Inorganic-organic hybrid perovskite solar cells have demonstrated considerable improvements, reaching 25.5% of certified power conversion efficiency in 2020 from 3.8% in 2009. In normal structured perovskite solar cells, TiO2 electron-transporting materials require heat treatment process at a high temperature over 450℃ to induce crystallinity. Inverted perovskite solar cells have also been studied to exclude the additional thermal process by using [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) as a non-oxide electron-transporting layer. However, the drawback of the PCBM layer is a charge accumulation at the interface between PCBM and a metal electrode. The impact of bathocuproin (BCP) buffer layer on photovoltaic performance has been investigated herein to solve the problem of PCBM. 2-mM BCP-modified perovskite solar cells were observed to exhibit a maximum efficiency of 12.03% compared with BCP-free counterparts (5.82%) due to the suppression of the charge accumulation at the PCBM-Au interface and the resulting reduction of the charge recombination between perovskite and the PCBM layer.
With the continued development of image processing technology, we live in a time when it is difficult to visually discriminate processed (or tampered) images from real images. However, as the risk of fake images being misused for crime increases, the importance of image forensic science for identifying fake images is emerging. Currently, various deep learning-based identifiers have been studied, but there are still many problems to be used in real situations. Due to the inherent characteristics of deep learning that strongly relies on given training data, it is very vulnerable to evaluating data that has never been viewed. Therefore, we try to find a way to improve generalization ability of deep learning-based fake image identifiers. First, images with various contents were added to the training dataset to resolve the over-fitting problem that the identifier can only classify real and fake images with specific contents but fails for those with other contents. Next, color spaces other than RGB were exploited. That is, fake image identification was attempted on color spaces not considered when creating fake images, such as HSV and YCbCr. Finally, dropout, which is commonly used for generalization of neural networks, was used. Through experimental results, it has been confirmed that the color space conversion to HSV is the best solution and its combination with the approach of increasing the training dataset significantly can greatly improve the accuracy and generalization ability of deep learning-based identifiers in identifying fake images that have never been seen before.

We report highly efficient quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) with TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) as an alternative electron transport layer (ETL) and poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) as an insulating layer. TiO2 NPs were applied as ETLs of inverted structured QLEDs and the effect of the addition of PMMA between ETL and emission layer (EML) on device characteristics was studied in detail. A thin PMMA layer supported to make the charge balance in the EML of QLEDs due to its insulating property, which limits electron injection effectively. Green QLEDs with a PMMA layer produced the maximum luminance of 112,488 cd/m2 and a current efficiency of 25.92 cd/A. We expect the extended application of TiO2 NPs as the electron transport layer in inverted structured QLEDs device in the near future.

The number of traffic accidents caused by wet or icy road surface conditions is on the rise every year. Car crashes in such bad road conditions can increase fatalities and serious injuries. Historical data (from the year 2016 to the year 2020) on weather-related traffic accidents show that the fatality rates are fairly high in Korea. This requires accurate prediction and identification of hazardous road conditions. In this study, a forecasting model is developed to predict the chances of traffic accidents that can occur on roads affected by weather and road surface conditions. Multiple deep learning algorithms taking into account AlexNet and 2D-CNN are employed. Data on orthophoto images, automatic weather systems, automated synoptic observing systems, and road surfaces are used for training and testing purposes. The orthophotos images are pre-processed before using them as input data for the modeling process. The procedure involves image segmentation techniques as well as the Z-Curve index. Results indicate that there is an acceptable performance of prediction such as 65% for dry, 46% for moist, and 33% for wet road conditions. The overall accuracy of the model is 53%. The findings of the study may contribute to developing comprehensive measures for enhancing road safety.

According to the recent global warming, it is necessary to use energy efficiently together with eco-friendly energy. The development of alternative technologies is requisite for managing the current energy and climate crises. In this regard, "smart windows," which can control solar radiation, can be used to mitigate energy demands. Electrochromic devices (ECDs) effectively control the amount of solar energy reaching commercial and other living areas and maintain climate conditions via color modulation in response to small external stimuli, such as temperature and light irradiation. However, the performance and the stability of ECDs depend on the state of the electrolyte and sealing of the device. To resolve the aforementioned issues, an ECD was manufactured by using a poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)-based gel polymer electrolyte (GPE), and a laminating method was used to adequately seal the ECD. The concentrations of PMMA, acetonitrile (ACN), and ferrocene (Fc) were controlled to optimize the composition of the GPE to achieve an enhanced electrochromic performance. The fabricated GPE-based ECD afforded high optical contrast (~81.92%), with high electrochromic stability up to 10,000 cycles. Moreover, the lamination method employing the GPE could be used to fabricate large-area ECDs.

The growth properties of MOD-YBCO films were investigated. To enhance the growth rate of YBCO layer and inhibit the build-up of HF gas during the annealing process in TFA-MOD for YBCO coated conductors the method of low pressure annealing was employed. Total pressure was changed from 700Torr to 1Torr and its effect on growth of YBCO films was compared with atmospheric one. The lower Pressure was effective to control of the pore size in MOD method . Surface morphology of YBCO films processed at low total pres sure was rough and composed of random YBCO (103) grains. But large pores, usually observed at atmospheric process in MOD disappeared and also the number of pores was reduced at low pressure annealing. Also discussed ate the effects of Fluorine-free Y and Cu precursor solution on the development of microstructure. Dense surface me phology and with less and small pores can be provided through controlling Fluorine content.
YBCO coated conductors (CC) on the $CeO_2$-buffered IBAD-MgO template were fabricated by metal-organic deposition (MOD) Process with Ba-trifluoroacetate and fluorine-free Y and Cu precursor materials. The precursor solution was coated on $CeO_2$-buffered IBAD MgO templates using the multiple dip-coating method, decomposed into inorganic precursors by pyrolysis up to $400^{\circ}C$ within 3 h, and finally fired at $740{\sim}800^{\circ}C$ in a reduced oxygen atmosphere. Microstructure, texture, and superconducting properties of YBCO films were found highly sensitive to both the firing temperature and time. The high critical current density ($J_C$) of $1.15\;MA/cm^2$ at 77.3K in the self-field could be obtained from $1\;{\mu}m$ thick YBCO CC, fired at $740^{\circ}C$ for 3.5 h, implying that high performance YBCO CC is producible on IBAD MgO template. Further enhancement of $J_C$ values is expected by improving the in-plane texture of $CeO_2$-buffer layer and avoiding the metal substrate contamination.
Nano-sized dots have been formed on the buffered metal substrates using the novel approach of the electro-spray deposition, to modulate the substrate surface and induce the columnar defects in REBCO films grown on it. The $BaZrO_3$ precursor solution was synthesized and electro-sprayed out onto the negatively charged substrate surface. Using the electrostatic force, nano-sized dots can be grown and uniformly distributed on the buffered metal substrate. The height of BZO nanodots was observed above the 200nm, which are beneficial to induce the columnar defects onto the BZO as a seed. The density of BZO nanodots was also investigated and ${\sim}7.8/{\mu}m^2$ was obtained. As the deposition distance of electro-spray was shortened there was ${\sim}8times$ increase of density of nanodots. The optimization of process variables in electro-spray deposition are discussed in respect to the superconducting REBCO films processed by the Metal-Organic Deposition with the effective flux pinning properties.
Purpose: The primary purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) on the use of mobile money in Indonesia. The acceptance of technology has brought changes to society where the application of technology is aimed at identifying the best solution among the various existing alternatives. There are two types of electronic money: chip-based and server-based electronic money. Server-based electronic money is found on mobile phones. The Indonesian government has encouraged the use of electronic money and launched Less Cash Society to create a secure, efficient, and smooth payment system. Research design, data, and methodology: This study collected quantitative data from users of server-based electronic money through surveys conducted based on the sample size. The data were processed using SEM LISREL 8.70. Results: the results show that each of the TAM's fundamental elements has a significant impact. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are able to encourage attitude toward using and behavioral intention to use towards actual use. Conclusions: The distribution of mobile money has a positive impact on society. Hence, mobile money providers must simplify access-recommendations made to strengthen the acceptance of mobile money via Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness.
With the development of promising future mobility and urban air mobility (UAM) technologies, the demand for LIDAR sensors has increased. The SWIR photodetector is a sensor that detects lasers for the 3D mapping of lidar sensor and is the most important technology of LIDAR sensor. An SWIR photodetector based on QDs in an eye-safe wavelength band of over 1400 nm has been reported. QDs-based SWIR photodetectors can be synthesized and processed through a solution process and have the advantages of low cost and simple processing. However, the organic ligands of QDs have insulating properties that limit their ability to improve the sensitivity and stability of photodetectors. Therefore, the technology to replace organic ligands with inorganic ligands must be developed. In this study, the organic ligand of the synthesized PbS QDs was replaced with a MAPI inorganic ligand, and an SWIR photodetector was fabricated. The analysis of the characteristics of the manufactured photodetector confirmed that the photodetector based on MAPI-capped PbS QDs exhibited up to 26.5% higher responsivity than that based on organic ligand PbS QDs.
