Continuing from previous studies of sustainable concrete containing environmentally friendly materials and existing modeling approach to predicting concrete properties, this study developed an estimation methodology to predicting the strength of sustainable concrete using an advanced case-based reasoning approach. It was conducted in two steps: (i) establishment of a case database and (ii) development of an advanced case-based reasoning model. Through the experimental studies, a total of 144 observations for concrete compressive strength and tensile strength were established to develop the estimation model. As a result, the prediction accuracy of the A-CBR model (i.e., 95.214% for compressive strength and 92.448% for tensile strength) performed superior to other conventional methodologies (e.g., basic case-based reasoning and artificial neural network models). The developed methodology provides an alternative approach in predicting concrete properties and could be further extended to the future research area in durability of sustainable concrete.

The u-City construction project has become a hot topic in the construction market because it seems economic value-added field for construction firms. However, construction firms don't willingly participate in the u-City construction market because environments of the future business for the u-City are very uncertain. Scenario planning is a very powerful method in managing this uncertain planning situation and is based on scenarios that help each enterprise appropriately adapt itself to its own business environments. Therefore it is based on the main principles of systems thinking and multiple futures. For the purpose of dealing with such uncertainties, this paper attempts to develop the possible market scenarios of the u-City construction market in S.Korea through a scenario planning approach. From this perspective, we considered various aspects of the u-City construction such as market demands, technology development, policy level and management environment. After considering the relevant issues, we identified the main trends and key uncertainties. Finally, we developed three coherent u-City construction market scenarios. Construction firms can use these scenarios as a basic reference for market analysis and business strategy. Therefore, this paper is able to enhance the participation of construction firms in the u-City construction market.

Research has been carried out to study thermal environment in a classroom under three kinds of air diffusion temperature and six kinds of air diffusion direction for ceiling type air conditioner. The velocity and temperature distributions of air in the room calculated by 3-dimensional numerical method(PHOENICS), This present study was also conducted to calculate the Air Diffusion Performance Index(ADPI) for cooling conditions and Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied(PPD) for heating conditions. This analysis shows that the optimum angle of ceiling type air conditioner's diffusion is $15{\sim}30^{\circ}$ for cooling mode and about $15{\sim}45^{\circ}$ for heating mode in these calculating conditions. And also analysis has been carried out to evaluate thermal comfort of vertical and horizontal cross section of classroom.

Purpose: As the concerns for the environment are gradually prioritized, increasing interests of environment-friendly buildings are drawn. Numerous researches about healthcare buildings have been performed however, they were mainly focused on convenience or healing condition for medical treatments. The hospitals consume energy and generate $CO_2$ as twice as the residential or commercial buildings do. Various green building certification systems are globally arranged. But, it isn't easy to find certification criteria for the green hospital besides the US and UK's ones which are specially designed to evaluate environment-friendly medical buildings(Lim&Yoo, 2010). Methods: In this study, we investigates current conditions of Tokyo Regional hospitals in environment-friendly standpoint and also investigates the foreign certification criteria and systems for the green healthcare building and finds the possibility to apply them to Korean one. Results: Through this study, we found that the Tokyo regional hospitals can be environmentally improved by management plans and programs. Implications: Based on this analysis, Korean Green Building Certification for healthcare facilities will be developed in near future.

The number of school crime has grown continuously for last ten years and its intensity also has reached to serious condition. The concept of CPTED(Crime Prevention through Environmental Design) needs to be focused for improving school environment regarding this context. The exterior space of school environment is variously exposed to school crimes committed by colleague students and also intruders. From the perspective of school CPTED, Natural surveillance as one of the practical strategies requires the micro-scale analysis which clarifies local visibility at each different school exterior space. Thus, the purpose of this research is to develop the analysis method clarifying visibility condition at exterior space of school environment, which supports finding the condition of natural surveillance. The programmed analysis algorithm generated quantitative results clarifying Degree for static visibility and Clustering Coefficient for user tracking visibility. The result of this study produced the analysis method feasible to clarify weak natural surveillance conditions at school exterior spaces. Also, it is expected that the developed analysis method will be used to improve the layout of school exterior space from the perspective of CPTED.

Interests in tourism and leisure have increased with the quality of life in Korea. The government takes the lead in development of tourism for balanced development between regions and local governments use development of tourism as a means for vitalization of local economy. The sustainable and eco-friendly development plan is required for the tourism development, because it needs effective use of limited natural resources and consideration of environmental capacity in the region. This study analyzed the trend of tourism development during nine years, and problems with respect to planning and environment aspects on the basis of four examples which follow recent development trend. We suggest improvement plan that 1) establishment of consistency and systematics of tourism development, 2) enforcement of setting up regional tourism development plan, 3) comprehensive and systematic plan establishment in consideration of private sector, 4) reasonable adjustment and environmental management for development project of approval organization, 5) removal of duplicate regulations for development project. Application of the improvement plan while setting up tourism plan could contribute to vitalization of local economy, and environmental preservation and management.

In construction, stakeholders of extended project team play a key role in the overall project performance. Successful integration of stakeholders demands for good management practices at strategic, operational and project levels. Targets and measures to improve the stakeholder performance encourage the creativity and willingness of stakeholders of extended project team to develop the better ways to achieve the project objectives. This paper presents a generic descriptive method, showing how stakeholder's ability and influence impacts on project performance in the construction sector. The findings of a series of interviews with key informants are presented and the following main conclusion is drawn: improving project performance through stakeholder's contribution and measuring their performance can strengthen the project performance. This innovative approach which redefines the process of improving the project performance in construction projects will be of interest to those who intend to manage the projects in practice as well as to those who interested in advancing theory.

Analysis of the case of the German school acceptance plan was to help complement the limitations of the nation's student accommodation plan will be judged. Therefore, the present study in order to determine what the content covered in the plan of the German student acceptance of Potsdam, Germany, which contains information from the Potsdam school development plan (Schulentwicklungsplan) were analyzed. A scheme suggested in this study was based on the analysis of survey to elementary school in Potsdam and actually surveyed data on educational environment, the result can be summed up as follows; Korea's plan to accommodate students and school development plan (Schulentwicklungsplan) is called, as shown in the case of this study in Potsdam(Germany) student acceptance of the educational environment plans, as well as accommodate students like us, school facility planning and school facilities dealing with the financial investment plan. In addition, the plan as a long-term plan that will ensure the predictability of long-term school facilities to finance investment plans. This study, there are limits to Potsdam, Germany, to analyze the characteristics of Germany's student accommodation plan to represent the characteristics of the students of other cities in Germany and an acceptance plan.

Proceeded with a research with basic data about the qualification standard improvement scheme about the environment school architecture in which a comparison analyze the specialized field of BREEAM system of LEED of the hit environment building qualification standard G-SEED of the domestic and U.S Green Building Counci evaluated with the certification system of the world top class and Building Research Establish, essential item, and mark distribution and weight in this study at this and which I hit with a domestic afterward. The school facility with a hub among the equipment receiving the hit environmental qualification standard, and the range of this research does LEED of the domestic green building certification system February is revised in 2013 G-SEED and which US and BREEAM in UK with a range. The way of the research checked the environment school building certification system and situation hit home and abroad, and a comparison analyze the division of the specialized field of each country qualification standard, essential item, and mark distribution and weight.

This study analyzed the application articles of the Internet of Things (IoT) in the educational environment. It defined learning environmental data, utilization scenarios, and models that IoT can improve teaching and learning through Focus Group Interviews for academic experts, teachers, and technicians in related fields. In addition, the IoT pilot prototype was developed, verified, and drew implications from the perspective of collection, analysis, and utilization of real-time data based on the actual school settings. This study has significance as a priori case of building and applying a learning environment using the Internet of Things in real school settings considering relevant restrictions.
