Neighborhood Correlation Image Analysis for Change Detection Using Different Spatial Resolution Imagery

  • The characteristics of neighborhood correlation images for change detection were explored at different spatial resolution scales. Bi-temporal QuickBird datasets of Las Vegas, NV were used for the high spatial resolution image analysis, while bi-temporal Landsat $TM/ETM^{+}$ datasets of Suwon, South Korea were used for the mid spatial resolution analysis. The neighborhood correlation images consisting of three variables (correlation, slope, and intercept) were evaluated and compared between the two scales for change detection. The neighborhood correlation images created using the Landsat datasets resulted in somewhat different patterns from those using the QuickBird high spatial resolution imagery due to several reasons such as the impact of mixed pixels. Then, automated binary change detection was also performed using the single and multiple neighborhood correlation image variables for both spatial resolution image scales.

  • 본 논문에서는 공간 데이터 웨어하우스에서 시공간 분석지원을 위한 공간 데이터의 비중복 적재 기법을 제안한다. SDW는 이기종의 다양한 서비스를 지원하는 SDBMS로부터 공간 데이터를 추출한다. 제안 기법에서는 SOW에 소스로 참여하는 SDBMS에서 변경된 부분만을 추출하고, 이를 공간연산을 통해 중복된 데이터를 제거한 후 통합된 형태로 적재함으로써 빠른 공간 데이터 분석을 지원할 수 있으며, 저장 공간의 낭비를 줄일 수 있다. 이는 공간 마이닝등의 시간에 따른 분석 및 예측 분야에 효율적인 형태로 공간 데이터를 적재한다.

  • In recent years, mary studies for efact estimation of groudwater recharge has been performed. They can be categorized into three groups : analytical method by means of groundwater recession curve, water budget analysis based on watershed, and the method using groundwater model. Since groundwater recharge rate shows the spatial-temporal variability due to hydrogeological heterogeneity, existing studies have various limits to deal with these characteristics. The method of estimating daily recharge rate with spatial-temporal variation based on rainfall-runoff model is suggested in this study for this purpose. This method is expected to enhance existing indirect method by means of reflecting climatic conditions, land use and hydrogeological heterogeneity.

  • Diverse researches are working moving objects. The most important activities in a moving object database system are query and analysis of spatio -temporal data providing decision-making and problem solving support. Traditional spatial database query language and tools are inappropriate of the real world entities. This paper presents a spatio-temporal query and analysis tool with visual environment. It provides effective, interactive and user-friendly as well as statistic analysis. The moving objects database system stores plentiful moving objects data and performs spatio-temporal and nonspatio-temporal queries.

시공간자기회귀모형을 이용한 농지가격 결정요인 분석 (Analysis of Determinants of Farmland Price Using Spatio-temporal Autoregressive Model)

  • Farmland transaction prices are affected by various factors such as politics, society, and the economy. The purpose of this study is to identify multiple factors that affect the farmland transaction price due to changes in the actual transaction price of farmland by farmland unit from 2016 to 2020. There are several previous studies analyzed the determinants of farmland transaction prices by considering spatial dependency. However, in the case of land transactions where the time and space of the transaction affect simultaneously, if only spatial dependence is considered, there is a limitation in that it cannot reflect spatial dependence that occurs over time. In order to solve these limitations, To address these limitations, this study builds a spatio-temporal autoregressive model that simultaneously considers spatial and temporal dependencies using farmland transactions in Jinju City as an example. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that there was significant spatio-temporal dependence in farmland transactions within the previous 30 days. This means that if the previous farmland transaction was carried out at a high price, it has a spatio-temporal spillover effect that indirectly affects the increase in the price of other nearby farmland transactions. The study also found that various location attributes and socioeconomic attributes have a significant impact on farmland transaction prices. The spatio-temporal autoregressive model of farmland prices constructed in this study can be used to improve the prediction accuracy of farmland prices in the farmland transaction market in the future, and it is expected to be useful in drawing policy implications for stabilizing farmland prices

The Effects of Insoles for Postural Correction on Spatial-temporal Changes of Gait in Spastic Cerebral Palsy Children

  • Improvement in functional gait is one of treatment goals in treatment of cerebral palsy children. This study intended to examine the effects of insoles for postural correction on gait in spastic cerebral palsy patients by investigating changes in gait temporal spatial parameters. As the subjects, 15 spastic bilateral cerebral palsy patients participated in this study. Temporal spatial parameters of gait were measured using GAITRite system under three gait conditions. Bare foot gait, gait in shoes, and gait in insoles for postural correction were conducted. In order to look at differences in temporal spatial parameters according to three gait conditions, repeated one way analysis of variance was conducted. As post hoc test, Bonferroni was conducted. A significant level was set at ${\alpha}=.05$. According to the result of this study, gait velocity, cadence, step length, stride length of the left lower extremity significantly changed. When the subjects put on customized insoles for postural correction, the effect was greatest. There were no significant changes in stance time, single support time, double support time, swing % of gait, and stance % of cycle. Therefore, gait with insoles for postural correction positively influenced functional gait improvement and will be able to be usefully employed for spastic cerebral palsy children as one of gait assistance devices.

  • 기존의 패턴 탐사 기법들은 대부분 객체가 갖는 공간 정보의 연속적인 변화에 대한 패턴 탐사는 가능하나, 추출하고자 하는 패턴에 반드시 포함되어야 하는 공간 정보에 대한 제약이 없어 특정 지점들 사이의 최적 경로 탐색 문제나 단위기간 동안 이동 객체가 순회해야 하는 지점들에 대한 경로 예측 문제 등에 적용하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 Road Network 상의 특정한 지점들 사이를 이동한 객체의 위치 데이터들 중 최다 빈발 패턴과 시간 및 비용 등의 가중치를 복합적으로 고려하여 최적의 이동 경로를 탐색하는 방법(Spatial-Temporal Optimal Moving Pattern(with Frequency & Weight) algorithm)[13]을 이용하여, 공간 개념 계층에 따른 경로 탐색의 정확도를 분석한다. 분석의 결과는 패턴 탐사 과정에 있어 공간 제약을 적용하여 검색 데이터 범위를 축소함으로써 데이터베이스 검색 시간을 최소화함을 보이고, 또한 공간 추상 계층의 각 계층별 영역 내 포함여부를 고려함으로써 효율적으로 최적 이동 패턴을 탐색하여 제공하도록 한다.

Temporal and Spatial Traffic Analysis Based on Human Mobility for Energy Efficient Cellular Network

  • With the drastic growth of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry, global energy consumption is exponentially increased by mobile communications. The huge energy consumption and increased environmental awareness have triggered great interests on the research of dynamic distribution of cell user and traffic, and then designing the energy efficient cellular network. In this paper, we explore the temporal and spatial characteristics of human mobility and traffic distribution using real data set. The analysis results of cell traffic illustrate the tidal effect in temporal and spatial dimensions and obvious periodic characteristics which can be used to design Base Station (BS) dynamic with sleeping or shut-down strategy. At the same time, we designed a new Cell Zooming and BS cooperation mode. Through simulation experiments, we found that running in this mode can save about 35% of energy consumption and guarantee the required quality of service.

  • 홍보우편 서비스의 활성화와 효율적인 마케팅 캠페인을 위해서 GIS 및 시간/공간마이닝을 접목한 홍보우편 시스템을 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 정확한 고객선정을 위해서 순차/주기패턴을 이용한 구매 성향 정보와 RFM 분석 및 군집화 기법을 이용한 라이프스타일 군집 정보를 제공한다. 제안한 홍보우편 시스템을 통해 원청업체는 고객의 요구사항에 맞는 마케팅 캠페인이 가능하며, 온라인상에서 고객 선정, 홍보물 제작 및 배달까지의 "one-stop" 서비스가 가능하다.

  • 본 연구는 아파트 개별 실거래가격에 대한 시공간 자료를 활용하여 아파트 매매가격에 영향을 미치는 요인을 시계열적 흐름과 공간적 변화를 반영한 지리시간가중 회귀모형 (geographical temporal weighted regression; GTWR)모형을 적용하여 분석하였다. 기존 연구에서 활용되었던 일반적인 접근방법인 최소제곱 (ordinary least square; OLS) 회귀모형과 공간 데이터를 분석하기 위한 공간계량 모델 중 가장 많이 활용되고 있는 지리가중 회귀모형 (geographically weighted regression;GWR)과 달리 GTWR은 주택가격 특성을 고려함에 있어서 시간과 공간을 함께 고려함으로써 보다 정밀한 평가모형이 될 것으로 기대되었다. 본 연구에 사용된 주택가격결정 설명 요인들 중에서 건축연도 및 전용면적이 주택가격을 결정하는데 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 주택가격이 시간적 공간적 특성 모두에 의하여 유의적으로 설명되었다.
