냉연 형상 교정시 Stress 천이 현상 연구 (Study of Stress Distribution of Cold Rolled Steel Sheets in Tension Leveling Process)

  • The shape of cold rolled steel sheets is defined as the degree of flatness, and the flatter, the better. Because undesirable strip shapes of cold rolled steel sheets can affect not only visible problem but also automatic working process in customer's lines, the requirement of the customers is more and more stringent. So we usually used the tension leveler to make high quality of strip flatness. For the improvement of the quality of strip flatness, this report developed three- dimensional FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation model, and analysis about the strain and stress distribution of strip in the tension leveling process. The numerical study can be summarized as follows. (1) If we pass the edge wave material (steepness: $1.0\%$) that the stress-difference between the strip center and the edge is 5.2kgf through tension leveler. the stress-difference is decreased 0.45kgf and the steepness is improved to $0.29\%$. (2) If the Intermesh is increased from 6mm to 7mm, the steepness is improved from $0.294\%$ to $0.268\%$. (3) If the initial steepness is decreased form $1.0\%$ to $0.75\%$, the final steepness is improved from $0.294\%$ to $0.263\%$. We know that more increased intermesh and lower initial steepness make the final steepness improved.

연령구조평가모델 하의 MSY 계산에서 Steepness와 자연사망률의 영향 분석 (The Influence of Steepness and Natural Mortality Rate on the MSY Calculation in an Age-structured Model)

  • It is challenging to simultaneously estimate parameters in a stock-recruitment relationship, steepness, and natural mortality rate with the other parameters within an age-structured assessment model even in a data-rich situation. Such a problem leads to uncertainty in estimates of management references such as maximum sustainable yield (MSY), which are affected by those components. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of those parameters on MSY by analyzing the process of estimating the MSY. For illustration, we used two data sets: The chub mackerel Scomber japonicus in the Korean waters and the yellowtail flounder Limanda ferruginea in the Southern New England-Mid Atlantic. As a result, the natural mortality rate influenced spawning stock biomass per recruit, yield per recruit, and MSY, while steepness affected MSY. A sensitivity analysis enabled us to estimate the natural mortality rate and steepness. The optimal set of steepness and natural mortality was 1.0 and 0.37 per year for the chub mackerel, and 0.35, and 0.8 per year for the yellowtail flounder, respectively.

다방향 파랑집중에 의한 쇄파의 파형특성 연구 (Evolution of Surface Profiles of Breaking Waves Generated by Directional Wave Focusing)

  • 방향 및 주파수 성분을 포함하는 파랑집중에 의해 다방향 쇄파를 생성하였으며, 등기울기 및 등진폭 스펙트럼 모델을 적용하였다. 생성된 다방향 쇄파는 초기쇄파, 단일쇄파 다중쇄파로 구분된다. 다방향 쇄파의 특성을 파정 기울기 및 비대칭성으로 정의되는 파형인자들의 함수로 고찰하였다. 또한 파랑집중의 효율성 관점에서 쇄파 파랑특성의 전개를 분석하였다. 파정 전면 기울기 및 연직 비대칭성은 쇄파과정에 영향을 미치는 중요한 인자이나, 파정후면 기울기 및 수평 비대칭성은 쇄파 과정에서 거의 상수 값을 갖는다. 방향 성분의 중첩은 파랑집중의 효율성을 크게 강화하며, 이는 다방향파의 쇄파 특성이 일방향파의 쇄파 특성과 상이함을 나타낸다.

Numerical studies on non-linearity of added resistance and ship motions of KVLCC2 in short and long waves

  • In this study, numerical simulations for the prediction of added resistance for KVLCC2 with varying wave steepness are performed using a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method and a 3-D linear potential method, and then the non-linearities of added resistance and ship motions are investigated in regular short and long waves. Firstly, grid convergence tests in short and long waves are carried out to establish an optimal mesh system for CFD simulations. Secondly, numerical simulations are performed to predict ship added resistance and vertical motion responses in short and long waves and the results are verified using the available experimental data. Finally, the non-linearities of added resistance and ship motions with unsteady wave patterns in the time domain are investigated with the increase in wave steepness in both short and long waves. The present systematic study demonstrates that the numerical results have a reasonable agreement with the experimental data and emphasizes the non-linearity in the prediction of the added resistance and the ship motions with the increasing wave steepness in short and long waves.

  • 심해 정상파의 불안정성에 관한 실험 연구로부터, 파형경사 0.19에서 0.25 사이에서는 2차원적인 Benjamin-Feir 형태의 불안정성과 쇄파가 관찰되었으며, 파형경사가 이보다 큰 0.31 이상에서는 3차원적인 불안정성과 쇄파가 관찰되었다. 또한 이 실험에서 같은 파형 경사를 가진 2 가지 종류의 파랑이 실험, 관찰되었는데, 여기에서 작은 파고를 가진 짧은 파랑은 높은 파고를 가진 긴 파랑보다 더 불안정하고 그리고 보다 더 빨리 쇄파됨이 관찰되었다.

  • In this study, the run-up of water waves on slopes of s-berm breakwaters was investigated by performing a series of hydraulic experiments. The run-up height was analyzed in detail by using the effects of wave steepness and surf similarity parameter. In general, the run-up heights were decreased as the height and the width of berm were increased. However, the variation of run-up height was small for change of wave steepness and surf similarity parameter.

  • 본 논문에서는 수심이 일정한 수조에서의 비선형 천해파의 변형 과정에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 파랑의 최초 쇄파에 대한 특성을 자세히 분석하고, 비선형파의 경사 및 퓨리에 스펙트럼을 산정하였다. 분석결과 스펙트럼의 진폭은 실용적으로 추산이 가능한 파랑 경사를 이용하여 표현할 수 있다.

  • A district (Sae-Bong) and 13 district (Sae-Jang Dong) grassland could be divided into four type of Community: Miscanthus-Community, Glyceria-Community, Festuca-Community, and Plantago-Community. Chose 17 or 20 stands from each district A and B and calculated F.I. with the Curtis method, finally vegetational continuum could be recognized while discontinuous boundary line of species distribution could not be recognized. As a rule the distributional curve of species was binominal or bell shaped. It had a distribution pattern peculiar to itself. As to the relationship of cattles' density and vegetation. I found that the tendency of F.I. moving from small to large paralleled that of disturbance-pressure from weak to strong. Found that the more the steepness of environmental factors be controlled by a rule " from large to small", the more F.I. might be controlled by a rule "from small to large" and that pH, soil-moisture-content, loss on ignition was in relation with the steepness. with the steepness.

Motion Response Characteristics of Small Fishing Vessels of Different Sizes among Regular Waves

  • The motion of small fishing vessels is significantly affected by small waves, leading to accidents, such as capsizing or sinking. This paper presents the results of two types of basin tests. The first test analyzed the characteristics of roll and pitch motions among regular waves with the same wave steepness using the drifting state of three (3G/T, 7G/T, 10G/T) small fishing vessels. The second test analyzed the motion characteristics of the 7G/T fishing vessel under different wave steepness. The first test showed that heave and roll motions are significant in the beam sea, while pitch motion is significant in the bow and stern seas. The second test shows that wave steepness has a linear relationship with roll and pitch motions in the bow and stern seas.

파고와 파형경사의 상관성을 고려한 피복석의 신뢰성 해석 및 부분안전계수 산정 (Reliability Analysis and Evaluation of Partial Safety Factors of Breakwater Armor stones Considering Correlation between Wave Height and Wave Steepness)

  • 지금까지 연구된 피복석의 부분안전계수는 각 확률변수가 독립이라고 가정하여 계산하였다. 하지만 피복석의 안정공식 중 van der Meer 공식에서 파형경사와 파고는 독립이 아니며 상관성을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이들의 상관성을 고려한 부분안전계수를 산정하였고 이를 상관성을 고려하지 않은 다른 연구자들의 결과와 비교하였다. 파고와 파형경사의 상관성은 주기의 변동성과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 주기의 변동성이 작아짐에 따라 파고와 파형경사의 상관성은 커지며, 상관성 고려 여부에 따른 계산 결과의 차이가 커진다. 따라서 주기의 변동성이 작은 지역에서는 상관성을 충분히 검토하여 부분안전계수를 산정해야 할 것이다.
