In this paper, a new class of general strongly nonlinear variational-like inequalities was introduced and studied. The existence and uniqueness of solutions and a new iterative algorithm for the general strongly nonlinear variational-like inequality are established and suggested, respectively. The convergence criteria of the iterative sequence generated by the iterative algorithm are also given.

Let K be a fan-like simplicial sphere of dimension n-1 such that its associated complete fan is strongly polytopal, and let v be a vertex of K. Let K(v) be the simplicial wedge complex obtained by applying the simplicial wedge operation to K at v, and let $v_0$ and $v_1$ denote two newly created vertices of K(v). In this paper, we show that there are infinitely many strongly polytopal fans ${\Sigma}$ over such K(v)'s, different from the canonical extensions, whose projected fans ${Proj_v}_i{\Sigma}$ (i = 0, 1) are also strongly polytopal. As a consequence, it can be also shown that there are infinitely many projective toric varieties over such K(v)'s such that toric varieties over the underlying projected complexes $K_{{Proj_v}_i{\Sigma}}$ (i = 0, 1) are also projective.

We, in this paper, study the commutativity of skew polynomials at zero as a generalization of an ${\alpha}-rigid$ ring, introducing the concept of strongly skew reversibility. A ring R is be said to be strongly ${\alpha}-skew$ reversible if the skew polynomial ring $R[x;{\alpha}]$ is reversible. We examine some characterizations and extensions of strongly ${\alpha}-skew$ reversible rings in relation with several ring theoretic properties which have roles in ring theory.

In this paper, we introduce a new algebraic method to characterize rational PH plane curves. And using this method, we study the algebraic characterization of generic strongly regular rational plane PH curves expressed in the complex formalism which is introduced by R.T. Farouki. We prove that generic strongly semi-regular rational PH plane curves are completely characterized by solving a simple functional equation H(f, g) = $h^2$ where h is a complex polynomial and H is a bi-linear operator defined by H(f, g) = f'g - fg' for complex polynomials f,g.

The purpose of this paper is to prove strong convergence theorems for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a weak relatively nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for an inverse-strongly-monotone mapping by a new hybrid method in a Banach space. We shall give an example which is weak relatively nonexpansive mapping but not relatively nonexpansive mapping in Banach space $l^2$. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results announced by Ying Liu[Ying Liu, Strong convergence theorem for relatively nonexpansive mapping and inverse-strongly-monotone mapping in a Banach space, Appl. Math. Mech. -Engl. Ed. 30(7)(2009), 925-932] and some others.

A new class of generalized open sets in a topological space, called e-open sets, is introduced and some properties are obtained by Ekici [6]. This class is contained in the class of $\delta$-semi-preopen (or $\delta-\beta$-open) sets and weaker than both $\delta$-semiopen sets and $\delta$-preopen sets. In order to investigate some different properties we introduce two strong form of e-open sets called e-regular sets and e-$\theta$-open sets. By means of e-$\theta$-open sets we also introduce a new class of functions called strongly $\theta$-e-continuous functions which is a generalization of $\theta$-precontinuous functions. Some characterizations concerning strongly $\theta$-e-continuous functions are obtained.

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of generalized strongly nonlinear variational inequalities with setvalued mappings. By using the KKM technique, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solution for this class of generalized setvalued strongly nonlinear variational inequalities in reflexive Banach spaces. Our results include the main results of Verma ［16］, ［17］ as special cases.

In this paper, we study a class of strongly nonlinear implicit complementarity problems in the setting of Hilbert spaces H (not necessarily Hilbert lattices). By using the property of the projection and a suitable change of variables, we establish the equivalence between the strongly nonlinear implicit complementarity problem and the fixed point problem in H. Moreover, we use this equivalence and the fixed point theorem of Boyd and Wong to prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions for the strongly nonlinear implicit complementarity problem in H.

In this paper, we introduce a new notion which we call a generalized weakly ideal. We also investigate characterizations of strongly regular rings with the condition that every maximal left ideal is a generalized weakly ideal. It is proved that R is a strongly regular ring if and only if R is a left GP-V-ring whose every maximal left (right) ideal is a generalized weakly ideal. Furthermore, if R is a left SGPF ring, and every maximal left (right) ideal is a generalized weakly ideal, it is shown that R/J(R) is strongly regular. Several known results are improved and extended.

In this paper, some new classes of the higher order strongly exponentially preinvex functions are introduced. New relationships among various concepts of higher order strongly exponentially preinvex functions are established. It is shown that the optimality conditions of differentiable higher order strongly exponentially preinvex functions can be characterized by exponentially variational-like inequalities. Parallelogram laws for Banach spaces are obtained as an application. As special cases, one can obtain various new and known results from our results. Results obtained in this paper can be viewed as refinement and improvement of previously known results.
