  • In this paper we prove that if Toeplitz operators $T^{\alpha}_u$ with symbols in RW satisfy ${\parallel}uk^{\alpha}_z{\parallel}_{s,{\alpha}{\rightarrow}0$ as $z{\rightarrow}{\partial}\mathbb{D}$ then $T^{\alpha}_u$ is compact and also prove that if $T^{\alpha}_u$ is compact then the Berezin transform of $T^{\alpha}_u$ equals to zero on ${\partial}\mathbb{D}$.

  • This paper deals with the study of newly defined special function known as k-Bessel's function due to Gehlot [2]. Certain integral representations of k-Bessel's function are investigated. Known integrals of classical Bessel's function are seen to follow as special cases of our main results.

  • In this paper, we propose an channel estimation method for Multi-Input Multi-Output-Orthogonal frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM). The proposed method estimates uniquely all channel frequency responses needed in space-frequency block coded OFDM systems using "comb-type" pilot symbols. To reduce the computational complexity of the proposed method, least square(LS) and linear minimum mean square error(LMMSE) are used in the frequency-domain. The performance of the proposed approach is evaluated by computer simulation for rayleigh fading channel.

  • A RVLC(Reversible Variable Length Code) with an efficient table memory is proposed in this paper. In the conventional decoding methods, the weight of symbols and code values are used for the decoding table. These methods can be applied for Huffman decoding. In VLC decoding, many studies have been done for memory efficiency and decoding speed. We propose an improved table construction method for general VLC and RVLC decoding, which uses the transition number of bits within a symbol with an enhanced weight decomposition. In this method, tile table for RVLC decoding can be implemented with a smaller memory

  • This paper analyzes how a social status is symbolized by clothing in Charles Dickens' novel 「The Tale of Two Cities」. The result shows that clothing symbols of he upper class people are splendid, perfect, good material, beautiful, younger looking, and fashionable. Meanwhile, those on the middle class people are neat, unpretentious, simple, practical, following fashion, and graceful. Finally, those on the lower class people are unfitted, disordered, careless, worn and shabby, unclean, disharmonious, coarse, and uniform.

  • A matrix whose entries consist of the symbols +, - and 0 is called a sign pattern matrix. In [1], a graph theoretic characterization of sign idempotent pattern matrices was given. A question was given for the sign patterns which allow idempotence. We characterized the sign patterns which allow idempotence in the sign idempotent pattern matrices.

  • Database schema is designed to accumulate the literal information automatically such as reinforced concrete design specifications.   • Let H and K be two Hilbert spaces, and let A and B be two bounded linear operators from H to K. We are interested in $RangeB^*{\supseteq}RangeA^*$. It is well known that this is equivalent to the inequality $A^*A{\geq}{\varepsilon}B^*B$ for a positive constant ${\varepsilon}$. We study conditions in terms of symbols when A and B are singular integral operators, Hankel operators or Toeplitz operators, etc.

  • In this paper, we discovered a sufficient condition ensuring the weighted composition operators $C_{{\omega}_1,{\varphi}_1},{\cdots},C_{{\omega}_N,{\varphi}_N}$ were disjoint supercyclic on $H({\Omega})$ endowed with the compact open topology. Besides, we provided a condition on inducing symbols to guarantee the disjoint supercyclicity of non-constant adjoint multipliers $M^*_{{\varphi}_1},M^*_{{\varphi}_2},{\cdots},M^*_{{\varphi}_N}$ on a Hilbert space ${\mathcal{H}}$.
