Real-time CRM Strategy of Big Data and Smart Offering System: KB Kookmin Card Case (KB국민카드의 빅데이터를 활용한 실시간 CRM 전략: 스마트 오퍼링 시스템)

  • Big data refers to data that is difficult to store, manage, and analyze by existing software. As the lifestyle changes of consumers increase the size and types of needs that consumers desire, they are investing a lot of time and money to understand the needs of consumers. Companies in various industries utilize Big Data to improve their products and services to meet their needs, analyze unstructured data, and respond to real-time responses to products and services. The financial industry operates a decision support system that uses financial data to develop financial products and manage customer risks. The use of big data by financial institutions can effectively create added value of the value chain, and it is possible to develop a more advanced customer relationship management strategy. Financial institutions can utilize the purchase data and unstructured data generated by the credit card, and it becomes possible to confirm and satisfy the customer's desire. CRM has a granular process that can be measured in real time as it grows with information knowledge systems. With the development of information service and CRM, the platform has change and it has become possible to meet consumer needs in various environments. Recently, as the needs of consumers have diversified, more companies are providing systematic marketing services using data mining and advanced CRM (Customer Relationship Management) techniques. KB Kookmin Card, which started as a credit card business in 1980, introduced early stabilization of processes and computer systems, and actively participated in introducing new technologies and systems. In 2011, the bank and credit card companies separated, leading the 'Hye-dam Card' and 'One Card' markets, which were deviated from the existing concept. In 2017, the total use of domestic credit cards and check cards grew by 5.6% year-on-year to 886 trillion won. In 2018, we received a long-term rating of AA + as a result of our credit card evaluation. We confirmed that our credit rating was at the top of the list through effective marketing strategies and services. At present, Kookmin Card emphasizes strategies to meet the individual needs of customers and to maximize the lifetime value of consumers by utilizing payment data of customers. KB Kookmin Card combines internal and external big data and conducts marketing in real time or builds a system for monitoring. KB Kookmin Card has built a marketing system that detects realtime behavior using big data such as visiting the homepage and purchasing history by using the customer card information. It is designed to enable customers to capture action events in real time and execute marketing by utilizing the stores, locations, amounts, usage pattern, etc. of the card transactions. We have created more than 280 different scenarios based on the customer's life cycle and are conducting marketing plans to accommodate various customer groups in real time. We operate a smart offering system, which is a highly efficient marketing management system that detects customers' card usage, customer behavior, and location information in real time, and provides further refinement services by combining with various apps. This study aims to identify the traditional CRM to the current CRM strategy through the process of changing the CRM strategy. Finally, I will confirm the current CRM strategy through KB Kookmin card's big data utilization strategy and marketing activities and propose a marketing plan for KB Kookmin card's future CRM strategy. KB Kookmin Card should invest in securing ICT technology and human resources, which are becoming more sophisticated for the success and continuous growth of smart offering system. It is necessary to establish a strategy for securing profit from a long-term perspective and systematically proceed. Especially, in the current situation where privacy violation and personal information leakage issues are being addressed, efforts should be made to induce customers' recognition of marketing using customer information and to form corporate image emphasizing security.

  • Owing to rapid advancements of the mobile computing technologies and the performance of mobile device recently, the data synchronization techniques between severs and mobile clients are getting more and more important. OMA also proposes and recommends standard synchronization methods to use SyncML. However, the feasible data in the method are limited to normal document data, scheduler data, etc. This paper a standard framework based on SyncML. We call it SCGFG. The SCGFG is able to synchronize not only the above data but also GIS data which is very useful in mobile applications. It applies GML, international GIS standard, to the synchronization. By means of using XML, it is also able to resolve the serious problem that is the increase of data volume occurred by SyncML and GML. efficiently. It is highly expected to be useful in the smart synchronization of GIS data among several servers and mobile clients.

  • With the advancement of internet and mobile communication devices, mobile banking such as internet banking, internet loan and smart phones related to the people's economic activities using mobile communication devices is becoming increasingly more popular. Various security systems to prevent such new crimes are being introduced and the security system market is anticipated to continuously increase substantially in the future. Accordingly, qualitative advancement of the security systems are also in continuous demand. Therefore, this thesis proposes the method and system for quality evaluation of the network access control system by proposing testing and evaluating method for the relevant system through surveying and analyzing the tend in the foundation technologies and standards in the area of network access control system, which is one of the security systems, in order to cope with the demands for the evaluation of the quality of the security system as the security system product market is anticipated to grow continuously.

  • Printing technology is accepted by appropriate technology that smart phones, tablet PC, display(LCD, OLED, etc.) precision recently in the electronics industry, the market grows, this process in the ongoing efforts to improve competitiveness through the development of innovative technologies. So printed electronics appeared by new concept. This technology development is applied on electronic components and circuits for the simplification of the production process and reduce processing costs. Low-temperature process making possible for widening, slimmer, lighter, and more flexible, plastic substrates, such as(flexible) easily by forming a thin film on a substrate has been studied. In the past, the formation of the electrode used a screen printing method. But the screen printing method is formation of fine patterns, high-speed printing, mass production is difficult. The roll-to-roll printing method as an alternative to screen printing to produce electronic devices by printing techniques that were used traditionally in the latest technology and processing techniques applied to precision control are very economical to implement fine-line printing equipment has been evaluated as. In order to function as electronic devices, especially the dozens of existing micro-level of non-dot print fine line printing is required, the line should not break at all, because according to the specifications required to fit the ink transfer conditions should be established. In this study of roll-to-roll printing conductive paste suitable for gravure offset printing by developing Ag paste for forming fine patterns to study the basic physical properties with the aim of this study were to.

  • The combination of developed medical devices and the convergence of IT fusion technologies, health variables became to can be measured without discomfort in everyday life regardless of wherever and whenever. because various types of u-Health medical devices have been developed. Also, by considering the users, biological signals can be measured without difference with wearing general clothing, that conductive fabric is being used as smart clothing. However, considering that there is a growing prevalence of the devices and a great interest in the development of u-Health devices, it is urgent to establish performance evaluation. Accordingly, writing guidelines by force to raise checking before marketed or collecting checks after at the market for standard test methods for evaluating the performance. In this paper, it was studied that the possibility of using conductive fabric as electrodes for Wearable u-Health Devices through the material test of the ffabric.

An Experimental Analysis of Linux TCP Variants for Video Streaming in LTE-based Mobile DaaS Environments (LTE 기반 모바일 DaaS 환경에서 비디오 스트리밍을 위한 Linux TCP 구현물의 실험적 성능 분석)

  • Recent network environment has been rapidly evolved to cloud computing environment based on the development of the Internet technologies. Furthermore there is an increasing demand on mobile cloud computing due to explosive growth of smart devices and wide deployment of LTE-based cellular networks. Thus mobile Desktop-as-a-Service(DaaS) could be a pervasive service for nomadic users. In addition, video streaming traffic is currently more than two-thirds of mobile traffic and ever increasing. All such trends enable that video streaming in mobile DaaS could be an important concern for mobile cloud computing. It should be noted that the performance of the Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) on cloud host servers greatly affects Quality of Service(QoS) of video streams for mobile users. With widely deployed Linux server platforms for cloud computing, in this paper, we conduct an experimental analysis of the twelve Linux TCP variants in mobile DaaS environments. The results of our experiments show that the TCP Illinois outperforms the other TCP variants in terms of wide range of packet loss rate and propagation delay over LTE-based wireless links between cloud servers and mobile devices, even though TCP CUBIC is usually used in default in the current Linux systems.

  • The needs for reusable 3D visualization tool has been being raised in various industries. Especially in the defense modeling and simulation (M&S) domain, there are abundant researches about reusable and interoperable visualization system, since it has a critical role to the efficient decision making by offering diverse validation and analyzing processes. To facilitate the effectiveness, states-of-the-arts M&S systems are applying VR (Virtual Reality) or AR (Augmented Reality) technologies. To reduce the work burden authors design a collaborative visualization environment based on a commercial game engine Unity3D. We define the requirements of the warfare simulation by analyzing pros and cons of existing tools and engines such as SIMDIS or Vega, and apply functionalities of the commercial game engine to satisfy the requirements. A prototype has been implemented as the collaborative visualization environment of iCAVE at KAIST, which is a facility for immersive virtual environment. The facility is intraoperative with smart devices.

  • Recently international organizations such as ISO/TC211, OGC, INSPIRE (Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe) make an effort to share geospatial data using semantic web technologies. In addition, smart phone and social networking services enable community-based opportunities for participants to share issues of a social phenomenon based on geographic area, and many researchers try to find a method of extracting issues from that. However, serviceable spatial ontologies are still insufficient at application level, and studies of spatial information extraction from SNS were focused on user's location finding or geocoding by text mining. Therefore, a study of extracting spatial phenomenon from social media information and converting it into geosemantic knowledge is very usable. In this paper, we propose a framework for extracting keywords from micro-blog, one of the social media services, finding their relationships using data mining technique, and converting it into spatiotemopral knowledge. The result of this study could be used for implementing a related system as a procedure and ontology model for constructing geoseem antic issue. And from this, it is expected to improve the effectiveness of finding, publishing and analysing spatial issues.

  • In the construction of an extension field, there is a connection between the polynomial multiplication method and the degree of polynomial. The existing methods, KO and MSK methods, efficiently reduce the complexity of coefficient-multiplication. However, when we construct the multiplication of an extension field using KO and MSK methods, the polynomials are padded with necessary number of zero coefficients in general. In this paper, we propose basic properties of KO and MSK methods and algorithm that can reduce coefficient-multiplications. The proposed algorithm is more reducible than the original KO and MSK methods. This characteristic makes the employment of this multiplier particularly suitable for applications characterized by specific space constrains, such as those based on smart cards, token hardware, mobile phone or other devices.

  • Recently, the concept of PES(Personal Environment Service) is being widely discussed on various standardization organizations such as ITU-R, ETSI, 3GPP, TTA and etc. The purpose of PES is to introduce the services which can dynamically, automatically and intelligently reconfigures the electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment surrounding the user according to the user preferences included in a user's profile by using a smartphone embedding WPAN radio technologies such as bluetooth and WiFi. This research introduces an Android Platform-based PES system which consists of a PES app, PES devices and a PES server. A smartphone platform is Android 2.2(Froyo) version and 4 simulated PES devices were implemented by using Galaxy Tab. It has shown that the PES would be a killer application of M2M(Machine-to-Machine) or D2D(Device-to-Device) in the future and it would need to study how to update a user's profile based on analyzing user's behaviour for enhancing the PES user's satisfaction.
