일반 간호사의 직무 스트레스 반응에 대한 결정 요인 (A study on the determinants of job stress responses of the staff nurses)

  • Purpose : This paper was attempted to identify the job stress related factors among the staff nurses and to provide the basic data concerning development of stress management program focused on hospitals. Method : The subjects were 309 staff nurses at two general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected with self-reported questionnaires and analyzed by SPSS-PC+10.0 for descriptive analysis, ANOVA, stepwise multiple regression, factor analysis. Results : The subjects exhibit significantly highest level of 'the participation in decision making factor'. The mean score of 'control coping strategies' was higher than 'avoid coping strategies'. The mean scores of social support and stress responses were high. The main factor that affected the stress responses was 'the job characteristic factor' and it was explained 23.0% out of the total variance of the stress responses. Also, it would be explained 42.6% out of the total variance of the stress responses with 'the control coping strategies, work overload factors, social support, and participation in decision making factors'. Conclusion: For developing the hospital- focused stress management program for staff nurses, 'the participation in decision making factors' and 'the job characteristics' should be considered. Also, the organizational efforts and supports should be required to support and use of 'control coping strategies' of nurses

워크샘플링에 의한 학교급식 전담직원의 직무분석 (Work Measurement of Dietetic Staff through Work Sampling Methodology in School Foodservice Systems)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the standard work time of dietetic staff through work sampling methodology in school flood service systems. Work measurement through work sampling methodology was conducted in five conventional, five commissary and five joint management flood service systems over two consecutive weeks in October 1999. Statistical analysis was performed on the SAS/Win 6.12 package program for Kruskal-Wallis test and multiple comparison. Observed data were satisfied with a confidence level of 95% and a confidence interval of $\pm$ 0.05. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. The actual time spent by dietetic staff members in conventional, commissary, joint-management flood servile systems was 2,394, 2,521 and 2,110 minutes per week, respectively. Transportation time of each flood service systeml and ILO allowance rate (11%) was applied. Thus, the standard work time per week of dietetic staff members in conventional, commissary, joint-management flood service systems was 2,746.14, 2,861.58 and 2,520.81 minutes, respectively. The standardized index was 1.04, 1.08 and 0.95 men in conventional, commissary, and joint-management flood service systems, respectively. Regardless of the school flood service system, those with "the duty of cooking and distribution management" had the longest labor time, while those with "duty of nutritional education" had the shortest labor time.

고용형태에 따른 직무정체성, 공직봉사동기 및 조직충성도에 대한 연구 : 공항 특수경비원들의 인식을 중심으로 (A Study for the Perception of Job Identity, Public Service Motivation and Organizational Committment focusing on Airport Security Agents)

  • Airport security staff are outsourced workers, whose status is a special security agent under the security service law in Republic of Korea, who are subject to persuing both profitability and public concern at the same time. This paper has chosen the sample of security staff working at Incheon airport. This is because airport security staff is being outsourced, this paper had made an empirical research such areas as the perception of job identity, public service motivation and organizational commitment through job satisfaction. According to statistical research, it was found the perception on job identity by airport security staff had a significant negative effect on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The more they have perceived their status as non-permanent status, the less they had job satisfaction and commitment at the same time as a special security agent at airport. Their perception of job identity had a significant effect on such public service motivation factors as 'absorbing public concern' and 'a solicitude'. Lastly, their motivation factors had also significant positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

항공사 조직구성원의 항공안전과 항공보안에 대한 상충적 태도가 조직효과성에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Airline Staff's Contradictory Attitude between Aviation Safety and Aviation Security to Organizational Effectiveness)

  • This paper has studied the effect of airline staff's perception on both aviation safety and aviation security to their organizational effectiveness. Airline staff's perception on aviation safety is different from that on aviation security due to organizational difference in an airline. Through an empirical analysis, it was analyzed the effect of such perceptional difference on airline's organizational effectiveness. According to the analysis, it was found the perception of aviation safety has a significant positive effect on organizational effectiveness. Airline staff believed the safety is a core value of an airline and emphasizing the safety never impeded the airline's operation including service quality. Secondly, it was proven the perception on abiding by aviation security rules had a significant negative effect on organizational effectiveness. However, emphasizing aviation security had a very significant positive contribution on airline's philosophy of aviation safety. Following the research results, it was suggested an airline look for improving the process and regulations to deal with aviation security in the organization.

치매요양시설 디자인에 대한 시설근무자의 평가 및 요구 - 부산시 D 치매노인 전문병원을 중심으로 - (Design Evaluation and Needs of the Staff for Nursing Home for the Dementia - Focused on D hospital for the Elderly with Dementia -)

  • The demands of nursing home for the dementia are rapidly increasing. However, there are no enough nursing homes and design guidelines for it. This study was intended to examine the needs of the staff for the nursing home design and suggest the design guidelines of the Korean nursing home for the dementia. The subjects were 15 nurses and 18 care givers who worked in D hospital for the elderly with dementia in Busan. Data were collected by the self-administered questionnaire. The findings were as follows; First, the most important design element in nursing home for the dementia which the staff mentioned was 'healing environment' and then 'function' and 'maintenance' Second, the care-givers were more satisfied with their facility design than the nurses. Third, the staff pointed out that 'the relation between individual room and nursing station', namely, short distance between them, and 'enough wandering space' had to be considered at first in design process of nursing home with dementia. Also, the comfort and intimate interior mood, fresh air and sunlight were also pointed out as the important elements in nursing home design for the dementia.

도서관의 근무환경과 근무조건이 직원의 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Working Environment and Conditions on the Job Satisfactions of Librarians)

  • 이 연구에서는 K도서관의 100명의 직원을 대상으로 근무환경 및 근무조건(직무상 협력, 근무조건 업무스트레스 급여 및 보상체계, 성취감)이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 아울러 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 차이도 함께 분석하였다. 분석 결과 업무스트레스 급여 및 보상체계, 성취감의 경우 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 근무환경 및 근무조건에서 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 직무만족도는 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 근무환경 및 근무조건 중 직무상 협력, 성취감이 직무만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구는 축제 운영요원의 내부만족이 방문객 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구의 목적은 축제 방문객 만족도 향상을 위한 마케팅 전략수립의 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구결과, 축제 운영요원의 내부만족은 지역문화이해도 증진, 행사장 쾌적성, 휴식 공간 만족도, 안내시설 편리성 등의 방문객 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 축제 운영요원의 내부만족이 방문객의 축제만족도에 영향을 미친다는 것을 분석한 학문적의의와 축제 마케팅 담당자들에게 고객만족경영을 위한 새로운 기초정보를 제공한다는 실무적 의의가 있다.

  • 정보통신 표준화기구는 일반 사기업 또는 공공단체와는 다른 독특한 조직 구조와 특성을 가지고 있다. 조직구조상으로는 조직 이론상의 Adhocracy와 가장 유사하다 할 수 있으나, Line과 Staff의 명확한 역할구분과 같은 다소 상이한 특유의 조직형태를 취하고 있다. 또한, 결과물(표준) 도출 과정을 규정한 작업방법(working methods), 외부환경의 변화를 수용하는 유연한 조직체계, 그리고 Line과 Staff 인력 구성의 2원화 둥이 차별적 특성의 예로 들 수 있다. 본 논문은 표준화 조직의 특징을 경영학적 관점에서 구체적으로 분석하고 효율적인 조직설계를 위한 함의를 도출하고자 한다.

스트레스 관리 프로그램이 호텔조리사의 직무스트레스에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Stress Management Program on Job Stress in a Hotel Culinary Staff)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of a stress management program on Job Stress in culinary staff at a Hotel. Method: This was a quasi-experimental study using non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 52 culinary staff members(head culinary. first culinary) working at a S hotel. (25 in the experimental group. 27 in the control group) The experimental group was provided with an individual counseling program for 12 weeks and 30 min/week. The control group was provided with booklets. Data were analyzed with SAS Program using repeated measures ANOVA. Results: The stress management program was effective to improve job stressors and especially to relax interpersonal conflict among the sub-factors of job stress based on the results mentioned above. Conclusion: This program was effective in reducing job stress. However. further studies are required to measure persistent and long-term effects through the application of the program. which is specifically designed for reduce to job stress. for over 12 weeks.

입원아동 돌봄을 위한 가족중심 순회의 통합적 고찰 (An Integrative Review on Family-Centered Rounds for Hospitalized Children Caring)

  • Purpose: Involvement of families in rounds is one strategy to implement patient- and family-centered care to help families get clear information about their child, and be actively involved in decision making. The purpose of this paper was to identify the major concepts of family-centered rounds for hospitalized children. Methods: We searched five electronic databases for relevant articles and used Whittemore and Knafl's integrative review methods to synthesize the literature. Articles published between June 2003 and January 2016 were reviewed and through full text screening 24 peer-reviewed articles were found that met the selection criteria for this review. Results: Through in-depth discussion and investigation of the relevant literature, four overarching components emerged: (a) cognition of parents and medical staff, (b) effective communication, (c) collaboration of family and medical staff, (d) coaching of medical staff. Conclusion: For successful family-centered rounds positive cognition is important. Appropriate communication skills and consideration of multi-cultural family can lead to effective communication. Offering consistent and transparent information is important for collaboration between family and medical staff. Prior education on family-centered rounds is also important. Four major components have been identified as basic standards for implementing family-centered rounds for hospitalized children.
