Digital leader caught seat by modern's everyday life tool now by popularization of smart device such as Smart phone and Tablet PC. Therefore, desire of readers about electronic book practical use is increasing based on convenience and economic performance of electronic book. 1971, Michael S. Hart established Project Gutenberg to produced first electronic book because inputs American Independence Declaration Statement by computer and produce more electronic books. After that, an electronic book technology repeats several times development and American electronic book take is increasing rapidly. Sales volume of electronic books is dramatically increasing in Korea since digital device such as Smart phone and Tablet PC became popular. This research attempts to analyze factors influencing on shifting from paper book to electronic book. Results of this research proposed grounds for building business strategy. Finding is the factor of social influence is only significant to acceptability intention. It means user of e-Book enhance their acceptability intention along social phenomena.

Chaotic dynamics have been studied by many researchers in the fields of biology, physics, and engineering. Interest in chaos is also expanding to the social sciences such as politics, economics, and others, including the prediction of societal events. The concept of leisure has developed from a passive concept correlated with relaxation, entertainment, and ideology formation into a positive concept that assumes a more active role. As information and communications technology develops, digital leisure activity is expected to continue spreading. This expansion of digital leisure function correctly, as well as. Traditional leisure activity functions correctly more, whereas digital leisure activity is predicted to function incorrectly more often. In this paper, we propose a mathematical addiction model of digital leisure that deals with its dysfunctions such as addiction to digital leisure, including computer games, internet search, internet chatting, and social media. Herein, to solve addiction to digital leisure, we propose a model derived from a nicotine addiction.

This paper is aimed to examine the current research and educational problems of foreign studies in Korean universities and review some alternative ways. Area studies as foreign studies have several characteristics which are different from those of the other research disciplines. It is a research and educational program that promotes comprehensive understanding about political, economic, social, and cultural phenomena of a specific area in the world. For better understand 'others', researchers in the field of area studies must explain the whole mechanism of the area, which could be revealed in terms of the very existence of its reality. Foreign studies are accomplished with joint-research method, collaborating two or more different research disciplines and based on the contemporary system of knowledge accumulation and educational program. Therefore, the critical issue can be gradually taken on a political and social characteristic. At this point, research and educational manner in foreign studies field in Korea should be changed to secure the academic reflections of temporality, sociality, placeness using a new paradigm such as complexity.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is currently leading humanity into a super-connected, super-intelligent, and super-converged society through key technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data. Blockchain technology has the potential to lead social innovation that will improve the mutual harmony and understanding of the complex structures of human society as well as various phenomena (e.g., antagonism, confrontation, and ideological conflict). With such progress in social innovation, blockchain technology will result in a fairer and more transparent human society. In addition, blockchain technology is emerging as a core infrastructure technology, and its growth and expansion are expected to bring about revolutionary improvements to nearly all fields of development and research. In this paper, we briefly outline the main features of blockchain technology. Through a further analysis of its ecosystem, we intend to offer suggestions for a more robust and efficient development of blockchain-related industries.

This paper attempts to analyze the trend of research methods in Korean social welfare research and discuss utilities of qualitative research methods in broadening and deepening social welfare knowledge body in Korea. First, this paper examines research methods of 538 research articles published in Korean Journal of Social Welfare from the volume one in 1979 to the volume 51 in 2002. It has the following results: (1) non-empirical research articles were dominant in the 1980s; (2) empirical research articles have been dominant since the middle of the 1990s; and (3) research articles utilizing qualitative methods have appeared rarely since the end of the 1990s. Second, this paper examines the characteristics and the types(phenomenology, grounded theory, ethno-graphic approach, narrative inquiry etc.) of qualitative research methods. Third, this paper discusses (1) fitness between practice in social welfare discipline and qualitative research methods and (2) utilities of qualitative research methods in broadening and deepening knowledge body of Korean social welfare. In discussing the fitness, this paper focuses that qualitative research methods fits with the needs of social welfare discipline regarding broadening and deepening our understandings about social phenomena related to practice, and (2) qualitative research methods fits the needs of social welfare discipline regarding developing endogenous knowledge. In discussing the utilities, this paper focuses that qualitative research methods can be more properly utilized for social welfare research because there are coincidences in basic assumptions and perspectives of both qualitative research methods and social welfare practice. Finally, this paper highlights that 'many ways of knowing' exist in social science and it should be considered more sincerely in the arena of Korean social welfare research in order to more solidly develop the knowledge body of social welfare and practice in Korea.

A legal system is designed to regulate social phenomena appropriately minimizing potential disputes arising out of conflicts with social phenomena and to seek for stability of legal life. The development of information technology and network infrastructure changed way of communication significantly, which realized the new transactional concepts, such as EDI(Electronic Data Interchange), Commerce At Light Speed(CALS) and Electronic Commerce(EC). However, current legal systems of each nation, which are based upon the paper document, do not seem to accomodate such types of emerging transactions. In that context, we can observe many issues which cannot be resolved among the parties involved in such transactions even under the several sui-generis statutes regarding EDI in Korea. Based upon the recognition of the above circumstances, this paper will browse legislative efforts in advanced countries and international institutions like UNCITRAL, and WTO. Also this will cover outstanding issues in relation with the deployment of electronic commerce in Korea and suggest what should be revisited for better accommodation of the changes going on.

Recently, it is emphasized importance of family. The new husband and wife are created by caused marriage, they organize new family including wife's home and husband's home. As a result, they conflict or accomplish peace with new family. Such a researchers mainly have been studied in the social science side. Because there is no mathematical modeling which is one of the natural science, for family relationship, it is not provide to reveal the behavioral phenomena between families fundamentally. In this paper, one of the nonlinear research for social subject, we modify love model of Romeo and Juliet. Then we propose novel family relationship model for parent-in-law and daughter (or son)-in-law relation. We also confirm chaotic behavior or nonlinear behavior by time series and phase portrait.

A semiotic approach to modern visual arts has emerged since French post-structuralism was introduced to Anglo -American academics by "deconstruction" or "postmodernism." This study was conducted in order to analyze weather characteristics during the reign of King Sejo in the Chosun Dynasty based on The Annals of the Chosun Dynasty. For this purpose, first of all, we need to determine whether The Annals of the Chosun Dynasty is a reliable material for research on weather characteristics. Thus, we compared weather phenomena during the reign of King Sejo with those in China and Japan in the same period. From the results, it was found that The Annals of the Chosun Dynasty is a useful material at least to grasp macroscopic trends in weather phenomena. Based on this assumption, we analyzed weather characteristics during the reign of King Sejo using data from The Annals of the Chosun Dynasty. During the days of King Sejo, the climate was not changed violently and there were not many disasters caused by abnormal climate such as bad harvests. This suggests that the climate was relatively stable during the period of King Sejo. As a consequence of stable weather, famine decreased markedly. However, this was not only because of stable climate but also because of the government's active efforts to reduce disasters. As droughts and floods were not frequent, social costs for recovery from disasters also decreased considerably and the saved money could be invested in the construction of social safety nets for the prevention of disasters. One of factors supporting the enthronement of King Sejo was a series of heavily damaging bad harvests during the reign of Kings Munjong and Danjong. The prevention of bad harvests was a historical mission given to the regime of King Sejo. During his reign, King Sejo promoted various policies in order to stop bad harvests. Such efforts included the government's active construction of embankments, introduction of seeds suitable for reclaimed lands, and inspiration of the consciousness of forceful farming enduring natural disasters such as floods. As a result, abnormal weathers such as floods and droughts did not lead directly to bad harvests.
