  • For complete Riemannian manifolds with vanishing Bach tensor and positive constant scalar curvature, we provide a rigidity theorem characterized by some pointwise inequalities. Furthermore, we prove some rigidity results under an inequality involving $L^{\frac{n}{2}}$-norm of the Weyl curvature, the traceless Ricci curvature and the Sobolev constant.

  • We prove that if a given complete Riemannian manifold is roughly isometric to a complete Riemannian manifold satisfying the volume doubling condition, the Poincar inequality and the finite covering condition at infinity on each end, then every positive harmonic function on the manifold is asymptotically constant at infinity on each end. This result is a direct generalization of those of Yau and of Li and Tam.

  • For complete manifolds with α-Bach tensor (which is defined by (1.2)) flat, we provide some rigidity results characterized by some point-wise inequalities involving the Weyl curvature and the traceless Ricci curvature. Moveover, some Einstein metrics have also been characterized by some $L^{\frac{n}{2}}$-integral inequalities. Furthermore, we also give some rigidity characterizations for constant sectional curvature.

  • In this paper, we show that a complete translating soliton Σm in ℝn for the mean curvature flow is stable with respect to weighted volume functional if Σ satisfies that the Lm norm of the second fundamental form is smaller than an explicit constant that depends only on the dimension of Σ and the Sobolev constant provided in Michael and Simon [12]. Under the same assumption, we also prove that under this upper bound, there is no non-trivial f-harmonic 1-form of L2f on Σ. With the additional assumption that Σ is contained in an upper half-space with respect to the translating direction then it has only one end.

  • This paper is concerned with the following Klein-Gordon-Maxwell system: $$\{-{\Delta}u+{\lambda}V(x)u-(2{\omega}+{\phi}){\phi}u=f(x,u),\;x{\in}\mathbb{R}^3,\\{\Delta}{\phi}=({\omega}+{\phi})u^2,\;x{\in}\mathbb{R}^3$$ where ${\omega}$ > 0 is a constant and ${\lambda}$ is the parameter. Under some suitable assumptions on V (x) and f(x, u), we establish the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial solutions of the above system via variational methods. Our conditions weaken the Ambrosetti Rabinowitz type condition.
