A Study on the Energy Consumption of Elementary, Middle and High Schools in Daejeon Metropolitan City (대전광역시 초·중·고등학교의 에너지 사용에 관한 조사연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the energy consumption of Elementary, Middle and High Schools in Daejeon Metropolitan City. The main results are as follow: 1) Annual energy consumption per class was 12,825 (kWh/class) at elementary schools, 15,780 (kWh/class) at middle schools, and 29,447 (kWh/class) at high schools, 2) Generally the smaller the size of the school, the higher the energy consumption per class. However according to the HVAC system there was no consistent pattern of energy consumption per class. 3) According to Box and Whisker's Chart, distribution of energy consumption of elementary and middle schools' had small range. However, the range of high schools increased. 4) Energy consumption in winter season was larger than that of summer season in schools.

  • Recently environmental regulations like the Kyoto Protocol, adopted in 1997, required the reduction of the greenhouse gas of 5.2% up to 1990 regulations. and 13th General Assembly in 2007, held in Bali of India, have agreed to duty reduction even in developing countries in 2013. Because of the lack of information about real process in small or middle size industries, most recent research omitted to calculate green house gas emissions from the industrial process. Bottom-up methodology will be applied for calculation of green house gasemission from industry sector to solve these problems in this research. Total amount from industry sector of Shicheung-City in 2007 was about 1,797,305 tons of greenhouse gas $CO_2$ and 3,049,403 tons of the greenhouse gas $CO_2$ calculated from industry sector of Ansan-City in 2007.

숙녀복 치수표기법에 대한 소비자의 선호도 조사연구

  • This study investigated whether consumer's characteristics affect their preference of size labeling systems. The survey included 443 women 20 to 64 years of age. The results show that the consumers' preferences of five size labeling systems were different significantly. Subjects strongly prefered the size label in use for many years at the marker. The consumers' preference for various systems was different by resident area, educational level, and body types of the subjects. The system with information on body measrements was prefered by the resident in the metro city area than the resident in the small city. The simplest system was strongly prefered by the subjects having no difficulties on purchasing ready-to-wear garments that reasonably fit their bodies. The subjects belonged to the low educational level strongly prefered the simplest system.

A study on consumer's preference for size labeling system of womens's ready-to-wear garments

  • This study was initiated to investigate (1) whether consumers preferred a specific garment size labeling system and (2) whether consumer's demographic characteristics, clothing behavior, and body size affect their preference of size labeling systems. The survey of consumer's preferences for five size labeling systems included 443 women with 20 to 64 years of age. The result of the survey showed that the subjects' preferences of five size labeling sysems were different significantly. Subjects strongly preferred the old system rather than the revised systems. The subjects least preferred the system with pictogram(system D) and the system with description of the measuring methods of te control dimensions (system E). The subjects/ preference for various garment size labeling systems was different depending on their resident area, educational level, and body size. The garment size labeling system with more information on body measurements (system C) was preferred by the subjects living in the metro city area or subjects having difficulties on purchasing ready-to-wear garments giving reasonable fit. The simplest size labeling system (system A) was strongly preferred by the subjects of low educational level, or the subjects living in the small city.

  • The depth profiles of the as-grown and the annealed NH$_3$ oxide film in NH$_3$(7.5%)/$N_2$ ambient at 45$0^{\circ}C$ are analized . This annealing in the ambient of mixed gases removes the small quantities of N component from the NH$_3$ oxide film. In AES analysis, the NH$_3$ oxidation shows the exact stoichiometry of SiO$_2$ and a sharp slop at SiO$_2$/Si interface.

  • In the present study, the wind characteristics were analyzed according to the time averages to evaluate the performance of small wind turbines required for the development of energy independent village. Measuring data of wind speed were recorded between January 2016 and April 2016 every second. Experimental data is averaged out using 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 minute time steps. Throughout the experimental data analysis, 5 minutes averaged data is used to analyze the performance of the wind turbine, because it produces a minimum turbulence intensity in wind speed. The measuring power of the wind turbine is less than the designed value due to the unsteady nature wind of sudden changes in magnitude of wind speed and wind angle. Detailed wind conditions are also analysed using two variable Weibull probability density functions.

  • Apartment houses maintenance like remodeling in at issue and the importance is getting higher.   • 첨단 정보통신 인프라와 유비쿼터스 정보서비스를 도시 공간에 융합하여 도시 제반 기능을 혁신시킬 수 있는 차세대 정보화 도시를 Ubiquitous-City라고 한다. 이러한 U-City에 적용할 서비스를 계획할 때 고려해야 할 부분에 대해 살펴보고 이를 만족하는 서비스를 제안 한다. 도시 내의 주거지나 근무지 같은 고정된 공간이 아닌 거리 같은 특성을 갖는 이동지향 적인 장소에서 보행자 중심의 소형 유비쿼터스 공간과 그 내부에서의 서비스를 정의 한다. 일반적으로 큰 니즈가 예상되는 서비스를 보편적 서비스라 정의하고 도시민의 니즈를 바탕으로 추가 서비스를 제안 한다. 장소와 목적에 따라 U-Booth 서비스 분류의 필요성을 제시하고 설계시의 고려 사항을 정리한다. UCity내에서 U-Booth가 어떠한 형태로 존재해야 하는지에 대해 제언을 한다.

  • Based on the real-time monitoring by remote sensing and dynamic management by GIS on agricultural land and water resources in arid area, we solved the practicability and popularization of small-scale spatial information service system. Through demonstration, the standards of spatial information service database of agricultural land and water resources is set up, and the agricultural land and water resources management system in Shehezi City of Xinjiang Autonomy is established, which provides periodically the spatial information services needed by agricultural production to support for sustainable development in arid area.

  • The purpose of this study is to review and evaluate the proper planning for 2030 Incheon Urban Parks & Green Space Master Plan. Some of the plans are aimed at multiple small districts within the city's old town, as local governments are planned to be sub-subsidized by Incheon Metropolitan City. However, these plans have become simple plans for each district and therefore find it difficult to collect from the perspective of the using system of the residents who are directly used. First, the construction of the urban park and green space network requires the construction of a service using system that can be felt by the users. Second, the basic idea of each district planned as the detailed strategy of the master plan should be planned through consultation with nearby the district. Third, specific targets and directions for the urban park and green space plan through the urban development project are needed.
