The purpose of this study is to understand the feature and phenomena of women's costume in Choson dynasty by the approach of semiotics. In order to do so, F Saussure's linguistic symbol theory, C. Peirce's conception on semiology theory and cultural semiology of R. Barthes ware used as tool to analyse traditional women's costumes in $Chos\v{o}n$ dynasty. And I choose basic conceptions based on their semiotic theory. which were langue & parole. dennotation & connotation, paradigm & syntagm, code, and analysed. structure of sign, communication though the non-language. The fashion of the $Chos\v{o}n$ dynasty contains various meaning as sign symbol system and makes the communication possible as it is mentioned above. We nay understand the sign symbol system described in the fashion sign by analysing the structure and meaning operation of sign on the basis of social, political, and idealistic background of the times, to understand the polysemy quality of the fashion.

Although nano materials are used a lot in industries, there has not been any standard nano hazard graphic symbol. An experiment was conducted to know the comprehension ratio of newly designed eight nano graphic symbols. To compare the symbols with existing safety graphic symbols, other sixteen symbols were also included. 54 subjects evaluated the difficulties of graphic symbols on seven point Likert scale and answered the meaning for each symbol. The all eight nano safety symbols marked under 30% comprehension ratio. However, one of them didn't show any statistically significant difference with other existing safety symbols as like bio hazard, radiation, and laser. Therefore the nano symbol tested in the best could be adopted as the nano safety graphic symbol if it is sufficiently exposed in training period and used with warning label. The workers in industries using nano materials can be alerted and protect themselves where the sign is attached.

DMT 방식의 송·수신기는 파일롯 채널의 페이즈 정보를 이용하여 샘플동기를 맞추게 된다. 파일롯 채널의 페이즈 값은 심볼 단위로 행해지는 FFT 결과에서 구할 수 있으므로, 심볼동기를 샘플동기 이전에 맞추어 주어야 한다. DMT VDSL시스템의 경우, 심볼 내의 반복되는 구간사이의 상관성을 통해서 심볼동기를 구할 수 있게 된다. 수신신호의 부호를 기본으로한 최우도 추정함수를 사용하여 심볼동기를 구하는 기법에 대해 제안하였으며, Tx 윈도우에 의해, 심볼동기의 추정값이 잡음에 민감해지는 것을 막기위해 가중합을 적용한 추정 방법을 제안하였다. 송·수신기 사이에 샘플링 클럭 옵셋이 존재할 경우, 샘플동기를 위해 디지털 영역에서 샘플링 클럭 옵셋을 보정해주는 기법을 제안하였다.

The People usually adapt themselves to circumstances and its changes. in some cases they are try to improve it for better comfortable living environment. However various factors such as a building's own character cultual symbolism cause some problems in creating interior environment because of inappropriate visual communication. It is general fact that the problems of visual environment objects have not been solved organically under the total environmental concept. In this paper I try to find out how graphic symbol sign system a visual transfer process between people and phsical environment facts work on creating interior environmental analysis current cases and propose a solution.

본 논문에서는 광범위 고정형 무선 통신 시스템을 위한 개선된 초기 레인징 알고리즘을 제안한다. WiBro 및 통상적인 무선 통신 시스템에서는 송 수신단 간 왕복 지연이 1개의 OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 심벌 주기 내이므로, 초기 레인징 수행 시 주파수 영역 차동 상관 방식이 일반적으로 사용된다. 그러나, 넓은 셀 범위에서는 최대 시간 지연이 증가하여 기존 기법의 적용이 불가능하며, 성능 개선을 위한 누적 차동 상관 기법의 경우 큰 시간 오프셋 발생 시 추정치의 빈번한 부호 천이로 인해 추정 오차가 발생할 여지가 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 15 km 셀 범위를 고려한 레인징 채널 구조에서 전체 시간 오프셋을 정확히 추정하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 추정치 간 부호 비교를 통해 부호 오류를 정정하고, 채널 상관도, 누적횟수 및 정규화 과정의 잡음 감소 효과를 고려하는 가중치를 적용함으로써 추정 정확도를 향상시키며, 심벌 주기의 소수배 시간 오프셋을 보상한 후 첨두치 전력을 비교함으로써 정수 배 시간 오프셋의 추정이 가능하다.

The purpose of this study is to define the fundamentals of one symbolic concept, so calles vestment-sign, based on the logical relationship of sign system about the trichotomy by charles S. Peice's sign concept for the communication system of meaning in the non-linguistic image domain. To prove the argument of vestment-sign, I selected 3 type of vestment language by styliste, Elsa Schiaparel-li. The third image vestmental chosen here, titled“Larme-Illusion(1938)”,printed by Salvad-or Dali will produce one symbolic proposition as a logical result which is generated and developed through the interpretation of other images. First of all the text, which is manifested by Elsa Schiaparelli's first image vestmental, tit-led“Notation Musical(1937)”and is symbolized as one category in the representation of the form, is regarded symbolic and metaphorical from a standpoint that the title and the meaning is connected to the form. The second image vestment, titled“Ruches Noirs(1938)”represents externally splendid feminity man-ifested by the symbolic and metaphorical expression. And the purity of sensitivity aiming to humanity in the detail of the poetic feeling of naturalism makes us imagine the battle fild of furious sensitivity. Like as the result of the battle, the third image stimulated our eyesight with the“absence”of dressing function. The proposition of the text,《Death》which the third image delivers, constructs sign system to bring up a meaning with the disappearance of physical“signifier”. This establishment of the symbolic concept presents the etymological authority of symbol generation called“Design”.

본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.11a의 OPDM 시스템에서 짧은 훈련신호(Short Preamble)의 I(inphase)와 Q(quadrature) 성분의 부호만을 사용한 심볼동기 기법을 제시한다. 이 심블동기 기법에서는 짧은 훈련신호를 2배의 Nyquist 속도로 표본화하고 자기상관(autocorrelation)과 상호상관(cross-correlation)을 모두 적용한다. 이 동기기법의 장점은 짬은 훈련신호 동안에 수신신호의 ACG(automatic gain control)를 병행할 수 있고 그 구현회로도 복잡하지 않다는 것이다. 무선채널의 다중경로, 송수신기의 편차주파수, 그리고 잡음에 대한 모의실험을 통하여 제시된 심볼동기 기법의 성능을 검증한다.

Che Guevara spearheading the Cuban Revolution was not only the icon as the revolutionary to the New-leftists of the 1960s advocating the ideology of Marxism but, as the cultural revolutionary, had a tremendous influence on the younger generation living in the digital age Che Guevara take on a figure of both the symbol of the Leftist but the romantic revolutionary because he had the external features such as black beret, red stars, military upper jackets and trousers, beard and pipe tobacco. In fact, the symbolic image of Che Guevara was made as the popular image by the avantgarde artists and political vanguard forces of the times under the necessity of Cuban government. Afterwards, the image of Che Guevara has been patronized in making people of aware of the resistant and revolutionary image to capital, power and the power of the media and symbolized as the resistant image to the American capital as well as the revolutionary guerrilla. And his image has continued to be reproduced and symbolized for the commercial and political purposes and as the enthusiastic image of youth culture. This can be seen as having been created as a new image by the popular culture formed by the development of the cyber culture and mass media in the cyberspace shaped by contemporary 'N' generations. The use of Che Guevara's symbolic image was made in the fashion field as well as in the cultural and artistic circles. The borrowing of the icon of Che Guevara represented in a fashion field is attributed to his free spirit, and it can be seen that fashion exists as the vehicle for representing both the symbol system and the sign system containing ideologies and texts as the communicator of resistance to the regime and to social issues. Therefore, this study attempted to investigate the commercial iconization of Che Guevara in the 1990s by comparing the ideology of the symbol in the 1960s and the 1990s and inquire into the borrowing of his image by the fashion domain as well as the fashion worn by him by reference to domestic books and materials on the fashion site. Thereby, this study attempted to make clear that the borrowing of Che Guevara in the realm of fashion since the 1990s not only contained the meaningful interpretation as the symbolic code in the culture of young people living in a digital era but fashion performs an intervening role in the cultural phenomenon.

본 논문에서는 지능형 자동차의 주행보조 시스템 중의 하나인 교통 표지판 인식을 위한 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 잡음, 회전, 크기 등의 변형된 교통 표지판으로부터 기하학적 방법을 이용하여 변형된 정도를 추정하여 교통 표지판 원형으로 보정한다. 그리고 교통 표지판 인식을 위해서 보정된 표지판 영상으로부터 순차적 색기반 군집화(Sequential color-based clustering)에 의한 주의, 규제, 지시, 보조 등의 1차적 분류에 따라서 해당 교통 표지판의 형태 특징인 인식 심벌을 추출한다. 그리고 추출된 인식 심벌에 원형 추척법을 적용하여 교통 표지판 최종 인식 작업을 수행한다. 제안하는 방법의 성능 평가를 위해서 교통 표지판 영상에 잡음, 회전, 크기 등의 임의 변형을 적용하여 다양한 실험 영상을 만들고, 적용한 결과 단일 변형에서는 95%, 혼합 변형에서는 93% 이상의 인식률을 보인다.
