농업용 트랙터 제동등 광도 성능 평가 (Evaluation of the Luminous Intensity Distribution of Stop Lamp for Agricultural Tractors)

  • This study was initiated to prevent rear-end collision which causes the most frequent human damage by agricultural tractors. Therefore, this study was aimed to evaluate the luminous performance of a stop lamp for an agricultural tractor which could reduce rear-end collision. The performance test of luminous intensity distribution was conducted for a total of 12 tractor models classified by size (above 44 kW for large, 30~43 kW for medium, and below 29 kW for small) and production area (domestic, foreign manufacture) in accordance with Regulation No.7 of UNECE Vehicle Regulations-1958 Agreement considering ${\pm}$20 standard deviation. Three out of 5 large, 3 out of 4 medium, and all small tractors were resulted as inadequate for the test criterion. This study found that the luminous performance results were better as the size of agricultural tractors became bigger. One out of 4 foreign and 2 out of 8 domestic manufacturers were suitable for the test criterion, and overall no difference from the luminosity test results was observed between domestic and foreign manufacturers. In addition, the measuring points, HV, 5L, 5R, 5U and 5D with the minimal luminosity revealed flaws (80% of the proportion of faulty products). Therefore, it is urgent to improve the quality for measuring points (HV, 5U, 5L, 5R, 5D) of stop lamps to apply Regulation No. 7.

  • This study is an empirical research to find out the effect on the management performance of hidden champions of food manufacturing companies when using blue ocean strategy for new product development. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey on hidden champions in the domestic food manufacturing industry and proceeded empirical analysis. When small and medium-sized enterprises in food manufacturing industries develop a new product, searching for non-customer, rebuilding the market boundary, and linking the external networks have a significant impact on their management performance. However, the fair procedure did not have a significant effect on the management performance. In terms of relative influence, rebuilding the market boundary was most affecting, followed by searching for non-customer and linking the external networks. On the other hand, this study implicated the management performance of hidden champions of food manufacturing industries when new products is developed by using the blue ocean strategy. Obtained results are as follows. If small and medium-sized enterprises of food manufacturing industries develop new products, it will be able to improve the management performance by utilizing strategies such as searching for non-customer, rebuilding the market boundary, and linking the external networks. In particular, the rebuilding the market boundary among the blue ocean strategies has a relatively high impact on management performance.

  • 자동차 부품기업들은 플랫폼 기반 대량맞춤형 제품개발과 생산을 통해 비용절감과 아시아 신흥시장 수주 확대를 목표로 하고 있다. 그러나 신흥시장은 수주량이 적고, 변동성이 높아 목표 달성이 어렵다. 본 연구는 부품기업 관점에서 신흥시장의 수주량 변동성 위험을 적정 수준으로 관리하면서, 영업이익을 극대화할 수 있는 제품 포트폴리오 최적화 방법을 제안한다. 기존 제품 포트폴리오 최적화 접근법과의 차별점은 세가지다. 첫째, 플랫폼 기반 대량맞춤형 생산에 의한 비용 절감효과를 반영한다. 둘째, 수주량 변동성을 고려한다. 셋째, 최소 영업이익률 유지라는 강건성 조건을 반영한다. 실무적으로는 신흥시장 개척의 재무 위험을 최소한도로 유지하면서, 점진적으로 시장점유율을 높여가는 동적 제품개발 전략 수립의 토대를 제공한다. 북미, 유럽, 아시아 18개 업체에 납품하는 다국적 부품제조기업의 파워리프트게이트 제품을 대상으로 실증연구를 수행했다.

  • 정부는 행정규제기본법 개정('19.07.17)을 통하여 경제활력 제고를 위하여 규제를 최소화하고 포괄적 네거티브 규제원칙을 적용하였다. 사전규제에서 우선허용-사후규제로의 정책환경이 변화하였다. 하지만 해양오염방제 자재·약제는 법적의무인증제도가 적용되어 제품을 판매할 때마다 검정을 실시하여 제조업체의 자율성을 억제하여 왔다. 또한 방제자재·약제 생산업체는 대부분 영세하여 구입자가 주문 의뢰 시마다 제품을 소량 생산하는 방식을 취하고 있다. 이에 해양오염방제 자재·약제 형식승인, 성능시험, 검정제도도 시대의 흐름에 맞춰 시장 및 업계의 자율성을 보장하고 효율성 향상을 위해 규제완화의 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 연구에서는 현 제도의 문제점을 파악하고 국내·외 제도를 비교·분석을 통한 개선방안을 제안하였다

  • 국내에서 중형급 무인동력비행장치(25kg < MTOW ≤ 150kg) 신고 건수 및 안전성인증 수요가 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 그리고 무인동력비행장치 안전성인증 불합격 사례도 증가하고 있으며, 제작 품질 문제가 불합격의 주요 원인으로 확인되고 있다. 그러나 무인동력비행장치 안전성인증 제도에서 제작업체에 대한 품질시스템 기준은 부재하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 무인동력비행장치 제작업체의 품질시스템 점검 기준을 수립하기 위해 국내 안전성인증 업무와 미국재료시험협회(ASTM)의 소형 무인항공시스템(sUAS)의 품질 기준을 분석하였다. 그리고 국내 제작사 실정에 맞는 품질시스템 기준 수립을 위해 중형급 무인동력비행장치 제작업체 현장실사를 통해 제작 품질시스템 특성을 추가 점검항목으로 반영한 제작업체 품질시스템 기준을 제안하였다. 그리고 제안된 품질시스템 기준에 대하여 국내 무인동력장치 제작업체 7개사를 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다.

시니어 남성용 드레스폼 개발을 위한 국내외 시판 드레스폼의 제품 및 치수체계 조사 (A Product and Sizing System Investigation of Domestic and Foreign Dress form for Development of Senior Men's Dress form)

  • This study researched the sizing system of dress form for apparel manufacturing in the domestic market. It aims to be used as basic data for the development of a dress form that could be used by manufacturers of senior men's clothing. Research focused on the sizes presented on the homepages of 17 dress form manufacturers in the USA, France, Japan, and Korea. Body measurement was made for senior men in their 50's over men (n=134). Six items were measured by the 'Standard body measurement of Size Korea'. The type of dress form in the domestic market can be classified into half-body type (upper body type and lower body type), torso, and whole-body type; in addition, each type is divided into upper arm, arm, crotch, and thigh. Korean dress form manufacturers produced/sold diverse kinds (size 7-9) for women; however, they used large/small sizes or product sizes for men without defining sizes. The chest size (93-105cm) has not been standardized while the rates of waist circumference, hip circumference and shoulder length (in accordance with the chest size) were all different. Global dress form brands manufactured reflecting body dimensions by the state organization USA ASTM. Japan JIS. For this reason, most domestic clothing businesses depend on imported dress forms. Especially, there were no dress forms for senior men. With the growing market for seniors, it would be necessary to produce senior dress forms for clothing production that reflect the body shapes and sizes of seniors.

  • The last decade has witnessed great improvements in power semiconductor devices thanks to the advanced design and process, which have made it possible to significantly improve the electrical performances of electronic systems while simultaneously reducing their site, weight and perhaps most importantly reducing their cost. Among the power semiconductor devices, IGBT will be a key semiconductor component for power industry since it has a huge potential to cover large areas of power electronics from small home appliances to heavy industries. Currently, only a few limited power semiconductor manufacturers supply most of the industrial consumptions of power IGBT and its modules. Therefore, a large portion of technology in the power industry is dependent on other advanced countries. In this regard, to independently build power IGBT devices and the relevant power module technology, Korean government initiated a new 5-year project 'Power IT,' which also aimed at booming the business of the power semiconductor and the allied industries. With the success of this power IT project, it is expected that the power semiconductor technology will be a basis to foster the high power semiconductor industry and moreover, there will be more innovative developments in the Korea region and globally Also, forming the channel between the customers and suppliers, it is possible to effectively develop the customized power products, which could strengthen the competitiveness of Korean power industry. Furthermore, the power industry including semiconductor manufacturers will be technologically self-supporting and be able to obtain good business opportunities, and eventually increase the share in the growing power semiconductor market, which could be positioned as a major industry in Korea.

  • As products have been more complex and customer's demands of personalized products are increasing, manufacturing system has been changed from mass production to mass customization production that makes small quantity but different kinds of product. In addition, it becomes important that manufacturers quickly respond to variable customer's demands and characteristic regulations in each country. Therefore, three prerequisites are essential for manufacturers to response agilely. First, manufacturing data should be monitored in real time, second, information is extracted from the data, and finally, the information is used to make manufacturing strategy. In this paper, the mobile dashboard system is presented. It visualizes manufacturing data on mobile devices, and measures performance of the shop floor through the information. The proposed system is composed of server and client, and is running on the R - the open source software for statistics. Four kinds of template are given for easy visualization through the system.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the ways of improving Korean apparel firms' competitiveness by examining the Korea's number one trading partner U.S. apparel industry. Especially, the Los Angeles area apparel industry which is the second largest and the primary market center on the west coast was analysed. The following strategies are suggested to Korean apparel firms to function more effectively in incleasingly competitive U.S. markets: l)Basics can be produced in lower wage countries meanwhile quick turnaround and high quality works can be produced either in Korea or U.S. 2)Manufacturers might try to have direct relationship with powerful retailers who have their own private labels of store-brand lines. 3)Apparel companies can open market showrooms in the California Market Center. For small firms they can contact with independent representatives who receive commissions for showing lines for manufacturers or rent space for showing the lines during market weeks. 4)Apparel firms can contact buying offices to introduce their products to retail buyers. 5)Korean firms can contact Korean-American apparel firms to gain easy access to U.S.Market.

Development of Contaminant Detection System using HTS SQUIDs

  • In terms of food safety,mixture of contaminants in food is a serious problem for not only consumers but also manufacturers. In general, the target size of the metallic contaminant to be removed is 0.5 mm. However, it is a difficult task for manufacturers to achieve this target, because of lower system sensitivity. Therefore, we developed a food contaminant detection system based on high-Tc RF superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs), which are highly sensitive magnetic sensors. This study aims to improve the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the system and detect a 0.5 mm diameter steel ball. Using a real time digital signal processing technique along with analog band-pass filters, we improved the SNR of the system. Owing to the improved SNR, a steel ball with a diameter as small as 0.3 mm, with stand-off distance of 117 mm was successfully detected. These results suggest that the proposed system is a promising candidate for the detection of metallic contaminants in food products.
