박판 웨이퍼의 적재 시 손상 최소화 기술 (Technology of Minimized Damage during Loading of a Thin Wafer)

  • 본 연구는 웨이퍼를 적재할 때 웨이퍼의 손상을 최소화 시키기 위한 기술이다. 반도체와 솔라셀에 이용되는 두께가 얇은 웨이퍼는 적재된 웨이퍼 사이의 표면 장력에 의해 웨이퍼의 분리를 어렵게 만들어 웨이퍼의 표면에 손상을 줄 수 있다. 이러한 웨이퍼의 손상을 최소화시키는 기술은 압축 공기를 웨이퍼 쪽으로 분사하고, 미소의 수평 이동 기구를 동시에 적용하는 것이다. 연구에 사용된 주요 실험 인자는 웨이퍼의 공급 속도, 압축 공기의 노즐 압력, 그리고 흡착 헤드의 흡착 시간이다. 실험 결과, 동일한 노즐 압력에서 웨이퍼의 공급 속도가 빠를수록 파손율이 증가하고, 동일한 공급 속도에서는 노즐 압력이 낮을수록 파손율이 증가한다. 그리고, 웨이퍼를 흡착시키데 필요한 시간은 어느 수준 이상이면 웨이퍼의 공급 속도에 따른 파손율에는 큰 영향을 미치지 않는다. 본 연구의 실험 범위 안에서 최적의 실험 조건은 웨이퍼의 공급 속도 600 ea/hr, 압축 공기의 노즐 압력 0.55 MPa, 흡착 헤드의 흡착 시간 0.9 sec 이다. 또한, 반복성능 실험을 통해 개선된 기술은 웨이퍼의 파손율을 최소화시킬 수 있음을 보여 주었다.

간헐포기 소화슬러지의 개량과 탈수 특성에 관한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Conditioning and Dewaterability of Digested Sludge from Intermittent Aerobic Digestion)

  • Synthetic organic polyelectrolytes can be used to condition sludges to enhance their dewaterability. When conditioning biological sludges, the charge on the polymer has a significant impact on the effectiveness of the polymer as a conditioner. The objectives of this investigation were to determine the most effective type and dosage of polymer for conditioning digested sludge prior to dewatering, and to investigate the relationship between dewaterability and particle size. 3 types of digested sludge were used under the different digestion processes like anaerobic digestion, aerobic digestion and intermittent aerobic digestion. CST(capillary suction time), TTF(time-to-filter) and SRF(specific resistance to filtration) were tested as a dewaterability index and the number of particle distribution was analyzed using particle size analyzer. The results indicate that cationic polymer appears to be required for effective conditioning of these 3 types digested sludge and the optimal polymer dosage is about 0.6% of SS. CST and TTF are well correlated with mean particle diameter of which the dimension order is 1.7.

다단 축류 압축기 정익 흡입면에서의 비정상 경계층 유동 특성 (Flow Characteristics in Unsteady Boundary Layer on Stator Blade of Multi-Stage Axial Compressor)

  • Experimental study was performed to investigate the flow behavior in boundary layer on the blade suction surface of a multi-stage axial flow compressor, which was focused on the third stage of the 4-stage Low Speed Research Compressor. Flow measurements in the boundary layer were obtained using a boundary layer hot wire probe, which was traversed normal to the blade suction surface at small increments by the probe traverse specially designed. Detailed boundary layer flow measurements covering most of the stator suction surface were taken and are described using time mean and ensemble averaged velocity profiles. Amplitude of the velocity fluctuation and turbulence intensity in the boundary layer flow are also discussed. At midspan, narrow but strong wake zone due to passing wake disturbances is generated in the boundary layer near the blade leading edge for the rotor blade passing period. Corner separation is observed at the tip region near the trailing edge, which causes to increase steeply the boundary layer thickness.

이젝터를 이용한 다관식 열교환기 파울링 자동제거장치의 구동특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study of Operating Characteristics on Fouling Auto Removal Apparatus of Multi Pass Type Heat Exchanger using Ejector)

  • The experiment was performed to check operating characteristics of fouling auto removal apparatus for multi pass type heat exchanger using ejector. The results showed as following. The ejector suction flow rate increased with the head of operating pump of ejector. Proper suction flow rate showed $7.2{\sim}10.2m^3/h$ for ball collection in case of pump head 35~50m. The head of ejector outlet pipe is below 4.1m in case of 40m, the head of operating pump of ejector to confirm ejector suction flow rate 8.4m3/h. Lattice space of ball separator is allowed 6~10.3mm in ranges of ball diameter are 15~25mm and when mass flow of cooling water is 3.0m/sec. Average of passing time of balls is 1.2~2.8sec depend on the velocity of flow and the size of balls.

  • The simulation of refrigeration cycle is important since the experimental approach is too costly and time-consuming. The present simulation focuses on the effect of capillary tube-suction line heat exchangers (CT-SLHX), which are widely used in small vapor compression refrigeration systems. The simulation of steady states is based on fundamental conservation equations of mass and energy. These equations are solved simultaneously through iterative process. The non-adiabatic capillary tube model is based on homogeneous two-phase model. This model is used to understand the refrigerant flow behavior inside the non-adiabatic capillary tubes. The simulation results show that both of the location and length of heat exchange section influence the coefficient of performance (COP). These results can be used in either design calculation of capillary tube length for refrigeration cycle or effect of suction line heat exchanging on refrigeration cycle.

  • The air suction filter of the power plant decrease the dust and impurities of suction air that reduce the life and efficiency of the boiler. The suction efficiency of the air filter falls with the dust and impurities when the time of use comes to be long. Therefore, the various contaminant of the filter must remove periodically. This paper presents a developed quick exhaust valve to use in the thermo-electric power plant. to removing contaminants on the filter, the blowing is done shortly by air pressure. The Air flowed out to the out side from the inside of the filter. The performance test of the developed valve is done by making a test-bench according to JIS and KS standards. The efficiency is found higher than the existing related valve.

  • 본 연구에서는 이러한 예측능력 향상에 중점을 두어 2차원 축대칭 모델엔진 실린더내의 유동장 및 열전달특성을 예측할 수 있는 새로운 코오드를 개발하여 실험자 료와의 비교를 통해 프로그램을 검증하고 흡입 및 압축과정을 수치시뮬레이션한 결과 를 보고하고자 한다. 아울러 선회속도의 영향도 고찰하였다. 난류모델은 K-.epsilon.난류 모델을 압축성 효과가 고려되도록 수정된 모델을 사용하였으며 TEACH코오드를 기본으 로 하여 비정상 압축성 유동을 풀 수 있는 새로운 알고리즘을 개발하여 수정하였다.

자유수면 밑을 전진하는 세장체에 작용하는 수면흡입력의 추정 (Free Surface Suction Force Acting on a Submerged Slender Body Moving Beneath a Free Surface)

  • In this paper, the steady lift force acting on a slender body moving beneath regular wave systems of arbitrary wavelengths and directions of propagation is considered. The momentum conservation theorem and the strip method are used to obtain the hydrodynamic forces acting on the body and affecting its motions on the assumption that the body is slender. In order to obtain the vertical steady force acting on it, or the free surface suction force, the second-order hydrodynamic forces caused by mutual interactions between the components of the first-order hydrodynamic forces are averaged over time. The validity of the method is tested by comparison of the calculated results with experimental data and found to be satisfactory. Through some parametric calculations performed for a typical model, some useful results are obtained as to the depth of submergence of the body, wavelengths, directions, etc.

ECDIS에 의한 준설선의 작업공정 관리 및 평가 (Evaluation and management of work process in dredger using ECDIS)

  • This paper describes on the evaluation and management of work process in suction hopper dredger and grab bucket dredger as an application of a PC-based ECDIS system. The dynamic tracking of dredging bucket and the data logging of grab dredging information were performed by using the grab dredging vessel "Kunwoong G-18". The position and route tracking of the dredger moving toward the ocean dumping site of dredged material was performed by using the hopper dredging vessel "Samyang-7". The evaluation of wok process in the dredging field, for grab dredger, was continuously carried out on January to May, 2006, in Incheon Hang and for hopper dredger, on July to December, 2003, in Busan Hang, Korea. The dredging information, such as dredger's position, heading, dredging depth and route track which was individually time stamped during the dredging operation, was automatically processed in real-time on the ECDIS and displayed simultaneously on the S-57 ENC chart. From these results, we conclude that the ECDIS system can be applied as a tool in order to manage the work process during the dredging operation, and also in order to generate the factual record of the dredging activities that is sufficient for dredging inspector to accurately evaluate the contract performance even in the absence of a full-time onboard inspector.

전산유체역학(CFD) 분석법을 이용한 High Wind Velocity/High Drying Time 헤어드라이어의 개발 (The Development of High Wind Velocity/High Drying Time Hair Dryer using Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis Method)

  • This paper describes a design of a hair drier to improve its performance. the performance of the hair drier can be improved by increasing the wind velocity of its discharge port. the design of the hair drier is accomplished by using the CFD. the validity of design results were verified by comparison with the dry change of the hair drier. In this paper, the initial condition of the applied hair drier is as follows, the number of the blade is 9, the diameter of the suction port is 40[mm], the tip clearance is 12.5[mm], the con angle is $28.5^{\circ}$ and the fan angle is 27.5R. From design results, the enhanced condition of the hair drier can be obtained as follows, the number of the blade is 3, the diameter of the suction port is 50[mm], the tip clearance is 10.5[mm], the con angle is $21.5^{\circ}$ and the fan angle is 75R. At the enhanced condition of the hair drier, the wind velocity of the hair drier is 29[%] increase, and the dry time is 40[%] increase compare to the initial condition of the hair drier.
