디지털 스토리텔링을 이용한 독서지도 방안 연구 (A Study on Facilitating Reading Education Through Digital Storytelling)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생들을 대상으로 하여 일차적으로는 디지털 스토리텔링이 그들의 독서태도 향상에 효과가 있는지를, 이차적으로는 독서태도에 대한 디지털 스토리텔링의 효과가 협력학습과 개별학습 집단 간에 차이가 있는지를 살펴보았다. 서울에 있는 한 초등학교의 4학년 29명이 본 연구 대상으로 참여하였다. 연구 결과, 디지털 스토리텔링의 적용이 초등학생들의 독서태도를 향상시키는 데 매우 효과적이라는 사실을 확인하였다. 그러나, 태도에 대한 디지털 스토리텔링의 효과는 협력학습과 개별학습 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 디지털 스토리텔링이 협력, 개별학습에 관계없이 초등학생들의 독서태도를 향상시키는 데 매우 효과적인 방법임을 입증해주고 있다.

  • The following study has examined possible methodological approach and prospect of implementing storytelling in rural tourism field. It is aimed towards deducing principles of space composition behind securing placeness of rural tourism village through storytelling. The research had been conducted by archival research and case study on field of interest, and its findings are as follows: 1) Storytelling exhibits principles of narrative structure (exposition, complication, climax, and resolution) in various fields, and has shown tendency to structuralize a plot. 2) It can be said that storytelling is deeply related with people's associations of their inner mind. This can be a logical explanation of a certain sight or location, which is a physical environment itself being the actual narrator and distributor in storytelling. 3) In order to convey a story in a more convincing way, storytelling a naming strategy based on a rhetorical technique, which has been shown to positively influence creating unique placeness of a rural village. As indicated in our study, means of storytelling-"Continuity and tourist circulation of space composition with a narrative structure, spatial hierarchical order, concealment and revelation, cast, and naming based on rhetorical technique and facilities positioning"-is a viable solution that can bring recovery of the rural village's unique placeness, as well as spatial development for sustainable rural tourism.

고등학교 수학 교사의 스토리텔링 수학 교과서에 대한 이해 (High School Mathematics Teachers' Conception of Mathematics Textbooks Based on Storytelling)

  • Korean Ministry of Education Science, and Technology(MEST) has recommended the introduction of mathematics textbooks based on storytelling to improve the teaching and learning of mathematics in school. As part of the mathematics textbooks based on storytelling development, this research has investigated school mathematics teachers' perspectives on mathematics textbooks based on storytelling in order to identify implications for the development and the implementation of it. For the purpose, we have developed survey questionnaire and administered it to 113 high school mathematics teachers. The survey asked the teachers to address their conception of mathematics textbooks based on storytelling, its contribution to school mathematics, challenges and obstacles for the implementation. The survey shows that the mathematics teachers' conception of mathematics textbooks based on storytelling was not clear or limited. Most of them replied that they received information about mathematics textbooks based on storytelling from the materials provided by workshop or materials of school district office. While the teachers heard about that school will implement mathematics textbooks based on storytelling, they rarely had idea of how to use them in class. In the survey, the teachers identified which type of storytelling is effective for which purpose of mathematics education. They also identified the positive effect and the difficulties in the implementation of mathematics textbooks based on storytelling. The mathematics teachers pointed out that textbook is not enough. They urged that the implementation of mathematics textbooks based on storytelling should be integrated into classroom teaching and assessment to make a significant change in the educational practice of mathematics in school. Thus, mathematics teachers need support to implement mathematics textbooks based on storytelling into their teaching practice. Teacher workshop and teacher manuals need to be developed to help teachers understand educational visions and values of mathematics textbooks based on storytelling. These results of the survey would form the worthwhile base information for the development and the implementation of mathematics textbooks based on storytelling.

게임에서의 '영웅 스토리텔링' 모델화 연구 (Study of Hero-storytelling Model in Console Games)

  • 영웅스토리텔링의 기초인 '비범한 탄생', '낯선 세계로의 이입', '탐험, 모험', '영웅의 탄생', '귀환'의 순서는 게임 스토리텔링에서도 기초가 된다. 특히 이 과정 중 다음 단계로의 진입이 게임에서 Stage가 갖추어야 할 특성중 하나가 된다. 이때 영웅 스토리텔링의 관문이 가져야 할 특성은 크게 1) 외부적 한계 2) 내부적 한계의 극복으로 이루어져 있고 이에 대한 보상의 과정을 거쳐, 내부적 인정, 외부적 인정의 단계를 가지는데, 이것이 게임에서 핵심이 되는 중요한 특성이다. 또한 이 단계가 게임 스토리텔링으로 전이되면 다음과 같다. 1-5단계가 기반적 스토리로, 6-9단계가 게임 진행으로, 10-12는 게임의 규칙이나 장르로 변형된다. 본 논문에서는 게임에 적용 가능한 영웅 스토리텔링의 스토리 시스템화를 위하여, 게임 스토리텔링의 근간을 이루는 것이 영웅 스토리텔링이라는 것을 밝히고, 사례를 분석하여 게임에서의 영웅 스토리텔링의 모델을 도출하였다.

스토리텔링 기법을 적용한 '태양계와 별' 수업이 과학학습동기와 공간지각능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of 'Solar System and Star' Using Storytelling Skill on Science Learning Motivation and Space Perception Ability)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of storytelling skill on science learning motivation and space perception ability. For this study the 5 grade, 2 class was divided into a research group and a comparative group. The class was pre-tested in order to ensure the same standard. The research group had the science class with storytelling skill, and the comparative group had the class with teacher centered lectures for 10 classes in 10 weeks. The storytelling skill was focused on finding stories, constellation searching, story deciding, story hero deciding, story composition, storytelling completion. To prove the effects of this study, science learning motivation was split up according to attention power, relation, confidence, and sense of satisfaction. Also, space perception ability consisted of two-dimensional rotation, 3 dimension rotations, reflection, three-dimensional searching, number of block, and figure type in pattern. The results of this study are as follows. First, using storytelling skill was effective in science learning motivation. Second, using storytelling skill was effective in space perception ability. Also, after using storytelling skill was good reaction by students. As a result, the elementary science class with storytelling skill had the effects of developing science learning motivation and space perception ability. it means the science class with storytelling skill has potential possibilities and value to develop science learning motivation and space perception ability.

스토리텔링을 통한 초등학교 수학학습에 대한 고찰 (A Review on Teaching Elementary School Mathematics Though Storytelling)

  • 스토리텔링은 학생들이 능동적이고 적극적으로 수학에 참여하게 하는 유의미한 수학적 상황을 제공할 수 있으며, 여러 연구에서도 스토리텔링의 긍정적 효과를 보여 주고 있다. 최근 수학에 대한 흥미와 긍정적인 태도를 갖게 하기 위한 목적으로 초등학교에서 고등학교에 이르기까지 수학수업에서 스토리텔링이 강조되고 있고, 그에 따라 교과서 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 이미 2013년에 초등학교 1~2학년군을 시작으로 스토리텔링이 구현된 교과서를 사용하여 수학수업이 이루어졌으며, 3~4학년군은 2014년부터 5~6학년군은 2015년부터 적용될 예정이다. 그러나 스토리텔링이 수학교과서에 도입되고 이를 학교현장에서 어떻게 활용해야 할 지에 대해서 많은 논란이 있는 실정이다. 이러한 점에서 본 글에서는 스토리텔링을 도입하게 된 전반적인 배경을 논의하고, 스토리텔링의 개념과 수학교육적 측면에서의 교육적 의미 등을 고찰하고, 수학 수업에 스토리텔링 기법을 활용하기 위한 실제 방안을 탐색하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of storytelling skill on science concept and science learning motivation. For this study the 5 grade, 2 class was divided into a research group and a comparative group. The class was pre-tested in order to ensure the same standard. The research group had the science class with storytelling skill, and the comparative group had the class of the teacher centered lectures on 11 classes in 8 weeks. The storytelling skill was focused on set the astronomical target wants to set up a story, through the small group discussion, present subject of the story, set the protagonist of the story for smooth configuration of the story, in order to smooth the flow of the story, make up a story around a hero, to make a clear story, decorated with pictures, shapes, graphs, etc, group story, complete with an astronomical(saints) in storytelling. To prove the effects of this study, science concept was split up according to knowledge, inquiry, attitude. Also, science learning motivation consisted of assignment is worth, learning beliefs about control, self efficacy. The results of this study are as follows. First, using storytelling skill was effective in science concept. Second, using storytelling skill was effective in science learning motivation. Also, after using storytelling skill was good reaction by students. As a result, the elementary science class with storytelling skill had the effects of developing science concept and science learning motivation. It means the science class with storytelling skill has potential possibilities and value to develop science concept and science learning motivation.

기록화 스토리텔링 방법론 연구 (Research on the Methodology of Documentation Storytelling)

  • 본고는 기록화 스토리텔링의 개념 및 방법론에 관한 연구이다. '기록 활용'이 기록학계의 화두로 떠오른 후 활용을 위한 다양한 방법론이 모색되고 있다. 스토리텔링도 그중 하나이다. 본 연구는 기록 활용을 위한 방법론으로서의 스토리텔링을 '기록화 스토리텔링'으로 규정하고, '기록의 기록으로서의 가치구현 과정에서 생성되는 다양한 담론의 총체'로 개념화하고 있다. 본 연구는 기록화 스토리텔링 이론의 정초(定礎)를 목적으로 기록학, 스토리텔링, 기호학, 언어학 등 다양한 이론을 도입하고 있다. 아날로그 시대가 잉태한 디지털 시대의 기록학은 두 시대의 학문적 경향을 총체적으로 계통화할 과제를 가진다. 그중 하나가 디지털 시대의 기록화의 문제이다. 기록화 스토리텔링 역시 디지털 시대가 요구하는 이론이다. 본 연구는 디지털 시대의 '기록화'를 가변적이고도 실천적인 행위로 규정하고 있고, 기록화에 따른 결과를 '기록화 스토리텔링', 즉 '기록의 가치가 끊임없이 생성되는 기호작용'으로 규정하고 있다.

향토음식의 스토리텔링 적용 사례연구 (A Case Study on Storytelling Application of Native Local Foods)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the scheme that can enhance the value of native local foods by analyzing the case into which storytelling is incorporated in order to revitalize native local foods. Towards this end, the cases of native local foods throughout the country were recommended through professional survey and one region among them was finally selected through the field study. The survey on the native local foods was conducted through qualitative study. The four stages of storytelling: the findings of storytelling, the production of storytelling, the experience of storytelling, and sharing of storytelling were analyzed by stage and the contents of the survey by stage were developed. In the findings of story, the origins and background of the main family's foods and food-related stories were derived. The production of stories deals with how to convey the stories of surveyed native local foods to consumers and it presented the stories about the place and food menu. In the experience of storytelling, the physical environment and non-physical environment, in which people visit native local eating houses and experience native local foods were analyzed. Finally, in the sharing of story, how the tourists who have experienced the native local foods make stories and disseminate and share them was analyzed. The significance of this study is that through the storytelling technique it presented the findings, production, experience and sharing of native local foods in the level that can apply to practical business. Although the research is in the stage of inquiry, this study is meaningful in that it presented the basic methodology that can induce the revitalization of the native local food industry through examining the tradition and significance of native local foods that can be found in all the regions of the country.

비주얼 스토리텔링의 재미요소 설계 (Design of Interest Elements in Visual Storytelling)

  • 만화, 애니메이션 등 OSMU 기반의 문화콘텐츠를 기획함에 있어서 가장 중요한 것은 원천스토리의 개발과 이를 다양한 매체의 콘텐츠로 제작할 수 있도록 가공하는 스토리텔링이다. 현재 스토리텔링에 대한 이론적인 연구는 다양하게 이루어지고 있으나, 실제 콘텐츠를 제작할 때 필요한 재미요소 설계에 대한 방법론적인 연구는 미흡하다. 따라서 본 논문은 OSMU 기반의 문화콘텐츠를 기획할 때 그 방법론적인 가이드라인을 제시하고자 하는 목적으로, 스토리텔링의 재미요소를 추출하고, 그 재미요소들을 매체에 맞게 가공하여 시각화하는 비주얼 스토리텔링의 설계 방법을 제안하고자 한다.
