To obtain the lide comfortability, the impact caused by velocity pattern switching should be minimizLD b by removing the discontinuity of velocity and acceleration. In this paper, new velocity pattern generation m method which ensure the continuity of velocity and acceleration during pattern switching is proposed. P ProPOSLD velocity pattern also shorten the landing time to the target position.

Rapid detection of Anaplasma marginale with the Polymerase Chain Reaction in Cattle (중합효소연쇄반응을 이용한 소에 감염된 Anaplasma marginale의 신속한 진단)

  • The present study was carried out for the rapid and accurate detection of Anaplasma marginale in cattle using Polymerase Chain Reaction. One pair of primer, BAP-2 and AL34S, were designed to amplify a 409 Up fragment of the A marginale membrane surface protein encoding beta($msp{\beta}l$) gene with a hilly sensitive and specific PCR. A marginale isolated from naturally infected calf in Chonbuk area were used to obtain target genomic DNA for PCR. This study showed that a 409 bp of $msp{\beta}l$ gene fragment could be detected as little as 15 fg of purified A marginale genomic DNA. The amplified fragment with PCR was checked for the identification of $msp{\beta}l$ gene by enzyme restriction and sequencing. Also, the target DNA extracted directly from blood were used in the PCR reactions without prior purification to shorten the detection time. The PCR in the present study was considered convenient and rapid method for the detection of A marginale in whole blood of infected cattle.

  • Recently, there are an increasing needs for high speed rotating spindle which is an important mechanical ele- ment for a high efficiency machine tool in order to shorten machining time and cut production costs. The heat gen- eration is the most important problem in the motor integrated spindle. In this study, the effects of temperature distribution and thermal behavior according to the oil-air lubrication and cooling conditions are investigate theo- retically and experimentally on the motor-integrated spindle under unloading condition. The experimental spin- dle system is composed with the angular contact steel ball bearings, oil-air lubrication, air or oil jacket cooling system. To analyze the thermal behavior and cooling characteristics for the motor integrated spindle, the analysis using the finite element method is carried out. The analytical results are compared with the experimental results.

  • The tool overhang length affects tool deflection and chatter that should be reduced for machined surface quality, productivity and long tool lift. The shortest tool setting algorithm that uses a safe space is proposed and applied with simulation software in NC machining. The safe space in the coordinate fixed in the tool is computed by the virtual machining system that simulates NC machining by stock model, tool model and NC code. The optimal tool assembly that has largest diameter and shortest length is possible using the safe space. This algorithm has been applied over fifty companies for safe and rigid tool setting. The collision accident between holder and stock was reduced from 3 to 0 a year and the productivity was incensed about 15% by using faster feed rate acceptable for shorten tool length.

  • In this paper, structural analysis was conducted by ANSYS code for three dimensional finite element method to the pipe butt welding machine. Based on this numerical structural analysis, stress, strain and total deformation were obtained and the design change of the pipe butt welding machine was made along with improved productivity and shorten design period.

  • Top-down construction is a useful method of utilizing the working space, economic benefits and shorten the construction period. Precision construction of the elevator core is very important for safety of the top-down structure. In this study, the layout system for the field-BIM(Building Information Modeling) was used to precisely construct the elevator core in the basement and the ground. Through the layout system, it was possible to process the construction status, review the design results and construction errors, and confirm whether there is or not within the construction error range for elevator installation.

  • Tuberculosis (TB) is a major infectious disease that threatens the life and health of people globally. Here, we performed a metabolomic analysis of serum samples from patients with intractable TB to identify biomarkers that might shorten the TB treatment period. Serum samples collected at the commencement of patients' treatment and healthy controls were analyzed using the capillary electrophoresis and time-of-flight mass spectrometry metabolome analysis method. The analysis identified the metabolites cystine, kynurenine, glyceric acid, and cystathionine, which might be useful markers for monitoring the TB treatment course. Furthermore, our research may provide experimental data to develop potential biomarkers in the TB treatment course.

  • This building is a forty-eight story, 170 meters high multiple dwelling house with Dual Frame System (DFS), a coupled vibration system connecting two independent structures with hydraulic dampers. Generation of large deformation between two structures during earthquakes contributes to make the hydraulic dampers effective. To improve the aseismic performance more, this building adopts DFS hybrid system that consists of DFS and base isolation system. About typical floors, columns and beams are constructed with LRV precast concrete method that shorten the construction period greatly by integrating column-beam joints in column members.

  • With the discovery of metabolic mechanisms of alcohol fermentation and acetic acid fermentation in the 1800s and 1900s, the history of traditional vinegar became a turning point for changing to the history of science and technology. Since then, innovation in vinegar production has occurred, and the era of full-scale mass industrialization has opened. The most modern method, submerged fermentation, has improved the vinegar production process to produce much higher quality vinegar and provide vinegar with high productivity and quality uniformity. Innovative research for vinegar production is underway as various approaches have been developed to increase fermentation efficiency, reduce costs, and shorten fermentation time due to the trend of combining existing technologies and advanced technologies. Now that the development of the vinegar industry is currently focused on vinegar engineering, multidisciplinary approaches in various fields such as microbiology, chemistry, food technology, process engineering, and molecular biology are needed.

Effect of Mixing Time of Pre-Mixed Cement and Post-Mixed Cement on the Strength Development of the Concrete (프리믹스 및 포스트믹스 시멘트를 혼입시간이 콘크리트의 압축강도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study proposed the optimal mixing time for pre-mixed cement and post mixed cement using the statistical analysis method of box plots. Pre-mixed cement can prevent material seegregation, strength loss, and quality variation if mixed for at least 60 seconds, and the data median is shown to be within the box range. Post-mixed cement should be mixed for at least 180 seconds to prevent material segregation, strength loss, and quality variation, and compressive strength tends to increase with longer vibrating times. Therefore, it is suggested that using pre-mixed cement can shorten the vibrating time and increase the productivity of the concrete.
