The results of the research are as follows. First, factors influencing elementary school teachers who choose the science museum as a place for field trips were 'student's interest', 'teacher's own experience related to the science museum', 'science curriculum', 'suggestions from a fellow teacher', 'space available for field work' and so on. Second, 82% of the respondents conducted pre-education program, but they mainly conducted safety education. Third, the teacher conducted post-education program less than pre-education program. In the post-education program, the most activities were to express and share knowledge and experience gained from the science museum. Fourth, 52.2% of the teachers provided tasks or activity sheets during science museum field trips. Fifth, the teachers mainly served as safety guide. In addition, the teachers thought that safety guide was the most important role of teacher in science museum field trips. • This study aimed to investigate how middle school teachers perceived major features of the 'Free Learning Semester'. In 2013, the Free Learning Semester has been proposed by Korean government to provide students with the educational programs which deals with various activities in classroom in order to increase student's learning ability. The Free Learning Semester helps students to figure out their dreams and develops their talents. The government plans to expand the Free Learning Semester to all middle schools by 2016. Since teacher's perception is an important matter in the application of the Free Learning Semester, this study seeks to document the changes in curriculum by observing the perception of teachers in the school that implemented the Free Learning Semesters and those that did not implemented the Free Learning Semesters. 172 teachers from nine middle schools in Busan that their school schedules allowed were surveyed. Two school which operated the Free Learning Semester were compared to seven schools which did not operate the Free Learning Semester. The results are summarized as follows: First, almost all (97.7%) teachers in the Free Learning Semester schools have completed a training whereas 74.6% of the teachers in the non-Free Learning Semester schools have not. The usefulness of the training was satisfactory, but the teachers in the Free Learning Semester Schools wanted more practical help with the curriculum. Second, the result, which was statistically significant(p<.05), revealed that the first grade second semester of middle school was the best time to implement the Free Learning Semester. In order for its successful establishment in schools, there needs to be a reliable and effective evaluation system. However, the results regarding the introduction and management of the new system were not statistically significant. Lastly, in the Free Learning Semester Schools, the changes in teachers' perception were statistically significant (p<.05). The results show that the teachers need the training and the teacher's community to implement the curriculum and set a basis for valuation.

  • This study investigates Korean high school student's perception of sexual harassment and relative effects of victim's clothing, dating behavior and respondent's gender on perceptions of alleged sexual harassment cases. A quasi-experimental method was applied using a $2{\times}2{\times}2$ between-subjects factorial design that manipulated three variables (clothing exposure, dating behavior, and gender). Questionnaires were distributed to a convenience sample of 540 high school students and 530 questionnaires were used for the data analysis. The results indicate that the victim's clothing and dating behavior had a significant main effect on the responsibility for sexual harassment. The respondent put less responsibility on the assailant when the victim wore revealing clothing and when her dating behavior was provocative. The significant interaction effect between the respondents' gender and the victim's dating behavior indicated that when the victim's behavior was provocative, female respondents held more responsible to victim than male respondents did. The results also indicate that victim's clothing, dating behavior, and respondent's gender had significant main effect on the justification of sexual harassment. The respondents indicated that assailant's behavior is unjustifiable; however, when victim more revealing clothing, they indicated that the behavior is more justifiable.

The analysis on perception for mathematical creativity was done by testing 200 elementary school students in grades 4, 5, and 6 who are receiving gifted education in elementary mathematics gifted class operated by ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ City Dept of Education through the questionnaire that was developed based on Rhodes' 4P theory. This survey asked them to name what they think is the most creative from educational programs they have as far received. Then we analyzed the reason for the students' choice of the creativity program and interviewed the teachers who had conducted chosen program. As a result of analyzing the data, these students chose as mathematical creativity primarily creative problem solving, task commitment, and interest in mathematics in such order. This result is explained through analyzing the questionnaire that was based on Rhodes' 4P theory on areas of process, product and press. The perception of mathematical creativity by the gifted mathematical students not only helps to clarify the concept of mathematical creativity but also has implication for future development for gifted education program.

  • This study was conducted to explore pending issues as an obstacle factor in the library growth and progress through measurement of Korean and Chinese College undergraduates' perception on the library, and suggest its countermeasure to that the study result showed that their perception to the library's social and cultural function was low, so the library's cultural events need to be consolidated to enhance perception, and the Korean student's study zeal was lower than Chinese, and amny students did not go to the library, but an incentive is needed to escalate the strength of course study or the library availability. Also a countermeasure should be established such as a class link project through continuing specialized librarians' training strengthened, users' group education for the satisfaction enhancement and validity of the information service users.

  • The purpose of this study investigates how the audience evaluation on independency of broadcasting and news credibility of KBS and MBC affect their channel brand equity(cognition, image, loyalty, and quality). The results indicate that the audience evaluation on news credibility of KBS and MBC has stronger influence on channel brand equity than the one of independency of broadcasting. On ages, the older generation group has more positive perception on channel image and loyalty of KBS than the college student group and the college student group has more positive perception on channel cognition and quality of MBC than the older generation group. On political traits, the politically conservative groups of both KBS and MBC have more positive perception on independency of broadcasting, news credibility, and channel brand equity than the other groups. Consequently, public broadcasting systems should improve the credibility of news for securing independency of broadcasting. These systems make audience change their perception toward public broadcasting as recovering integrity of news and improving professionalism of news. Public broadcasting systems should conduct a further research to improve the management of channel brand equity by studying audiences' age and political traits.
