In order to control a LTI(Linear Time Invariant) system subjected to system noise and measurement noise, first of all, it is necessary to estimate the state of system with reliability. Kalman filtering technique has been widely used to estimate the state of the stochastic LTI system with stationary noise characteristics because of its estimation ability versus algorithm simplicity. However, it often fails to estimate the state of the LTI system of which system parameter uncertainty exists partly and/or input uncertainty exists. In this paper, a new estimation technique based on Kalman filter is suggested for stochastic LTI system under parameter uncertainty and/or input uncertainty. A fuzzy estimation algorithm against uncertainties is introduced so as to compensate the state estimate filtered by Kalman filter. In order to verify the state estimation performance of the suggested technique, several simulations are accomplished.

Lecture Evaluation system is an only way, so far, to evaluate the quality of lectures in our university and yet has several problems. This system does not have any effects on professors; however, it is rather used to threaten assistant professors and/or part-time/full-time lecturers. As a result, students are still dissatisfied with the unchanging lectures of professors. Generally speaking, We should consider new ideas to introduce a head teacher system or improve the lecture evaluation system to open doors wider for teachers, professors do their best to expand students' understanding by practicing the Lecture Evaluation System. In fact, it is hard to keep the objectiveness that the professors estimate the quality of professors. That is why this check list should be restricted only as a guideline among the system. After all, it is expected to bring better educational circumstances when the system functions properly to provide professors to research more.

This paper presents a study on the introduction of User Model-Based Dialogue System. Also we present a plan-based Korean dialogue system as a natural language database user interface for product search. The system can be characterized by its support for mixed initiative to give user more control over dialogue, employment of user model to reflect user's preferences, alternative solution suggestion if there is no product matched exactly to user's requirements, handling circumlocution which frequently occurs in dialogues. The user modeling shell system BGP-MS is adapted for the system. The system provides for a user-friendly database user interface by managing dialogue intelligently. By its implementation and test, it has been shown that the user model-based dialogue system can be utilized effectively for product search.

Safety critical systems are those in which a failure can have serious and irreversible consequences. Nowadays digital technology has been rapidly applied to critical system such as railways, airplanes, nuclear power plants, and vehicles. The main difference between analog system and digital system is that the software is the key component of the digital system. The digital system performs more varying and highly complex functions efficiently compared to the existing analog system because software can be flexibly designed and implemented. The flexible design make it difficult to predict the software failures. This paper reviews safety standard and criteria for safety critical system such as railway system and suggests development methodology, ordering management and assessment process for railway software with more detail description.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to analyze the naming of 'A diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun six meridian patterns and provisions' and to suggest an alternative naming. Methods : 1. The meaning of 'Six meridian(六經)' was reviewed on existing theories and Shanghanlun provisions. 2. Comparing the name of diangostic system with the term in 'Korean Standard Classification of Diseases-6(KCD-6)' and term in 'WHO international standard terminologies on traditional medicine in the western pacific region' was done. Results : 'Six meridian' is customary used in the Shagnhanlun study but its meaning is not match with original Shanghanlun system and could possibly make misunderstanding. So 'Disease pattern identification' is suitable than 'Six meridian' for this diagnostic system. Conclusions : This study suggests that using 'A disease pattern identification diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions.'is more appropriate instead of using the name of the six meridian diagnostic system.

In the information system, there are many fields that used by decision making support system. Customer sensibility based recommendation agent system was developed to tailor to the customer the suggestion of goods and the description of store catalog in on-line shopping mall. The recommendation agent system composed of five modules and seven services including specialized algorithm. This study was to investigate the effectiveness of the customer sensibility based recommendation agent system in on-line shopping mall. This study asked 30 male and female students to perform the task in on-line shopping mall and facilitated them questionnaires. The questionnaires were administered to subjects to measure quality precision, ease of use, support of buying, purchasing power, future intention of the system. The study revealed that good part of the subjects positively evaluated the customer sensibility based recommendation system except for ease of use. The study on usability of the recommendation agent system has need to be performed in next. This paper shows that the satisfaction and the buying power of customers may be improved by presenting customer sensibility based recommendation in on-line shopping mall.

동기방식 System에서는 모든 하위 Block에서 동일한 시간정보를 유지하는 것이 중요하다. 대부분의 기능들이 기준 Clock에 동기된 시간정보를 가지고 구현되므로 시간정보가 틀려지면 System에 치명적인 영향이 미치게 된다. 그러므로, 중요 Block에서는 이러한 시간정보/clock Signal의 정상 수신여부를 점검하는 부분이 꼭 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 Clock Signal을 점검하는 방법을 살펴보면서 발생할 수 있는 문제점에 대해 논하고 대안을 제시하고자 한다.
