하중 적분 PDC와 T-S 퍼지 외란 관측기를 이용한 이동 로봇의 강인 궤도 추적 제어 (Robust Trajectory Tracking Control of a Mobile Robot Based on Weighted Integral PDC and T-S Fuzzy Disturbance Observer)

  • 본 논문에서는 하중 적분 PDC 제어 기법과 T-S 퍼지 외란 관측기를 이용한 강인하면서도 보다 정확한 이동 로봇의 궤도 추적 제어 방법을 제안한다. 하중 적분 PDC 제어 기법은 PDC 제어 기법에 하중 적분 항을 추가함으로써 정상상태 오차를 감소시켜 준다. T-S 퍼지 외란 관측기는 T-S 퍼지 모델로 표현된 비선형 시스템에 대해 외란을 추정하고 상쇄시킬 수 있도록 한다. 따라서, T-S 퍼지 외란 관측기에 기반한 궤도 추적 제어기는 강인한 궤도 추적 성능을 보여준다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 $B\acute{e}zier$ 곡선에 의한 가속도 제한을 갖는 경로 설계 방법에 의해 초기 접근 경로를 설계함으로써, 이동 로봇의 초기 위치가 기준 궤도의 초기 위치와 다를 때 제어 입력이 매우 커지게 되어 실제적으로 사용할 수 없게 되는 문제를 해결한다. 제안된 궤도 추적 제어기의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통해서 입증하였다.

PLL 알고리즘을 사용한 단상 및 3상 계통연계형 인버터의 동기화 기법 (Synchronization Techniques for Single-Phase and Three-Phase Grid Connected Inverters using PLL Algorithm)

  • 태양광 발전시스템 등에서 전력을 공급하기 위한 계통연계 인버터에서 계통전압의 동기화를 위하여 PLL시스템이 많이 사용되어 왔다. 본 논문은 단상 및 3상 계통연계 인버터의 동기화 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 루프필터 및 PI 제어기가 없는 PLL 알고리즘을 제시한다. 단상 또는 3상 계통전압으로 유도한 2상 전압을 사용하여 위상 검출기 출력이 직류성분만 있으면서 동기화되었을 때 0이 되도록 궤환신호를 결정한다. 소신호 해석방법으로 비례제어기를 사용한 PLL시스템을 모델링하여 안정도 및 정상상태 오차를 관찰한다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험결과를 통하여 제시한 PLL알고리즘의 타당성을 확인한다.

  • Activated sludge processes are widely used in biological wastewater treatment processes. The main motivation of this research is to develop an intelligent control strategy for activated sludge process (ASP). ASP is a complex and nonlinear dynamic system because of the characteristic of wastewater, the change in influent rate, weather conditions, and so on. The mathematical model of ASP also includes uncertainties which are ignored or not considered by process engineer or controller designer. The ASP model based on Matlab/Simulink is designed in this paper. The performance of the model is tested by IWA (International Water Association) and COST (European Cooperation in the filed of Scientific and Technical Research) data that include steady-state results during 14 days. In this paper, fuzzy logic control approach is applied to control the DO (dissolved oxygen) concentration. The fuzzy logic controller that includes two inputs and one output can adjust air flowrate. Also, this paper introduces the remote monitoring and control system that is applied for the CSTR (Continuously Stirred Tank Reactor) wastewater treatment system. The CSTR plant has a local control and the remote monitoring system which is contained communication parts which consist of LAN (Local Area Network) network and CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) wireless module. Remote control and monitoring systems are constructed in the laboratory.

  • Optimal efficiency control of synchronous reluctance motor(SynRM) is very important in the sense of energy saving and conservation of natural environment because the efficiency of the SynRM is generally lower than that of other types of AC motors. This paper is proposed an efficiency optimization control for the SynRM which minimizes the copper and iron losses. The design of the speed controller based on fuzzy-neural networks (FN)-PI controller that is implemented using fuzzy control and neural networks. There exists a variety of combinations of d and q-axis current which provide a specific motor torque. The objective of the efficiency optimization control is to seek a combination of d and q-axis current components, which provides minimum losses at a certain operating point in steady state. It is shown that the current components which directly govern the torque production have been very well regulated by the efficiency optimization control scheme. The proposed algorithm allows the electromagnetic losses In variable speed and torque drives to be reduced while keeping good torque control dynamics. The control performance of the proposed controller is evaluated by analysis for various operating conditions. Analysis results are presented to show the validity of the proposed algorithm.

저온저장고 내부의 균일한 온도분포를 위한 3차원 공기유동 분석 (3-D Simulation of Air Flow in Cold Storage Room for Uniform Temperature Distribution)

  • Most of the domestic cold storage rooms are inefficient for agricultural products because of temperature gradients inside the storage rooms. Temperature gradients are developed mainly by improper airflow pattern inside the storage room, which is a main cause of the spoilage of the agricultural products. There proper airflow pattern is essential to minimize these temperature gradients and the spoilage. The performance and characteristics of a cold storage room were determined as a function of airflow pattern and temperature distribution in forced circulation cold storage room. A commercial CFD(computational fluid dynamics) code was used to simulate 3-D airflow in the cold storage room. Solving the flow equations for the storage room, a standard k-$\varepsilon$ turbulent model was implemented to calculate steady state turbulent velocity distribution. The CFD prediction results were compared with temperature measurements inside the cold storage room. In case of pallet storage, Temperature gradients inside pallet storage was reduced because the contact area of cold air expanded through an alley of airflow in storage. But is case of bulk storage, the last temperature of storage considerably rose more than the initial temperature of storage. The reason was that bulk storage didn't include any alley of airflow in storage.

채널추정기를 이용한 등화기 결정오류 정정 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Correction of The Channel Equalizer Decision Error Using Channel Estimator)

  • 대역이 제한되거나 채널분산이 존재하는 매체를 통해 메시지를 전송하는 과정은 불가피하게 신호왜곡과 잡음유입을 수반하며 결과적으로 심볼간 간섭과 부가잡음에 의해 전송품질이 열화 되어 수신심볼 오율을 증가시키게 된다. 적응 등화기의 역할은 전송 메시지를 복원하기 위해 등화기 수신단에 입력되는 수신신호로부터 채널왜곡 성분과 잡음을 제거하는 일이다. 이를 위해 일반적으로 선형필터부와 심볼 결정기의 조합으로 구성되는 등화기에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어져 왔고 전방향 오류정정부호화과 결합하여 디지털 정보통신 분야에 필수적인 전송효율 제고에 핵심적인 역할을 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 등화기 출력인 메시지 심볼에 잔존하는 심볼오류를 추가적으로 정정할 새로운 알고리즘을 제안하였는데 일반적으로 등화기 성능개선 알고리즘들이 등화 초기 수렴속도나 정상상태오차를 개선하는 방향으로 진행되어 오고 있는 반면, 본 논문에서는 등화기 결정심볼과 전송채널 추정값을 이용하여 등화기 입력신호를 재구성하고 실제 입력신호와의 오차신호를 구한 후 이에 대한 통계적 특성을 분석해 직접적으로 오류정정을 수행하는 새로운 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

  • 인버터를 적용한 유압식 시스템은 펌프의 마찰과 실린더 패킹 및 탑승 카와 레일의 마찰특성으로 인하여 PID 제어기로는 제어가 되지 않는 데드 존이 생기게 된다. 본 논문에서는, 우선 유압시스템으로 구동되는 유압식 시스템의 극저속 속도영역(zero-crossing)에서 속도가 제어되지 않는 원인이 되는 실린더의 마찰특성을 고찰하고, 이러한 실린더의 마찰특성으로 인하여 기존의 PID 속도제어기로 제어 시 발생되는 문제점을 해결하기 위한 줌잉 퍼지 룰을 포함한 퍼지제어기를 설계한다. 마지막으로, 설계된 퍼지제어기와 기존의 PID 제어기를 결합하여 보다 성능이 향상된 하이브리드 퍼지제어기를 설계한다. 제안된 하이브리드 퍼지제어기는 정속주행구간에서는 정상상태제어성능이 우수한 PID 제어기를 적용하고 PID제어기로 제어되지 않는 극저속 속도구간에서는 퍼지제어기를 적용하여 유압식 시스템이 실린더의 마찰특성으로 인하여 극저속 속도영역(zero-crossing)에서 속도가 제어되지 않는 문제를 해결하고, 극저속 영역에서 뿐 아니라 정상상태를 포함한 전 운전영역에서의 제어성능이 우수함을 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 보인다.

  • This paper deals with error compensation in current transformers. Since the exciting current can be considered as the main error source, its evaluation can allow the compensation of its detrimental effects to be obtained. The exciting current required by the transformer in every king of steady state operation can be determined by simply acquiring the secondary current, provided that the examined CT has been preliminarily identified. This paper also proposed a new approach to the model of the exciting branch. The exciting branch can be divided into a non-linear core loss resistor, and a non-linear magnetizing inductor whose flux and current characteristic is not the same as the characteristic shown by the joined tips of the first quadrant of a family of hysteresis loops. The performance of the proposed algorithm was validated under various conditions using EMTP generated data. Test result show, in all cases an improvement in primary current reproduction accuracy, compared with that achieved using CT's ratio.

Development of Cr cold spray-coated fuel cladding with enhanced accident tolerance

  • Accident-tolerant fuels (ATFs) are currently of high interest to researchers in the nuclear industry and in governmental and international organizations. One widely studied accident-tolerant fuel concept is multilayer cladding (also known as coated cladding). This concept is based on a traditional Zr-based alloy (Zircaloy-4, M5, E110, ZIRLO etc.) serving as a substrate. Different protective materials are applied to the substrate surface by various techniques, thus enhancing the accident tolerance of the fuel. This study focuses on the results of testing of Zircaloy-4 coated with pure chromium metal using the cold spray (CS) technique. In comparison with other deposition methods, e.g., Physical vapor deposition (PVD), laser coating, or Chemical vapor deposition techniques (CVD), the CS technique is more cost efficient due to lower energy consumption and high deposition rates, making it more suitable for industry-scale production. The Cr-coated samples were tested at different conditions ($500^{\circ}C$ steam, $1200^{\circ}C$ steam, and Pressurized water reactor (PWR) pressurization test) and were precharacterized and postcharacterized by various techniques, such as scanning electron microscopy, Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), or nanoindentation; results are discussed. Results of the steady-state fuel performance simulations using the Bison code predicted the concept's feasibility. It is concluded that CS Cr coating has high potential benefits but requires further optimization and out-of-pile and in-pile testing.

$\mu$-설계법에 의한 저속 박용디젤기관의 속도제어기 설계 (A speed controller design for low speed marine diesel engine by the $\mu$-synthesis)

  • In the field of marine transportation the energy saving is one of the most important factors for profit. In order to reduce the fuel oil consumption the ship's propulsion efficiency must be increased as much as possible. The propulsion efficiency depends upon a combination of an engine and a propeller. The propeller has better efficiency as lower rotational speed. This situation led the engine manufacturers to design the engine that has lower speed, longer stroke and a small number of cylinders. Consequently the variation of rotational torque became larger than before because of the longer delay-time in the fuel oil injection process and an increased output per cylinder. As this new trends the conventional mechanical-hydrualic governors for engine speed control have been replaced by digital speed controllers which adopted the PID control or the optimal control algorithm. But these control algorithms have not enough robustness to suppress the variation of the delay-time and the parameter pertubation. In this paper we consider the delay-time and the perturbation of engine parameters as the modeling uncetainties. Next we design the controller which has zero offset in steady state engine speed, based on the two-degree-of-freedom control theory and $\mu$-synthesis. Thd validity of the controller is investigated through the response simulation. We use a personal computer and an analog computer as the digital controller and the engine (plant) part respectively. And, we certify that the designed controller maintains its performance even though the engine parameters may vary.
