  • The ${\Gamma}$-semihyperring is a generalization of the concepts of a semiring, a semihyperring and a ${\Gamma}$-semiring. Here, the notions of (strongly) regular ${\Gamma}$-semihyperring, idempotent ${\Gamma}$-semihyperring; invertible set, invertible element in a ${\Gamma}$-semihyperring are introduced, and several examples given. It is proved that if all subsets of ${\Gamma}$-semihyperring are strongly regular then for every ${\Delta}{\subseteq}{\Gamma}$, there is a ${\Delta}$-idempotent subset of R. Regularity conditions of ${\Gamma}$-semihyperrings in terms of ideals of ${\Gamma}$-semihyperrings are also characterized.

  • We explore the latitudinal distribution of sunspots and pursue to establish a correlation between the statistical parameters of the latitudinal distribution of sunspots and characteristics of solar activity. For this purpose, we have statistically analyzed the daily sunspot areas and latitudes observed from May in 1874 to September in 2016. As results, we confirm that the maximum of the monthly averaged International Sunspot Number (ISN) strongly correlates with the mean number of sunspots per day, while the maximum ISN strongly anti-correlates with the number of spotless days. We find that both the maximum ISN and the mean number of sunspots per day strongly correlate with the the average latitude, the standard deviation, the skewness of the the latitudinal distribution of sunspots, while they appears to marginally correlate with the kurtosis. It is also found that the northern and southern hemispheres seem to show a correlated behavior in a different way when sunspots appearing in the northern and southern hemispheres are examined separately.

  • We aim in this article to establish variants of the Hadamard inequality for Caputo fractional derivatives. We present the Hadamard inequality for strongly (s, m)-convex functions which will provide refinements as well as generalizations of several such inequalities already exist in the literature. The error bounds of these inequalities are also given by applying some known identities. Moreover, various associated results are deduced.

  • Different types of deterministic solution methods were used to solve neutron transport equations corresponding to half-space and slab albedo problems. In these types of solution methods, in addition to the error of the numerical solutions, the obtained results contain truncation and discretization errors. In the present work, a non-analog Monte Carlo method is provided to simulate the half-space and slab albedo problems with Inönü and Anlı-Güngör strongly anisotropic scattering functions. For each scattering function, the sampling method of the direction of the scattered neutrons is presented. The effects of different beams with different angular dependencies and the effects of different scattering parameters on the reflection probability are investigated using the developed Monte Carlo method. The validity of the Monte Carlo method is also confirmed through the comparison with the published data.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of bipolar soft supra topological space and provide a characterization of the related concepts of bipolar soft supra closure and bipolar soft supra interior. We also establish a connection between bipolar soft supra topology and bipolar soft topology. Additionally, we present the concept of bipolar soft supra continuous mapping and examine the concept of bipolar soft supra compact topological space. A related result concerning the image of the bipolar soft supra compact space is proved. Finally, we identify the concepts of disconnected (connected) and strongly disconnected (strongly connected) space and derive several results linking them together. Relationships among these concepts are clarified with the aid of examples.

  • A sulfonic acid-water-silanol system in SO3H-functionalized MCM-41 was investigated using solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance techniques. The proton exchange rate between a water molecule and a silanol group in the S-PE-MCM-41 was determined by analyzing the 1D proton spectra, the proton EXSY spectrum, and 2H spin-lattice relaxation data under various hydration levels. Two kinds of water-bounding sites were found in the S-PE-MCM-41: weakly and strongly bound sites. Over several hours, water molecules bound to the weakly bound sites at the low hydration level migrated to the strongly bound sites. At high temperature, the S-PE-MCM-41 easily lost water molecules weakly bound to the silanol, while the strongly bound water molecules survived. Water molecules that participated in the hydration of the phenethyl sulfonate were involved in the hydrogenbonded silanol mechanism of proton conductivity. This phenomenon contributes higher proton conductivity to the S-PE-MCM-41 by the cooperation of sulfonyl and silanol groups in the proton transfer process, even at higher temperature.

  • We consider the following strongly damped wave equation on ℝ3 with memory utt - αΔut - βΔu + λu - ∫0 κ'(s)∆u(t - s)ds + f(x, u) + g(x, ut) = h, where a quite general memory kernel and the nonlinearity f exhibit a critical growth. Existence, uniqueness and continuous dependence results are provided as well as the existence of regular global and exponential attractors of finite fractal dimension.

  • In this paper we shall give a new definition for a quasi-power module P(M) and discuss some properties for P(M). The quasi-power module P(M) is a direct sum of invertible quasi-submodules C(H)'s of P(M) and then the quasi-submodule C(H) is also a direct sum of strongly cyclic quasi-submodules of C(H). When M is a quasi-perfect right R-module, we shall see that the quasi-power module P(M) is invertible.

  • S. Turner has shown that a Neron symbol can be calculated from the values of K-meromorphic theta functions corresponding to divisors on K-holomorphic torus of strongly diagonal type. Using an isogeny to a K-holomorphic torus of strongly diagonal type, he constructed a Neron symbol on K-holomorphic torus of diagonal type. In this work, we provide a simple formula of the Neron symbol on the Tate curve. And then we construct the Neron symbol on K-holomorphic torus of diagonal or st rongly diagonal type without using isogenies.
