  • The recent information society is affected by new technologies including EC(Electronic Commerce), CALS(Commerce At Light Speed), EDI(Electronic Data Interchange), telecommuting and teleconferencing. The research goal of this paper is to identify major failure factors to reduce the dysfunction of EC and to suggest possible strategies that overcome those obstacles. The research methodologies of major failure factors are very similar to those of critical success factors which were widely used in MIS research areas. Ideally EC provides the possibility of a win/win situation for vendors and consumers. A survey study was performed using questionnaires. The factor analysis was performed to identify failure factors. Several hypotheses were set up to identify the major failure factors to reduce the dysfunction of EC. The regession analysis was performed to test those hypotheses and to understand the relationships between the major failure factors identified and the performance variables such as satisfaction, usage, and usefulness. Finally, the paper suggests alternatives to activate EC in terms of regulations, social rules, a technological model, etc.

  • This research has seven factors such as top management leadership, belt system operation, implementation of systematic methods, adequate project performance measurement, customer focus performance, quality performance and business performance. Those are critical to correct implementation of Six Sigma. I set seven hypotheses which represented the relationships among the seven factors, gathered questionnaires and analyzed the data. Top management leadership affected positively the adequate project performance measurement and the belt system operation, The belt system operation affected the implementation of systematic methods positively and it also affected the adequate project performance measurement. It affected positively the customer focus performance, the quality performance and the business performance, respectively.

  • Maternal interactions during mother-child problem solving tasks were analyzed by marital satisfaction, parenting stress, and child attachment security. Forty 36-to 52-month-old children and their mothers were observed at home. Mothers' ratings of marital satisfaction and parenting stress were collected by questionnaires, and Attachment Q-set assessed child attachment security. Marital satisfaction and child attachment security were negative1y related to parenting stress. Marital satisfaction, parenting stress, and attachment security were related to maternal behaviors. The relations between child's attachment security and maternal behaviors were mediated by parenting stress. Stronger child attachment security was related to lower parenting stress, which in turn contributed to competent maternal behaviors during problem solving.

  • The main objective of this study is to contribute to a better understanding of the antecedents of acceptance of information technology by agricultural managers. Questionnaires were administered to potential adopters and users of PC-based communications. Results indicate that potential adopters base their adoption decisions on a sparser set of innovation characteristics than suggested by innovation diffusion literature and users and potential adopters differ on their determinants of behavioral intention and attitude.

  • The IT implementation literature suggests that various implementation factors play critical roles in the success of an information system; however, there is little empirical research about the implementation of data warehousing systems has unique characteristics that may impact the importance of factors that apply to it. In this study, a cross-sectional survey investigated a model of data warehousing success. Data warehousing managers and data suppliers from 51 organizations completed paired mail questionnaires on implementation factors and the success of the warehouse. The purpose of this study is to identify which factors have a positive impact on the successful implementation of DW among organizational implementation success, project implementation success, and technical implementation success which are selected as implementation factors of DW. To do so, this study comprehensively analyze the previous studies on the success factors of the information system and DW to develop the study model and set the hypothesized. Then, it verified the hypothesis via the empirical analysis after collecting the materials through the survey. Finally, the discussion of the study's results, offered the implications of the findings, and the conclusions of the findings followed.

For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on the learning workers who conducted the training in the IT field, and 302 valid questionnaires were used for the analysis. The research model was set up to test exploratory factor and confirmatory factor analysis and hypothesis, and the research hypothesis was tested by applying structural equation. The effects of job behavior on job effectiveness were positively related to job satisfaction, customer orientation, and organizational commitment.

  • This article examines customer repurchase intention change. Specially we focus whether pre-purchase expectation and post-purchase satisfactions to retailers contribute to repurchase intention change. The previous works of customer satisfaction and repurchase intention were empirically tested the product based on the disconfirmation theory. But this study present the relations between the satisfaction and repurchase intention to stores. First, this study deliberately classified the types of stores. And I set the repurchase intention process apart into three part for empirical wok. In one part, the effect of trust has on expectation was tested. At the second procedure I test the expectation impact to satisfaction. Part three was about the relations between satisfaction and repurchase. In empirical test, convenience 200 sample was used. For these sample I use questionnaires that include the intensity of repurchase intention to postpurchase dissonance. Statistically regression uses as a solid tool to prove the relations between consumer satisfaction and repurchase. MANOVA results support the level of effect that different each store. They were supported through regression analysis. Also, by MANOVA the difference of them was turned out to be significant.

  • The purposes of the study were to investigate the participation of artists in paper circuit computing learning and to conduct an in-depth study on the formation and development of practical knowledge. To do this, we selected as research participants six artists who participated in the learning program of an art museum, and used various methods such as pre-open questionnaires, participation observation, and individual interviews to collect data. The collected data were analyzed based on community of practice theory. Results showed that the artists participated in the learning based on a desire to use new technology or find a new work production method for interacting with their audiences. In addition, the artists actively formed practical knowledge in the curriculum and tried to apply paper circuit computing to their works. To continuously develop the research, participants formed a study group or set up a practical goal through planned exhibitions. The results of this study can provide implications for practical approaches to, and utilization of, paper circuit computing.

  • Cervical cancer is an important woman's health problems worldwide, especially in low socio-economic countries. The aim of this study was to compare the Pap smear screening results between Akha hill tribe and urban women who live in Chiang Rai province, Thailand. Screening was conducted for 1,100 Akha women and 1,100 urban women who came to have the Pap smear at Chiangrai Prachanukroh Hospital and 1 private cytology laboratory from January to June 2008. The demographic characteristics and factors related to abnormal Pap smears of these women were gathered using closed model questionnaires. Abnormal Pap smears were defined according to the Bethesda 2001 system. The results showed that the prevalence of abnormal Pap smears was 12.2% in Akha women and 4.5% in urban women. The highest prevalence of Pap abnormalities was found in the 41-50 years age group in both populations (4.5% in Akha and 1.7% in urban women). In both populations, abnormal Pap smears were found in <21 years age groups. From the questionnaires, the possible risk factors related to the higher prevalence of abnormal Pap smears in Akha women were early age at marriage (${\leq}17$ years), high frequency pregnacies and high parity and no/low education level. In conclusion, cervical cancer control by education and early detection by Pap smear screening is necessary for hill tribe women. More Pap smear screening service units should be set to improve the coverage for the risk group women who got married in young age, especial in ethnic groups.

  • The present study has the purpose of investigating the moderating effects of social support which college students may feel in the process of their emotional transfer from hopelessness to happiness. For this purpose, a survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 734 students enrolled in the 4-year-course colleges located in Jeollabuk-do. Frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis and hierarchial regression analysis were performed to process the data collected from questionnaires. Major outcomes of the analyses could be summed up as follows: First, hopelessness turned out to reduce happiness. Second, from the hierarchial regression analysis in which happiness was set as a dependent variable and hopelessness and social support were input gradually, it was learned that hopelessness affected happiness negatively (-) while social support exercised impact in the positive (+) direction as hopelessness had influence on happiness. Based on the results of the study, practical and political implications were discussed with a view to prepare positive mechanism such as promotion of college students' mental health and social support.
