GC-MS에 의한 오갈피나무 분류군과 청송 변종의 주요 성분 비교 (Comarison of Major Constituents in Acanthopanax Taxa and Variety Cheongsong in Korea by GC-MS)

  • 오갈피나무속 식물종은 주로 동아시아에 분포하는 다년생 목본류이다. 이 속의 식물 종은 한국에서 약 6종으로 알려져 있으며 일부 종은 약용으로 사용되어 경제적으로 매우 중요하다. 청송변종은 청송에서 100년 이상 재배되고 있는데 그 기원이 불분명하여 주요 생화학적 성분을 GC-MS로 분석하여 다른 종과 비교하였다. 분석한 화학성분 중 19개가 청송변종에 특이하였는데 $\beta$-caryophyllene, hexadecanoic acid, 그리고 ethyl stearate 등이다. 청송변종은 오갈피나무와 비록 일부 성분에 있어 차이가 나지만 전체적인 분류학적 위상에서 다른 종에 비해 가장 유사하여 오갈피나무에서 분지한 것으로 판단된다. 또 오갈피나무속 6종에 대한 성분 차이가 GC-MS로 잘 구분되어 화학성분에 의해 종간 차이가 있음이 밝혀졌다.

Leuconostoc mesenteroides 화장품의 융합 기술을 이용한 피부자극 연구 (Study on the skin stimulation of the Leuconostoc mesenteroides cosmetics's skin using convergence technology)

  • 두피 유래 유산균 Leuconostoc mesenteroides 추출물을 함유한 화장품을 인체 피부에 첩포하여 자극 유무를 검증하고 기초화장품의 소재로써 피부 안전성을 규명하고자 하였다. L. mesenteroides 추출물 1%와 PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil 0.6%를 함유한 토너와 L. mesenteroides 추출물 3%, Glyceryl Stearate 0.7%를 함유한 로션을 제조하였다. 제조한 토너는 32명, 로션은 33명의 연구대상자들의 등 부위에 각각 24시간 첩포하여 자극지수를 산출한 결과, 토너는 0.016점, 로션은 0점이 도출되어 모두 무자극으로 나타나 피부에 안전함을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 결과와 기존 선행연구에서 보고된 L. mesenteroides의 항산화, 항알레르기, 항염능 등을 미루어 보아 이는 저농도에서 기초화장품의 소재로 피부에 안전하고 기타 화장품에 적용 시 피부 무자극 소재로 연구 가치가 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • The effect of diluents and lubricants on the dissolution rate of lorazepam was studied. The results were as following. 1. An average order of dissolution rate can be stated as; lactose> avicel> starch> kaolin. 2. The effects of lubicants is not significant generally but in the case of starch the dissolution rate is greatly effected by magnesium stearate.

  • A novel integrated method for increasing dissolved oxygen concentration in culture media has been developed. It involves adding hydrogen peroxide to the medium, which is then decomposed to oxygen and water by catalase and adding vegetable oil to the medium as antifoam agent and oxygen vector. A new apparatus for automated addition of hydrogen peroxide to the bioreactor to keep the dissolved oxygen concentration constant over the range $10-100%\;{\pm}\;5%$ was tested. A significant increase (over threefold) of cultivation time was obtained while the dissolved oxygen concentration remained stable ($30%\;{\pm}\;5%$). Therefore, use of corn oil mixed with Ca-stearate as oxygen vector and antifoam and hydrogen peroxide as oxygen source to control excessive foam that was generated by microorganism biosurfactant, GB16-BS produced at Bacillus sp. GB16 cultivation was appropriate for stable cultivation.

  • Solid dispersions were used to increase the dissolution rate of biphenyl dimethyl dicarboxylate (DDB) in water, with the ultimate goal of optimizing its bioavailability when incoporated into pharmaceuticals. Carriers used were Kollidon 30, Kollidon VA 64, 2-hydroxypropyl-${\beta}$-cyclodextrin (HPCD), sodium salicylate or sodium benzoate. DDB solid dispersions were prepared at drug to carrier proportions ranging from 1 : 5 to 1 : 20 (w/w) by solvent evaporation method. DDB tablets (7.5 mg) were prepared by compressing the powder mixture composed of solid dispersions, lactose, corn starch, crospovidone and magnesium stearate using a single-punch press. DDB capsules (7.5 mg) were prepared by filing the mixture into empty hard gelatin capsules (size #1). Dissolution studies of DDB from powdered solid dispersions, tablets and capsules were performed in 900 $m\ell$ of water at 100 rpm and 37$^{\circ}C$ by the paddle method. The dissolved amount was assayed by HPLC and expressed as the mean(%)of three determinations.

효소정제의 붕해에 미치는 첨가제의 영향 (Effect of Additives on Disintegration of Enzyme Tablets)

  • In case of the slowly disintegrating tablets such as enzyme preparations, disintegration time (DT) may be the important factor in formulating those preparations. The effects of tablet hardness, lubricants and disintegrants on DT were investigated in this approach. Disintegration time was significantly affected by disintegrants, moderately by lubricants, but not by tablet hardness. The effect was in the order of magnesium stearate >talc, PEG, sodium benzoate in case of lubricants, and of Ac-Di-Sol>LHPC>Primogel >Kollidon in case of disintegrants. Because lubricants and disintegrants influenced the tablet hardness and DT profile showed complicated pattern, it should be remembered that all factors mentioned above should be simultaneously considered in the formulation of enzyme tablets.

  • 본 기초연구에서는 Langmuir-Blodgett technique의 기술현황을 정리하고 기본적인 증착조건에 관한 실험 및 증착된 막의 분석을 행하였다. Langmuir-Blodgett technique은 유기물을 nm정도까지 얇고 균일하게 입힐 수 있는 장점이 있기 때문에 tunneling barrier로서 전자소자에 응용 가능성이 높고, 분자의 배열을 조절할 수 있는 능력을 이용하여 2차 비선형계수를 이용한 광학소자에 높은 잠재력을 지니고 있다. 이 성질을 이용하기 위하여 Ba stearate 와 pentacosa diynoic acid막을 이용하여 기본적인 실험을 하고 그 막을 XRD와 ellipsometer 그리고 Nomarsky 현미경 등을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 LB막은 subphase의 pH와 온도의 영향을 받음을 알 수 있었으며, 위의 분석방법을 이용하여 양질의 막을 얻을 수 있는 조건을 제시하였다.

  • A high performance liquid chromatographic procedure is described for the direct determination of the picomole amount of palmitoyl-Coenzyme A and stearoyl-Coenzyme A, using a stainless steel column packed with C-18 derivatized porous silica ($5{\mu}m$), an isocratic elution with a mixture of 33 mM $KH_2PO_4$/acetonitrile as a mobile phase and a UV detector. The long-chain acyl-Coenzyme A esters were determined in incubated microsomal fractions of a bovine liver to demonstrate the utility of this method for monitoring acyl-CoA synthesis in biological samples. The reaction rate of palmitate was higher than that of stearate. After a 60 minute incubation period, the generated amount of palmitoyl-Coenzyme A and stearoyl-Coenzyme A were approximately 70 and 20 n mol/mg micresomal protein, respectively. The advantage of this method are in that no decomposition of the CoA esters is involved, while the constituent molecular species is detected.

  • The static charges are generated by streaming electrification phenomena in insulating oil flowing by force for the purpose of cooling at the internal of Ultra-high power transformer. In this thesis, their elimination method was studied. In this paper the effect of Additive on the electric conductivity of Insulating oil is studied. The variation of electric conductivity disappear when Additive is molten in insulating oil BTA(Benzotriazole) appear more variation of electric conductivity than that of SP-S10(Sorbitan mono-stearate). But the variation is not enough to decrease streaming electrification of insulating oil($\sigma$>10$\^$-12/[S/cm]).

Synthesis of Novel Morpholine Appended Crystal violet lactone Derivatives and an Investigation of Their Thermochromic Behavior

  • In the present study, three morpholine substituted crystal violet lactone (CVL) have been synthesized to monitor the thermochromic property. This work is explaining the role of substituent on the lactone ring. The methyl substituents induced greater chromic effects than the chloro substituents. Furthermore, the three-component mixtures that contained CVL, bisphenol-A, and methyl stearate were used to analyse the thermochromic effect of the CVLs as bulk samples with various temperature. The thermochromic properties of the CVLs were evaluated using solid-state UV-Vis and FT-IR spectroscopic techniques. Finally, one of the synthesized CVL has been successfully converted into the form of a test paper similar to pH paper for use as thermal indicators.
