The recent increase in smartphone usage has ignited the development of new applications which have changed the way of living in this internet era in the world. Almost all users which have smartphone have used many kinds of applications for lots of part. Especially, Social Network Service is the most popular part for smartphone users. The greater part of smartphone users take messenger service for smartphone. This kinds of applications provide to manage as deactivation of user or change of device. When users take to manage their information, their information would be deleted securely. If secure deletion didn't work correctly and released, their personal information can be easily abused to by others through various means such as internet phishing. In this paper, we analysis that the messenger application's management function keeps on the Personal Information Protection Act and suggest to prevent legally and technically for user's personal information and privacy.

In this paper, we propose a Recently, the use of Smart phones surge in youth the youth are becoming a big addiction social problems Mobile Messenger. The prevalence of Smart phones is Mobile Messenger, access time, spatial constraints for assured. As a result, pc room, with a focus on traditional Internet addiction is to be reduced, whereas with a focus on Mobile Messenger Smartphone addiction level is rapidly on the rise. Korea information agency of Internet addiction and mobile addiction risk appeared to be well over 10 percent of the rate of 35% is gaming and mobile addiction unfolds exemplifies the seriousness of Messenger. Addiction is the individual's psychosocial problems such as negative consequences can result, causing the addiction, because it is necessary for an understanding of the mechanism. In this study, Mobile Messenger, the leading factors affecting the addiction said. Mobile Messenger is a major factor causing the addiction habit and consider the user's satisfaction. And social relations and the formation of plougastel Wu Mobile Messenger and its impact on the cause of addiction.

Communication through smartphones is creating a new paradigm of mobile communication beyond the restrictions of mobility and space. The mobile instant messengers of the smartphone, which began on the desktop environment, are providing various communication features, including multimedia contents, texts, and voice. Kindergartens and nurseries are using Websites, phones, SMS, printed materials, handwritten notifications, etc. to communicate with the parents. IsPlus was developed to facilitate the communication between the parents and the teachers, including exchanges of pictures and videos, chatting, and attendance management using smartphones. This is meaningful in that it is an early smartphone mobile messenger for educational institutions for infants and preschoolers. This study presented a new approach to the development of a mobile messenger for a specific group of users by analyzing the user environment, communication types, application planning process and interface design development using storytelling.

As the use of smartphone has rapidly spread into the current society, the mobile instant messenger applications such as Kakaotalk, Tiktok, and Line have become an indispensable part of our daily lives. While, the mobile instant messenger has brought us many positive changes, social problems stemming from the dependency on the mobile instant messenger has been occurred. The dependency of the mobile instant messenger can negatively affect daily lives and lead to stress or addiction. Therefore, it is very important to examine how we can prevent such dependency and addiction. In this respect, the purpose of this study is to investigate determinants impacting on the mobile instant messenger dependency, barrier of living, and intention to digital break. The statistical analysis of survey results shows that enjoyment, identity, relationship commitment, critical mass and ease of use are significantly related to mobile instant messenger dependency, while media richness is not significantly related. Mobile instant messenger dependency have a positive effect on barrier of living, which then has a positive effect on digital break. Lastly, the moderating effect of perceived risk is significant. This research suggests theoretical and business implications to prevent mobile instant messenger dependency.

Along with the universalization of smartphones, smartphone addiction is becoming a physical and mental social problem. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relevance of the problems caused by addiction in 300 adolescents, adults and the elderly. The results showed that the use of SNS and messenger were most related to the negative factors such as health problems, depression, antisocial, schizophrenia, lower self-esteem, and lower social expectation. In addition, games and videos were analyzed to have relatively low negative problems. Focusing on the high addiction rate, the researcher further analyzed the preference for problem solution and discussed the improvement measures for smartphone addiction reduction.

This study examined the effects of smartphone usage types and excessive expectation for smartphone on adolescents' smartphone overdependence. It utilized the data of 3,454 adolescents (1,758 males and 1,696 females), aged between 13 and 19 from a smartphone overdependence survey of the National Information Society Agency. As a result of the hierarchical multiple regression analysis, age and household income had a negative effect on smartphone overdependence. Weekly smartphone usage time positively affected the serious consequences (sub-factor of smartphone overdependence). Among the different types of smartphone usage, information seeking, SNS, gaming, and the excessive expectation for smartphones had positive impact on smartphone overdependence. Smartphone usage for leisure seeking did not affect smartphone overdependence, but it negatively influenced serious consequences. Messenger use did not affect smartphone overdependence, but the use had a positive effect on salience, and a negative effect on serious consequences. The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to identify the types of smartphone use as well as the usage time to understand the smartphone dependence of adolescents. In addition, it seems necessary to recognize and correct the irrational excessive expectation for smartphone in order to prevent dependence and implement effective interventions.

The diffusion of smartphone has make people engaged in communication with mobile messenger in everyday life. To understand the rapid growth of mobile messenger usage, this study investigates the unique features of mobile messenger services as communication media. Based on the media synchronicity theory and literature about online communication, we identify the functional and emotional features of mobile messenger. In particular, this study demonstrates that functional and emotional features of mobile messenger would influence intimacy and fatigue. Also, intimacy and fatigue, as mediating variables, have an impact on user satisfaction and commitment toward mobile messenger service. The results of this study provide practical implications for mobile messenger providers and users which attempt to facilitate positive effect such as intimacy among users and reduce negative effect such as fatigue on mobile messenger communication.

Smartphone has become a part of many people's daily lives. The mobile messenger function on the smartphone in particular is the most frequently used services. The mobile communication tool in the age of digital media can be classified into two big categories: text messages and emoticons, the non-verbal expression tool of one's emotions. This thesis has studied the mobile communications made by the non-verbal tool of emoticons. The history of emoticons traces back to the text-based emoticon created by Scott Fahlman, from which graphical emoticons were developed and the sound and animation effects have been added. Many people use emoticons and diverse companies are developing the tool. In this study, the representative emoticon development case of Line Co., Ltd. is analyzed to see the concept, types, development process, collaborations and merchandising of the emoticons. Based on the case of Line, the development orientation and direction of domestic emoticons will be discussed to be culture contents.

Instant messengers are a means of communication for modern people and can be used with smartphones and PCs respectively or connected with each other. Messengers, which provide various functions such as message, call, and file sharing, contain user behavior information regarded as important evidence in forensic investigation. However, it is difficult to analyze as well as acquire smartphone data because of the security of smartphones or apps. However, messenger data can be extracted through PC when the messenger is used on PC. In this paper, we obtained the credential data of Wire messenger in Windows 10, and showed that it is possible to log-in from another PC without authentication. In addition, we identified and classified major artifacts generated based on user behavior.

With the increase in smartphone user, mobile forensics has become an essential element in modern digital forensic investigation. Mobile messenger data is very important data in mobile forensics because it can acquire information such as user's life pattern and mental state. In order to analyze messenger data, a decryption technique of an encrypted messenger data is required. Since most messengers provide a message deleting function, a technique for recovering deleted messages is required. WeChat Messenger, a messenger used by about 1 billion people around the world, uses IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) information to encrypt data and provides message deletion function. In this paper, we propose a data decryption method in the absence of IMEI information and propose a method for recovering deleted messages using FTS (Full Text Search) database created for full-text search function of SQLite database.
