It has been true that major investment among local business hotels were placed in furniture design character as there are increasing number of international events hosted by Korea. The study, under these circumstances, as a study In advance to see the design feature and trend of local business hotel's guest room furniture, has done interview with guest room manager, photographing of rooms, actual survey for analysing guest room plane surface, etc., researcher directly visiting 15 hotels that have special first grade businessmen only floor in Seoul. In addition, a survey has been done to know if each hotel room and furniture has particular image, from this survey the design feature of local business hotel's guest room has been analysed, and the result is as following. The result shows that similar pattern is applied in furniture placement of each guest room but for the furniture type and design concept, some try to re-design of wooden furniture available in Lee dynasty and others adopt European style like France and United Kingdom for the realization of semi-classic image. Typical material and color is red oak and maple.

This article aimed at change patterns of representations of male character and cinematic space in 2000s korean division films. The concept of division film is the unique particularity film in the narrative and representation about Korean division. The Gancheop is the special character of korean films and have been reproduced in a variety of ways. In the past, Korean films have been dealt with Korean Civil War and 'special nature' of inter-korean ties. But in the 2000s, the representation of Gancheop in films has begun to change and filmed in a variety of genres such like comedy, thriller, romance and so on. , , are consistent with close relationship of male characters. The relationship is represented as friend, brother, partner. The meaning of these changes symbolizes our concept of national unification.

Recently, a number of researches related to video annotation and representation have been proposed to analyze video for searching and abstraction. In this paper, we have presented a method to provide the picture elements of conversational participants in video and the enhanced representation of the characters using those elements, collectively called Character-net. Because conversational participants are decided as characters detected in a script holding time, the previous Character-net suffers serious limitation that some listeners could not be detected as the participants. The participants who complete the story in video are very important factor to understand the context of the conversation. The picture elements for detecting the conversational participants consist of six elements as follows: subtitle, scene, the order of appearance, characters' eyes, patterns, and lip motion. In this paper, we present how to use those elements for detecting conversational participants and how to improve the representation of the Character-net. We can detect the conversational participants accurately when the proposed elements combine together and satisfy the special conditions. The experimental evaluation shows that the proposed method brings significant advantages in terms of both improving the detection of the conversational participants and enhancing the representation of Character-net.

Originally the Interactive Activation Model(IAM) was developed to explain World Superiority Effect(WSE) in the English words. It is known that there is a similar phenomena in Korean characters. In other words people perceive a grapheme better when it is presented as a component of a character than when it is presented alone. We modified the original IAM to explain the Character Superiority Effect(CSE) for Korean characters. However it is also reported that the degree of CSE for Korean characters varies depending on the type of the character. Especially a component between components was reported to be hard to perceive even though it is in a context. It was supposed that this special phenomenon exists for CSE of Korean characters because Korean character is a two-dimensional composition of components(graphemes). And we could explain this phenomenon by introducing weights for the input stimulus which are calculated by taking into account the two-dimensional shape of the character.

Education is about sharing knowledge and using techniques and skills that can person's ability. the goal is to educate and develop people as a whole. In order to achieve this educational purpose efficiently, our society has many educational courses. The educational facility which can be used in a variety of educational methods should be made flexible. It should provide an environment in which ever student can grow. Being creative, using a variety of methods should help to develop character in people. In order to achieve this, the school's facilities should be future-oriented. It is necessary to research systemically about its changes and feed back according to the social demand, the educational purpose, and the changes of educational courses. This study is intended to present basic material which will be need from now on for the facility of the special classes in jeju city. Elementary schools should consider having a reasonable scale and arrangement pattern. The facility for special classes has to find a way to operate flexibly according to the changes of the class number.

In this study, we propose a new procedure for improving the character recognition of text area extracted from video images. The recognition of strings extracted from video, which are mixed with Hangul, English, numbers and special characters, etc., is more difficult than general character recognition because of various fonts and size, graphic forms of letters tilted image, disconnection, miscellaneous videos, tangency, characters of low definition, etc. We improved the recognition rate by taking commonly used letters and leaving out the barely used ones instead of recognizing all of the letters, and then using SVM and RDA character recognition methods. Our numerical results indicate that combining SVM and RDA performs better than other methods.

There has been some research into a speech system for communications between those who are hearing impaired and those who hear normally, but the system has been pursued in inefficient teaching ways in which existing teachers teach each individual due to social indifference and a lack of marketability. In order to overcome such a weakness, there appeared to be a need to develop contents utilizing 3D animation and digital technology. For the investigation of a standard face and a standard spherical shape for the preparation of a character, the study collected sufficient data concerning students in the third-sixth grades in elementary schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi, Korea, and drew up standards for a face and a spherical shape of such students. This data is not merely the basic data of content development for the hearing impaired, but it can also offer a standard measurement and a standard type realistically applicable to them. As a system for understanding conversations by applying 3D character animation and educating self-expression, the character speech animation system supports effective learning for language education for hearing impaired children who need language education within their families and in special education institutions with the combination of 3D technology and motion capture.

We have compared a special character(pressure of explosion, gas volume, energy of explosion, temperature of explosion, strength) of different three emulsion explosives which is different velocity by Nitrodyn program that is calculated explosion reaction. We have analyzed the character of the vibration from a vibration data which is a result from test blasting in different velocity of detonation for three emulsion explosives of the same size(17mm) in the same rock. As a result, the vibration is decreased when the velocity of detonation is decreased within 40m from origin of explosion but it is familiar character over 40m, so there isn't much affect the velocity of detonation in decreased vibration over 40m.

Symbol is one of the most profound ways to express the essence of human beings, as well as the most representative non-verbal communication medium. In this study, the descriptions of the clothing and ornaments of the main characters of the novel Little Women were excerpted from the Korean translation version. Based on the hidden symbols from the descriptions, after analyzing the characteristics of the main characters of the novel through their clothing and ornaments, the connection between the clothing and the symbols reflecting the internal workings of the mind was analyzed based on the previous theories on symbols. As proven in this study, since the clothing and ornaments directly symbolize the characteristics of the person, without any explicit statements about his/her characteristics, the clothing itself speaks volumes about them. Clothing is the most accurate visual symbol that speaks of the person's social, economic, and psychological aspects. The use of special clothing and ornaments or the highlight on certain parts reveals the characteristics of the character and his/her situations more effectively. In conclusion, literary, including novels well describes not only external factors, such as the social and cultural status of society and the character's economic situation, but also an individual's psychology such as his/her emotions and personalities. Therefore, the clothing that the character wears in a literary work symbolically reflects these factors.

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting job stress and relationship between dental hygienists personal characteristics and them. Final purpose of this study provides the basic data of dental hygienists interventions to help dental hygienists' job stress reduction program. Data were drawn from a convenient sample of 401 dental hygienists who were working for dental clinic, general hospitals, and university hospitals in Seoul and Kyungi areas. The results were analyzed with spsswin 10.0 and the conclusion is as follow: 1. General special quality distribution of dental hygienist is 25-59 and respondent who work in the dentist's office by maiden less than was most. 2. The dental hygienists' job stress was 2.68, it indicates considerably high compare to normal another groups. 3. 'By work, feel fatigue' appeared highest by 3.60 in 5 points full marks from item of business amount connection stress. 4. Only business amount connection stress was expose that is significant in relation with job stress and individual character type. 5. Age, dependent's number, faith, character type variable appeared to keep in mind for connection factor which influence in job stress. 6. Job stress connection factor by character type was expose by variable savages significant thing 'that do work year all as dental hygienist' in A type.
