저항운동 프로그램이 제 2형 당뇨병 노인의 자가간호, 스트레스 및 당화혈색소에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Resistance Exercise Program for Elders with Type 2 Diabetes on the Self Care, Stress and HbA1c)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of resistance exercise program for elders with type 2 Diabetes on the self care, stress and HbA1c. Methods: Thirty three elders with type 2 Diabetes(18 experimental and 15 control subjects) were selected conveniently among the aged who had been enrolled in a community senior center. The subjects in experimental group participated in a resistance exercise program for 8 weeks. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/Win 12.0. Results: The resistance exercise program showed a statistical difference in self care(t=-4.39, p=.000) and stress(t=2.22, p=.034). However, there was not a statistical difference in HbA1c (F=.556, p=.557), but experimental group had decreased continuously in HbA1c after the program. Conclusion: The resistance exercise program improved self care and reduced the stress in the elders with type 2 Diabetes. Therefore, resistance exercise program can be applied as an effective nursing intervention to promote self care, decrease the stress and to prevent complication for the elders with type 2 Diabetes.

보육교사의 직무스트레스가 이직의도 및 전직의도에 미치는 영향과 개인적 성취감의 조절효과 (The Effects of Child Care Teachers' Job Stress on Job Turnover, Occupational Turnover and the Moderating Effect of Personal Accomplishment)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of stress on child care teachers' with relation to job turnover, occupational turnover and the moderating role of personal accomplishment. The subjects were 153 child care teachers in Gyeonggi-Do. Data was analyzed through Pearson's correlation, multiple regressions using the SPSS12.0. This study showed that work overload and administrative problems in child care centers were significant predictors of a teachers' intention to change their job. Also, the stresses of human relations such as with children or co-workers were significant predictors of a child care teachers' intention to change occupation. Personal accomplishment was suggested to reduce the negative results of work overload and stress.

보육교사의 일반적 배경이 보육교사의 직업만족도에 미치는 영향 : 자기효능감과 직무스트레스의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Job Satisfaction among Korean Child Care Teachers : The Effects of Background Characteristics, Self-efficacy and Job Stress)

  • This study examined how child care teachers' background characteristics, self-efficacy and job stress relate to their job satisfaction. Participants were 400 child care teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi, Korea. Structural equation models were developed based on the authors' hypothesized model, which proposed that teachers' self-efficacy and job stress have a mediating effect in the relationship between teachers' background characteristics and job satisfaction. The results revealed that career directly influenced on self-efficacy and job stress but had no direct effect on job satisfaction. Education level was found to have a direct effect on job stress but had no direct effect on self-efficacy and job satisfaction. Teachers' self-efficacy affected job stress and job satisfaction and job stress affected job satisfaction. Furthermore, self-efficacy mediated the effects of career on job stress and job satisfaction. Additionally, job stress mediated the effects of education level and self-efficacy on job satisfaction. These results suggested that teachers' self-efficacy and job stress were key predictors and mediating variables in the relationship between background characteristics and job satisfaction.

입원이 불안감(Stress)으로서 환자에게 미치는 영향에 관한 일 연구 (A Study of Stress Factors Experienced by the Hospitalized Patients)

  • As the hospitalized patients will be facing new stress situation due to change of his environment from home to hospital it will be very important to understand the psychological stress experienced by hospital patients not only for helping patients in the process of recovery from illness but also fulfil1ing the objective of comprehensive nursing care by understanding the needs of the patients. There is no doubt that it would be very helpful for treatment of patients as well as for improvement of nursing care if we know more about psychological needs of patients and give them adequate support to meet these needs. The study to find out the causes and degree of stress events experienced by hospitalized patients, with the objective of instituting improvement of nursing care program based on the needs of patients, was conducted during the month of September 1974 with 60 patients randomly selected from those admitted to medical and surgical wards at Yonsei Medical Center in that period The questionnaire form included 36 questions which are considered to be stress events for hospital patients, and was devide into five areas namely, such events related to 1) disease itself, 2) hospital environment, 3) nursing care and treatment, 4) communication and human relations, and 5) family and economic problems. The results of the study were as follows: 1. It was confirmed that hospitalization considered to be a stress producing factor and most patients perceived the admission to hospital as a stress factor. 2. According to the rating scale, it was found that degree of perceived stress shows a variation according to the source of stress producing event. 3. No significant differences in the mean values were observed statistically with the perceived stress levels according to demographic and other variables of patients related to hospitalization. 4. Among the questions related to disease itself, "Admission for surgery" was perceived most frequently as a stress event (97.14%) by patients. 5. With regard to the questions related to hospital environment, "death of the patient room-mate" was the most serious stress event perceived by patients (90%) and "living with hospital regulations"was considered to be less serious stress event (23.33%). 6. As for the questions related to nursing care and treatment, "limitation of freedom" was perceived as a stress factor most frequently (70.91%) by the patients and "worry for wrong treatment" turned out to be less frequent stress event (50.0%). 7. As for the questions related to communication and human relations, "difficulty to meet doctors when wanted"appeared to be the most frequent stress event by the respondents (75.86%) , followed by "no explanation about treatment or examination"(75.0%) and "no explanation about nursing care procedures"(71.66%). 8. With regard 111 tile questions related to family and economic problems, "inadequate finances for family living due to hospitalization"and "high cost of hospitalization" were the most frequent cause of stress mentioned by the patients. (80.0%). 9. As a result of application of the stepwise regression analysis, it was found that about 89% was explained by those events associated with disease itself, hospital environment and family and economic problems. By adding those events related to "nursing care and treatment" and "communication and human relation", 100% of stress associated with hospitalization was explained.

예비보육교사의 핵심역량이 진로스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대한 진로포부의 매개효과 (The Effect of Preservice Child Care and Education Teacher's Competency on Career Stress : Career Aspiration as a Mediator)

  • 본 연구는 경기도에 소재한 대학의 보육학과 학생들을 대상으로 핵심역량과 진로스트레스 그리고 진로포부간의 영향을 연구하였다. 구체적인 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 핵심역량과 진로포부 그리고 진로스트레스의 상관관계는 핵심역량이 높을수록 진로포부는 높아지고 진로스트레스는 낮아졌다. 둘째, 핵심역량과 진로포부가 진로스트레스에 미치는 영향을 중다회귀분석으로 살펴본 결과 핵심역량의 하위요인인 자질과 태도 및 능력역할과 진로포부는 진로스트레스에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 핵심역량이 진로스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대한 진로포부의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과는 핵심역량이 진로스트레스에 직접적인 효과는 유의하지 않았으나 진로포부를 매개로한 간접효과는 유의하게 나타났다. 핵심역량은 진로포부를 매개로 하여 진로스트레스에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 논의 부분에서는 연구에 대한 논의 및 제한 그리고 추후연구방향을 제시하였다.

요양병원 간호사의 생애말 환자간호 역량과 임종간호 스트레스 (End of Life Care Competencies and Terminal Care Stress of Nurses in Long Term Care Hospitals)

  • 목적: 요양병원 간호사의 생애말 환자간호 역량과 임종간호 스트레스 수준을 파악하고 상관관계를 확인하여 요양병원 간호서비스의 질 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 방법: 충청남도 A시, C시 소재 요양병원에서 근무하고 있는 6개월이상 경력의 임종간호 경험이 있는 간호사 140명을 대상으로 하였고 설문지는 2018년 1월 17일부터 3월 3일까지 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 연구 목적에 따라 SPSS WIN ver. 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계 및 t-test, One way ANOVA, Scheffe-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple stepwised regression을 실시하였다. 결과: 연구 대상 간호사의 생애말 환자간호 역량은 5점 척도의 평균 $3.54{\pm}0.46$점이며 임종간호스트레스는 평균 $3.77{\pm}0.50$점으로 보통 수준 이상이었다. 연령, 총임상경력, 죽음교육 또는 호스피스 완화의료 교육, 직계가족의 임종경험 여부에 따라 생애말 환자간호 역량에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 생애말 환자간호 역량과 임종간호 스트레스 수준과의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 총점평균의 상관관계는 유의하지 않았으나 생애말 환자간호 역량은 임종간호 스트레스 중 전문지식과 기술부족으로 인한 스트레스와 음의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다(r=-0.260, P=0.002). 결론: 이상의 연구결과를 볼 때, 요양병원 간호사의 임종간호 스트레스는 보통 수준 이상으로 높으며 생애말 환자간호 역량이 높을수록 전문지식과 기술부족으로 인한 스트레스는 낮아지므로 간호사의 특성에 맞춘 생애말 환자간호 교육프로그램이 실시되어야 한다.

가정전문간호사의 업무 스트레스 (A Survey on the Job Stress of Home Care Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the job stress in home care nurses. Method: The subjects were 139 home care nurses of hospital in an urban cities. The data were collected from 26 Man to 27 June by self report adherence questionnaire. Job stress was measured using CHN-PWRSQ(Community Health Nurses Perceptions of Work-Related Stressors Questionnaire). Result: The average score of job stress was 60.8. There were significantly high levels of job stress in those who have less than 10 years office period, those who have less than 2000000 won monthly salary than in their counterparts. With regard to the level of job stress by item, 'driving long distance and traffic jam', 'risk of traffic accident', 'bad weather condition', 'uncooperative family members', and 'uncooperative client/patient' were higher than other items. The age and office period were negatively correlated with job stress. Conclusion: The average score of job stress was 60.8. 아이돌보미의 감정노동과 직무 스트레스가 소진에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Child Care Helpers' Emotional Labor and Job Stress on Their Burnout)

  • Purpose: This study aims to understand baby care helpers' degree of emotional labor, job stress, and burnout and analyze the effects of emotional labor and job stress on their burnout. Methods: Data were collected from August 16 to September 6, 2016 for three weeks with child care helpers working in C city, D city, and S city as subjects. Multiple regression analysis was used in order to examine the factors influencing the subjects' burnout. Results: Burnout in general characteristics differed significantly according to age (F=4.81, p=.011). As the most influential factors for burnout, emotional labor (${\beta}=.43$) had statistically significant correlation with it, along with job stress (${\beta}=.16$) and age (${\beta}=.14$). These variables explained burnout ($Adj.R^2=0.29$, p<.001) at a rate of 29%. Conclusion: It is judged that strategies and continuous management aimed at reducing child care helpers' emotional labor and job stress are necessary. As an approach from different aspects, it is required that variables related to emotional labor, job stress, and burnout are identified and there would be more researches in order to establish some national policies for child care helpers.

요양병원 간호사의 감정노동, 직무 스트레스 및 전문직 삶의 질 (Emotional Labor, Job Stress and Professional Quality of Life among Nurses in Long-term Care Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to identify the level of emotional labor, job stress and professional quality of life and to identify the factors affecting on professional quality of life among nurses in long-term care hospitals. Methods: 136 nurses working at eight different long-term care hospitals were recruited from May 1 to June 30, 2016. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: Professional quality of life is consisted of three subcategories as compassion satisfaction, secondary traumatic stress and burn-out. As for the factors affecting on compassion satisfaction, age, satisfaction on working ward and shift pattern of duties were significant factors. The three variables' explanation power on compassion satisfaction was 25.0%. As for factors affecting on secondary traumatic stress, emotional labor was a significant factor. The emotional labor's explanation power on secondary traumatic stress was 13.0%. Factors affecting on burn-out, emotional labor, age, and health condition were significant factors. The three variables' explanation power on burnout is 31.0%. Conclusion: On the basis of results, program development are required to relieve emotional labor and job stress for nurses at long-term care hospitals and to improve their professional quality of life.

간호·간병통합서비스병동과 일반병동 간호사의 피로, 수면의 질, 대인관계 스트레스 비교 (Comparison of Nurses's Fatigue, Sleep Quality and Interpersonal Relationship Stress between Comprehensive Nursing Care Service Wards and General Wards)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the differences in fatigue, sleep quality and interpersonal relationship stress levels between nurses in comprehensive nursing care wards and in general wards. Methods: Data were collected using self-reported structured questionnaire from 14 August to 17 September 2018. The participants were 220 nurses from 6 hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS 23.0 program, descriptive statistics, t-test, ${\chi}^2-test$, Fisher's exact test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The subjects' fatigue, sleep quality, and interpersonal relationship stress were not significantly different between the comprehensive nursing care services wards and the general wards. The interpersonal stress with a superior was statistically higher among general wards than comprehensive nursing care services wards. The relationship stress between patient and caregiver was higher in comprehensive nursing care services wards than in general wards. Conclusion: A follow-up study is needed to develop a strategic method to reduce interpersonal stress in nurses.
