The NG-SDH system requires signal synchronization to synchronize incoming ethernet signal with GFP frame. The foreign nation research completes a chipset development until now and it secures a relation technique, but it does not secure a relation technique from domestic. Therefore, in this paper, we presented with signal synchronization method of Ethernet signal through GFP frame. We knew that the synchronized method of Ethernet signal through GFP-F must apply ingress & egress buffer and GFP Idle. We understood that the synchronized method of Ethernet signal through GFP-T must apply GFP Idle and $65B{\_}PAD$, and require maximum 3-bit addition & deletion of idle. Also we showed signal synchronization realization through simulation and obtained MTIE/TDEV characteristics and peak to peak jitter in egress output.

Ultrasonic pulse echo method comes to be difficult to apply to the multi-layered structure with very thin layer, because the echoes from the top and the bottom of the layer are superimposed. We can easily meet this problem when the silicon chip layer in the semiconductor is inspected by a SAM equipment using fairly low frequency lower than 20MHz by which severe attenuation in the epoxy mold compound of packaging material can be overcome. Conventionally, deconvolution technique has been used for the decomposition of superimposed UT signals, however it has disabilities when the waveform of the transmitted signal is distorted according to the propagation. In this paper, the wavelet transform based deconvolution(WTBD) technique is proposed as a new signal processing method that can decompose the superimposed echo signals with superior performances compared to the conventional deconvolution technique. WTBD method uses the wavelet transform in the pre-stage of deconvolution to extract out the common waveform from the transmitted and received signal with distortion. Performances of the proposed method we shown by through computer simulations using model signal with noise and we demonstrated by through experiments for the fabricated semiconductor sample with partial delamination at the top of silicon chip layer.

This paper suggests the novel light-weight signal processing algorithm for wireless sensor network applications which needs low computing complexity and power consumption. Exponential average method (EA) is utilized by real time, to process the magnetometer signal which is analyzed to understand the own physical characteristic in time domain. EA provides the robustness about noise, magnetic drift by temperature and interference, furthermore, causes low memory consumption and computing complexity for embedded processor. Hence, optimal parameter of proposal algorithm is extracted by statistical analysis. Using general and precision magnetometer, detection probability over 90% is obtained which restricted by 5% false alarm rate in simulation and using own developed magnetometer H/W, detection probability over 60~70% is obtained under 1~5% false alarm rate in simulation and experiment.

The many studies have been proceeding to express accurately the feature of a sudden signal and a uncertain system in the image processing field. It is well know that Fourier Transform is widely used for frequency analysis of any signal. However, The frequency transform domain is not used for expressing the sudden signal change and non-stationary signal at the time-axis by this method. This paper describes of image analysis by discrete wavelet transform. Wavelet modulus maxima on transformed plane gives the Lipschitz exponent expression, which is useful to examine the characteristics of signal or the edge of an image. It is possible to reconstruct the original image only using the few maxima points. The fractal analysis is applied as an examples. The visualized image of oil flow on a ship model is analyzed. The fractal variable is obtained by the maxima analysis and the good results on the exprement is obtained by the visualized image analysis.

Securing large amounts of training data in deep learning neural networks, including convolutional neural networks, is of importance for avoiding overfitting phenomenon or for the excellent performance. However, securing labeled training data in deep learning neural networks is very limited in reality. To overcome this, several augmentation methods have been proposed in the literature to generate an additional large amount of training data through transformation or manipulation of the already acquired traing data. However, unlike training data such as images and texts, it is barely to find an augmentation method in the literature that additionally generates bio-signal training data for convolutional neural network based human activity recognition. Thus, this study proposes a simple but effective augmentation method of bio-signal training data for convolutional neural network based human activity recognition. The usefulness of the proposed augmentation method is validated by showing that human activity is recognized with high accuracy by convolutional neural network trained with its augmented bio-signal training data.

With basis of the development of information communication techniques in recent year, the digital processing techniquy also has been growed fast. The digital processing technique have used signals - speech and image processing- for processing of transmission and analysis. After we get and save the signals. Effective signal processing techniques have varied filters and typical digital filters are FIR filter and IIR filter. The FIR digital filter is more secure because phase response characteristics have linear phase. But, FIR digital filters have a problem to product the Gibbs phenomenon generating around a discontinuous point. A propose of filer is to remove the problem. Therefore, in this paper I was proposed a method using FIR digital filter applied a modified window function and the method was compared with conventional methods.
Conventional cepstrum has been widely used to detect echo and fault signals embedded in noise. One of the problems of finding impulse signals using the conventional cepstrum in that it is normally very sensitive to signal to noise ratio (SNR). This paper proposes a signal processing method to detect impulse signal in noisy environment. Because the proposed method minimizes the variance of signal power at a cepstrum domain, it is suggested to be called as minimum variance cepstrum (MV cepstrum). Computer simulations have been performed to understand the characteristics of the MV cepstrum. Both mathematical approach and computer simulations confirmed that the MV cepstrum is a useful technique to detect impulse in noisy environment.
In the velocimeter, the ultrasonic pulse signal is used for measuring the profile velocity of moving targets distributed in space because of the merits of its high distance resolution and harmless affect to the human body. The velocity reading in conventional ultrasonic pulsed velocimeter depends on the wave pattern reflecting the spatial distribution of scatters and includes observational error due to the signal processing of analyzing pulse signal. In this paper, we evaluate an influence of the received waveform of pulsed signal on the velocity information by setting a model. Subsequently, in order to improve the distance resolution and to obtain precise velocity information without the influence of the spatial distribution of scatterers, we propose a new method for the analysis of Doppler pulsed signal, in which the pulsed signal is transformed into a phase function with local data. Finally, it is confirmed that the performance of the velocimeter is more improved in the proposed method than in the conventional one.

The on-board processor of satellite synthetic aperture radar(SAR) generates transmission signal by digital signal processing, converts it into an analog signal. At this time, the transmission signal generated from the baseband requires the frequency modulation to convert it to the high-frequency band in order to improve the stability. General frequency modulation method using local oscillator(LO) causes IQ imbalance due to phase error/magnitude error and these error reduce performance of SAR. To generate transmission signal without phase/magnitude error, this paper suggests design method of the frequency modulation method using digital to analog converter(DAC) at on-board SAR. For design, this paper analyzes the characteristic of DAC mode and uses pre-compensation filter. To analyze the proposed method performance, performance index are compared with IQ imbalance signals. This method is suitable for on-board SAR using fast sampling DAC and has the advantage of being able to solve IQ imbalances.

In this study, a planar respiratory motion is modeled by a 2-D linear expanding-shrinking movement. According to the introduced model, respiratory motion imposes phase error, non-uniform sampling and amplitude modulation distortions on the acquired MRI data. When the motion parameters are known or can be estimated, a construction algorithm based on superposition method was used to remove the MRI artifact. For the purpose of estimating unknown motion parameters, we used the spectrum shift method to find the respiratory fluctuation function, the x directional expansion coefficient and its center, and we also used the minimum energy method to find the y directional expansion coefficient and its center. Finally the effectiveness of this presented method is shown by computer simulations.
