The Study on the Design and Optimization of Storage for the Recording of High Speed Astronomical Data (초고속 관측 데이터 수신 및 저장을 위한 기록 시스템 설계 및 성능 최적화 연구)

  • It becomes more and more more important for the storage that supports high speed recording and stable access from network environment. As one field of basic science which produces massive astronomical data, VLBI(: Very Long Baseline Interferometer) is now demanding more data writing performance and which is directly related to astronomical observation with high resolution and sensitivity. But most of existing storage are cloud model based for the high throughput of general IT, finance, and administrative service, and therefore it not the best choice for recording of big stream data. Therefore, in this study, we design storage system optimized for high performance of I/O and concurrency. To solve this problem, we implement packet read and writing module through the use of libpcap and pf_ring API on the multi core CPU environment, and build a scalable storage based on software RAID(: Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) for the efficient process of incoming data from external network.

  • We provide an economic evaluation model to help managers make reasonable decision for the investment in the appropriate type of cloud computing. Cloud computing can be classified into public, private and hybrid architecture and we evaluate their attractiveness using traditional NPV and real option methods. We conduct economic analysis by comparing traditional software delivery model with various types of cloud computing. The work compares each mode of cloud computing against each other using passive NPV and dynamic real-option method. For more objective and conservative evaluation of investment alternatives, we eliminate conventional benefits that are often subjective or hard to measure, and count only the reduction of investment cost and maintenance cost as benefit. We argue that hybrid and public cloud computing can be undervalued without their intrinsic options such as abandonment, expansion and contraction.

  • The coffee market has been rapidly growing up recently as well as the coffee industry which makes the number of educational institutions increasing in Korea. On the other hand, the classes lean too much on the practical exercise so the coffee education is urgently needed to define precisely and systematize academically. This study is accomplished on the basis of the teachers and students requirement analysis. The features that sets this study apart from the existing educational digital media is that the definite teaching-learning methods and teaching strategies were developed first. Furthermore, the physical and chemical phenomenon of coffee brewing were simulated by 3D animation software based on the visual languages. The general process of this media production was composed by the mutual relationship of the teacher's needs, educationist's strategies and media producer. After applying the digital media to students in the lesson of coffee science theory it was effective to increase their concentrativeness, interesting and learning motive. This media is also receiving the positive evaluation by the teachers to help the students in understanding the coffee science.

  • Expand the market because the size of the huge funds administered by the conversion of over-the-air digital TV broadcasts in the current situation is likely to be reduced due to the influence of the media over-the-air broadcasts new paid media, digital cable TV and IPTV new mobile TV as a new growth engineis required. Broadcasting system to increase the supply and demand of the module from the ATSC-M/H DMB business existing in the domestic over-the-air broadcasters, has seen significant achievements in sleep technology with the introduction is expected. ATSC-M/H does not require a separate frequency allocation for mobile services does not interfere with the existing ATSC system simulcast, which can be performed on Android mobile handsets American-style mobile broadcast reception module to develop should. This paper is to design the software modules in the broadcasting module embedded systems that are applied on the Android platform, broadcasting from mobile handsets to see.

  • Many enterprises have introduced workflow to enhance work efficiency and support effective work processes in their various work environments. Recently, Business Process Management(BPM), an extension of workflow, is spotlighted in enterprise software markets Although woklflow plays an important role in Business Process Managements, researches in workflow are mostly concentrated on temporal constraints which finds exact execution sequences for complicated jobs. On that reason, majority of workflow scheduling has concentrated on modeling of various resources which should be handled and the interest for workflow scheduling under constraints related to resources is rather unsatisfactory In this paper we presents the Transformation Template based on Concurrent Transaction Logic(CTR) which is suitable for scheduling workflows with resource allocation constraints, and the logical framework. The Transformation Template consists of a Workflow Transformation Template and a Constraint Transaction Template. Especially the Transformation Template can be conveniently used to logically represent new workflows under the existing resource allocation constraints.

  • Because of the rapid growth of smart phone market, the number of mobile applications has increased exponentially. As mobile applications are developing at a rapid rate, many of them are being developed without considering a systematic development process or quality factors, such as reusability, extensibility, etc.. As a result, they have many faults internally, they are being underrated in satisfaction or reliability from customers, and finally customers do not update or repeat the purchase. Therefore, a meta-model of development process for mobile applications was designed to improve the continuous usability of mobile applications as well as the satisfaction and reliability from users. Applying development process based on a meta-model to mobile application development is expected to improve development productivity and quality of mobile applications.

  • The paper is to investigates how influence service quality satisfaction, trust and repurchase intention using SERVPERF instrument in airline industry. This study will contributes to provide development strategies how to expense market and strength relation between customer to FSC and LCC by an empirical study. This study uses computer software of SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 for study analysis. The LCC should strengthen the price competitiveness, as well as it needs to establish a strategic management distinguishing service quality from other airline. The airline will has improved service quality of reliability and tangibles since improve service of reliability and tangibles. This study will provide strategic insights and information on service quality in airline industry.

  • Smart phone products lead the mobile computing world really, and be expected as a major object of mobile phone market. In special, Android OS platform in smart phones is remarkedly uprising as of main software architecture. As many applications are applied as of the Location Based Service system in the perspective of technical support which represents open based technology. In this research, we developed the location information transformation service module, using LBS system, which effects some users urgently in the timing of traffic accidents. It supports to help some car drivers with smart phone, enables them to recognizes remote controller or another users.

  • In domestic game market, the video game market is getting smaller and also decreasing funds and high level developers. So we need the software that can help us to make more realistic and high quality contents by non-expert developer in poor environments. In this paper, we selected global studio's animations which were scored good evaluation by public and critics as a well-made emotional expression that can convey the emotion properly. We selected movements that express emotions from the animation scripts by using Ekman's 6 basic emotions and Greimas' dynamic predicate, and then we had analyzed and categorized with the data. We also analyzed the movements for which data we needed to create specific movements to express emotions by using 'Animation Layer' that used in Unity's blending process. And suggest concept of the program that to create the emotional expression movements by using those analyzed data.

  • This development is for non-destructive machine using X-Ray source about detecting outline faults of below middle size products. The differentiation is product of research and development unspecialized small and medium-sized products using X-Ray light sources can check real time if the surface of an external fault of radiation dose reference, within the leakage. The speed control is possible by software solution. In addition, we're working on possibly block doors for worker safety and equipment at the same time that inner drive can be identified in the image. These principles, as a key enabler of the current inspection system such as the container is small to medium-sized parts - a long way from utilization level is possible. This research will give rise to major effects for other various non-destructive market industries except car-industry. The most important fact is that this developed non-destructive machine is controlled below $0.2micro-S{\mu}v$.
