This study focuses on the data schema and data content, which includes maintenance data, data structures and illustration data relevant with the maintenance process of ship and offshore structures. Product lifecycle management (PLM) is expected to encompass all the product data generated for the operation and maintenance information as well as the design and production. This paper introduces a data exchange schema in PLM of ship and offshore, serving as the basis for the role of standards required by the middle-of-life PLM. Also this paper identifies a typology of standards relevant to PLM that addresses the schema of evolving standards and identifies a XML schema supporting the exchange of data related with maintenance operations. Technical document based on standards in accordance with S1000D and Shipdex is explained. A case study illustrating the use of standard data exchange and technical document is presented.

본 논문에서는 네트워크를 통한 전자도서관 구축을 활성화하며 도서관 정보자원의 공동 활용을 증진시키기 위해 OSI표준인 정보검색 프로토콜과 도서관 상호대차 프로토콜의 구현 방안을 제시하고 있다. 정보검색 응용 프로토콜로는 미국의 표준인 Z39.50과 ISO 표준인 SR에 관해 그 기능과 구현사례를 중심으로 살펴보고, 도서관 상호대차 응용 프로토콜로는 ISO표준인 ILL프로토콜과 Z39.50의 자료주문 확장서비스에 관해 살펴보았다. 도서관 자동화 패키지 시스템 판매업체나 각 도서관은 정보검색 표준 프로토콜을 구현한 OPAC시스템을 개발함으로써 국내외 타 도서관의 온라인 목록을 손쉽게 탐색할 수 있도록 하며, 이와 함께 도서관 상호대차 표준 프로토콜을 구현한 상호대차 시스템을 구축함으로써 온라인 목록 탐색과 원문 주문/전달기능을 통합하여 탐색후 즉각적인 원문주문과 전달이 가능하도록 해야 할 것이다.

XML은 웹 데이터의 표현과 정보교환을 위한 표준이다. XML의 급격한 사용증가로 인하여 XML 저장 관리 시스템 및 XML 문서의 변화에 자동으로 대응할 수 있는 규칙기반의 기술개발에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 능동 규칙은 사건, 조건, 조치로 구성되며 데이터베이스의 상태 변화에 자동으로 대응할 수 있는 특성이 있으므로 이러한 요구를 충족시킨다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 XML 문서를 자동으로 관리하기 위한 XML 기반의 능동 규칙 언어를 제안하고 이 규칙언어로 정의되는 능동 규칙에 대한 종료 분석 방법을 제시한다. 아울러 XML 문서의 능동적 관리를 위한 규칙의 적용 사례를 제시하고 분석 방법의 효율성에 대해 검증한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to propose a standard form of noise filter drawing, which is widely used in the field of weapon systems, to define the essential specification which is not standardized at the existing drawings and to employ the reference for manufacturing and qualification test. Methods: To do that, it identifies the improvements to analyze 19 noise filter drawings, studies the principle of noise filtering to find the essential part of the spec. and reviews the MIL-STD-220C and KS IEC 60939, which is the widely used as a formal spec. pertaining to the noise filter. Throughout the study, a standard form is developed to standardize the attenuation characteristics and find eight crucial metrics to specify the noise filter. Results: The results of this study are as follows; The standardized drawings can be used as the qualification test of the item and the manufacturing and engineering documents to make the noise filter, which are also applicable to the reference document to review KDS(Korea Defense Standard) drawings.

The explosive growth of the Web is providing end-users access to ever-increasing volumes of information. The resources of legacy systems and relational databases have also been made available to the Web browser, which has become an essential business tool. Recently, model management on the Internet/Web is also proposed with its conceptual design or prototypical system like DecisionNet and DSS Web. However, they are also suffering from the same symptoms as the Web, Although we can identify the elements of a page with HTML tags and (declare) the relationships among the various document elements, they are semantically opaque to computer systems and have no domain-specific meaning. However, HTML is not extensible, so developers are forced to invent convoluted, non-standard solutions for embedding and parsing data. Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simplified subset of SGML that has many benefits for folks who want to improve structure, maintainability, searchability, presentation, and other aspects of their document management. This paper proposes a structured markup language for model representation and management on the Web as an XML application. The language is based on a conceptual modeling framework, Object-Oriented Structured Modeling (OOSM), which is an extension of the structured modeling.

최근에 인터넷의 급속한 발전과 더불어 대량의 정보를 효과적으로 표현 및 교환할 수 있는 새로운 데이터 표준으로 XML (extensible Markup Language)이 제안되었으며, XML 문서에 대한 저장과 인덱싱에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 XML 문서 처리에 효율적인 주기억장치 기반의 XML 전용 저장 시스템을 설계하고, 사용자 질의에 포함된 엘리먼트 타입 정보를 이용하여 XML 문서트리에 대한 순회를 최소화시킬 수 있는 구조적 검색 기법을 설계한다 또한, 엘리먼트의 삭제 및 삽입 등 동적인 변경에 빠르고 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 인덱스 구조와, 링크 정보를 가지고 있는 XML 문서의 질의 처리를 위해 XLink 표준을 준수하여 테이블 형식의 링크 정보 인덱스 구조를 설계한다.

XML(Extensible Markup Language)은 인터넷 상에서 데이터 표현과 교환을 위한 표준으로 자리 잡고 있다. 웹의 발전과 함께 XML문서들이 정보 검색, 문서 관리, 데이터 마이닝 등의 응용에서 폭 넓게 사용되면서 구조적으로 정보가 풍부한 이러한 문서들을 자동으로 처리하고 검색하는 기술들이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 XML 문서 의 구조와 내용을 고려하여 유사한 문서들을 검색하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. XML 문서의 구조적 유사성은 간단한 스트링 매칭 기법으로 찾고, 문서 내용의 유사성은 문서 요소(element)들의 이름과 경로를 고려한 가중치를 통해 찾는 방법으로 전체의 시간 복잡도는 비교되는 두 문서의 크기에 선형적으로 비례한다.

In e-Marketplace, many companies are participating frequently either as supplier or as customer. Thus, electronic processing of transactions and flexible integration with participating companies' processes are required. These situation requires process integration using workflow and the exchange of transaction document using XML(eXtensible Markup Language). This paper presents methodologies to model business processes in e-Marketplace where many companies are participating and to exchange electronic messages using ebXML that have become a standard in electronic commerce. These methodologies can integrate and manage processes in electronic commerce environment, and can process ebXML standard documents efficiently, making electronic commerce more harmoniously in global market. The system constructed in this research supports business processes between companies by exchanging XML messages conforming Wf-XML and ebXML standards using SOAP protocol.

The personal health record platform can store and manage medical records, health-monitoring data such as blood pressure and blood sugar, and life logs generated from various wearable devices. It provides services such as international standard-based medical document management, data pattern analysis and an intelligent inference engine, and disease prediction and domain contents. This study aims to construct a foundation for the transmission of international standard-based medical documents by mapping the diagnosis items of a general health examination, special health examination, life logs, health data, and life habits with the international standard terminology systems. The results of mapping with international standard terminology systems show a high mapping rate of 95.6%, with 78.8% for LOINC, 10.3% for SNOMED, and 6.5% when mapped with both LOINC and SNOMED.

최근 SGML을 이용한 문서정보와 구축에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있으나, 현재 운영되고 있는 전자도서관에서는 기존의 출판물 문서를 이진 문서영상으로 스캐닝하여 사용자에게 그대로 서비스하는 방식을 이용하고 있다. 이때, 주로 200dpi로 스캐닝한 문서영상에 대하 TIFF 영상포맷에서의 ITU-T T.6 압축방법을 사용하여 제공하고 있는데, 이진 문서영상의 질 저하 현상과 낮은 압축율로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 문서영상 데이터베이스의 확장성 및 효용성과 서비스 질의 향상성을 고려하여, 문서영상의 스캐닝 해상도는 600dpi가 적당하며, 압축방법은 JBIG이 타당함을 제시하였다. 아울러, 사용자 장비인 모니터와 프린터를 통한 서비스의 특성을 분석하여 이진 문서영상의 해상도를 단계별로 높여 서비스하는 방안을 제시함으로써, JBIG의 단점인 과다한 복구시간 문제를 해결하였다. 대표적인 문서영상들에 대한 실험을 통해, JBIG의 높은 압축율 및 제시된 단계별 서비스 방안의 타당성을 확인하였다.
