일부 급식 서비스 기업의 인턴 교육 프로그램에 관한 연구 (Study on the Dietetic Internship Program of Catering Company)

  • The purposes of this research were to examine the effect of the catering company's dietetic internship program through a self-evaluating ability test about management performance between pre and post internship programs and consequently to suggest improvement in the internship program. In this study, two types of questionnaires were conducted in July and October 2006, targeting 41 dietetic interns who trained in a 6 months internship program. Except the 4 dropped interns, data from 37 interns were collected and used for statistical analysis, using the SPSS Win 11.0 version. The results of this study were as follows: First of all, the analysis on the effect of the internship program according to classified management segments showed significant improvements in the following order: purchase management (p<0.001), computer program management (p<0.001), facilities management (p<0.001), accounting management (p<0.01), personnel management (p<0.01), retention management (p<0.01), sanitation management (p<0.01), service management (p<0.01) and foodservice management (p<0.01). However, there was no significantly improvement in management of clients. Secondly, the result of the analysis on the details of each management segment that were significant improvement and changing score was the top 5 duties were as follows: In the purchase management, the score of weekly and daily order management was increased 1.0 (p<0.001), the score of weekly inventory management was 0.81 (p<0.001). In the computation office management, expenses handling through a computer program was 0.65 (p<0.01). In the personnel management, the score of work schedule management increased 0.81 (p<0.001). In the accounting management, the score of monthly profit and loss account management was 0.65 (p<0.001). Furthermore, qualified educational programs connected with the internship program will have to be systematically developed and continually carried out in order to improve service and management abilities of branch managers.

대학생 진로에 영향을 미치는 서비스 인턴십 참여결정 콘텐츠 요인 분석 (Study on Service Internship Participation Determinant Contents of Undergraduate Students to Influence Their Career)

  • 본 연구는 항공서비스학과 학생을 대상으로 진로에 영향을 미치는 서비스 인턴십 참여결정 콘텐츠요인을 알아보고 이를 중심으로 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 서비스 인턴십 참여결정 콘텐츠요인을 알아보기 위해 SPSS 18.0을 활용하여 이항로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 개인특성, 성격 5요인, 진로준비행동, 진로결정자기효능감, 사회적 지지를 독립변인으로, 서비스 인턴십 경험유무를 종속변인으로 설정하였다. 분석결과, 개인특성 변인에서는 항공서비스학과 학생들의 학년, 학점수준, 해외체류경험, 비행기 탑승경험 등이 서비스 인턴십 참여결정 콘텐츠로 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 성격 5요인이 추가로 투입된 모형에서는 개인특성 변인 외에 성격 5요인 중 외향성이 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 진로준비행동이 추가로 투입된 모형에서는 개인특성 중 학년을 제외한 학점수준, 해외체류경험, 비행기 탑승경험, 성격 5요인 중 외향성이 통계적으로 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 진로준비 행동은 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 진로결정자기효능감, 사회적 지지가 차례로 추가로 투입된 모형에서도 개인특성 중 학년을 제외한 학점수준, 해외체류경험, 비행기 탑승경험, 성격 5요인 중 외향성이 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤으나 진로결정자기효능감, 사회적 지지는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 항공서비스학과 대학생들에게 영향을 미치는 인턴십 참여결정 콘텐츠요인들을 중심으로 살펴보고 학생들의 취업과 연계하여 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 시사점을 주고자 한다.

우리나라 병원 수련영양사의 교육 프로그램 현황 (Present Status of Dietetic Internship Program in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the standardized manual for dietetic internship. The general information of the dietetic internship program in Korea was gathered and of dietetic internship(DI) in the USA was also surveyed. The existence of DI program manual, the number of intern and length of the dietetic internship program, and other general information were investigated. At first, the questionnaire was developed and mailed to 130 hospitals in Korea and the number of returned questionnaires was 42 showing participating rate of 28%. Second, telephone survey was carried out and the number of response was 40 out of 46 participating rate of 87%. The results of this study could be summarized as follow. 1. eneral informations of dietetic internship program in Korea; The hospital having a dietetic internship program was 31.7% and of them 14.6%(12 hospitals) have a manual developed by themselves. The number of dietetic intern per hospital was 2.0$\pm$ 1.4. The length of the program was from 3 to 12 months. Ten hospitals (38.5%) have a only food service program and 16 hospitals (62.5%) have both food service and clinical program. Seventy one percent (58 hospitals) of total hospital were willing to use the well developed standardized dietetic internship manual. 2. eneral information of Dietetic Internship Program in the USA; Two hundred fifty nine hospital had the dietetic internship program approved by ADA. The number of dietetic intern in each hospital was 10.6$\pm$ 6.3. The mean length of the program was 13.6$\pm$ 6.3 months. Twenty seven percent of institution have coordinated internship/masters degree program. The range of tuition for DI program was from 300 to 30,855(otherwise, interns were payed by the hospital in Korea). As a conclusion, the standardized dietetic internship program for the clinical dietitian as nutrition professionals to carry out their job at the hospitals should be developed. And the coordinated internship/masters degree program could be considered to improve the skill levels and job performances of clinical dietitian.

창업인턴십교육 서비스 품질이 창업역량과 창업의지에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Startup Internship Education Service Quality on Entrepreneurial Capability and Entrepreneurial Intentions)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to examine the casual relationships among startup internship service quality and entrepreneurial capability, entrepreneurial intention in startup education. Also, we intended to explore significant factors on use entrepreneurial intention through causal model analysis in the viewpoint of total effect. Methods: Questionnaire, as a research tool, has gotten validity and reliability through literature study, exploratory study and pretest and sample 123 was selected. To carry out statistical treatment of pretest and main analysis, SPSS18.0 were employed and regression model was employed as analysis method. Results: Result of this study shows as follows. Three factors (empathy, responsiveness and assurance) have an effect entrepreneurial capability and entrepreneurial intention. We found that with an importance of empathy, responsiveness and assurance can be useful and significant factors in causal relationship of startup internship education. Conclusion: The present study shows that three factors(empathy, responsiveness and assurance) in via of entrepreneurial capability and entrepreneurial intention, were important factors that related startup education have to emphasize to raise performance, And also we confirmed new 5 factor 'empathy, responsiveness, assurance, reliability and tangibles'through this study. However, the present study has some limitations to be studied in the future.

시간제 간호사 및 인턴간호사의 직무만족도에 관한 비교연구 (Comparative Study on the Job Satisfaction of Part-time Nurses and Internship Nurses)

  • Recently, Korean health care industry managers are paying more attention to customer oriented service, the rationalization of business administration, and quality control of service to adjust their business to outer environment since IMF bailout program. They are focusing on the cost reduction through remodeling the size and structure of man power, viz. labor flexibility. Nurses are not free from this juncture and contingent nurses are increasing fast. This article intends to verify the actual condition of two types of contingent nurses -part-time nurses and internship nurses-and to compare their job satisfaction to provide basic resource for efficient management of nurse man power. The concrete goals of this article are; Firstly, to verify the actual condition of their employment. Secondly, to compare their job satisfaction. And Thirdly, to the relation between employment condition and job satisfaction. To accomplish these research goals, a statistical survey was executed, in which 384 questionnaires - 66 for manager nurses, 318 for contingent nurses-were given to nurses working at 66 general hospitals-which have at least 100 beds-in Seoul. Among them, 121 questionnaires-of 28 general hospitals-were returned. Then, the data coded and submitted to mean, standard deviation, T-test, variance analysis (ANOVA), correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis with SAS program. The research results of the contingent nurses are followings: 1. Two types of contingent nurses shows similar age spans: they are mostly 21 - 30 years old and unmarried. But internship nurses have high level of educational career. Part - time nurses spread at general beds, out -patient part, intensive care part, operation part, etc, but internship nurses work mostly at general beds. 2. Two groups shows difference in actual employment condition: average employment career of part -time nurses is 7.0 months but internship nurses' is 2.0 months: average duty-on days per month of part - time nurses are 23.7 days but internship nurses' are 24.8 days. But there are little difference in average working time per day: 7.7 hours for part -time nurses and 0 hours for internship nurses. 3. The average wage per month for part -time nurses is 836,026 won but for internship nurses is 557,428 won-66.7% of part-time nurses'. Both groups are enjoying little additional pay. 4. Both groups are getting job not so much through advertisement of newspaper or hospitals as through acquainted person or college. 5. Both groups show very high level of job satisfaction: 3.2195 for part -time nurses and 3.2881 for internship nurses. But they show very low satisfaction on payment level compared with other categories and two groups show meaningful difference(P<.0001). 6. The multiple regression test reveals the factors related with job satisfaction: wage level, working part(OR or ICU), age, job career, and motive of contingent job-taking('because I can take care of family duties at the same time') influence positively: motive of contingent job-taking('because I can work regularly without alternation') influences negatively.

Virtual Internship Experiences of Library and Information Science Students During the Pandemic

  • This study aimed to discover the notable experiences of Library and Information Science students in a virtual internship program. It employed qualitative descriptive research design by thematically analyzing the monthly internship journal of the interns. Using Colaizzi's method to identify themes from their experiences, the study revealed that interns expected to gain knowledge and skills on operations, services, and new information communication technologies in libraries. Orientation was found helpful in identifying the things interns needed to prepare. The interns faced issues from procrastination and technical difficulties, which they coped with employing avoidance strategies. Overall, the internship was viewed as an opportunity to learn and navigate the online digital system of the library despite the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. They realized their capacity and reflected on which competencies need improvement. In conclusion, students still learned the necessary knowledge and skills of a librarian; experienced the challenges faced in an actual library and were provided with various opportunities and realizations regarding the practice of librarianship. This study proposed a three-stage framework that outlines the involvement of the supervising instructors, librarians, and interns in the internship program from the preparation to the process and post-assessment.

플랜트 해외인턴 지원사업의 정량적 성과분석 (A Quantitative Performance Analysis of Foreign Internship System for Plant Industry)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 경제성장의 견인차 구실을 할 플랜트산업의 전문인력 양성을 위해 추진하고 있는 플랜트 해외인턴 자원사업 중 2010년도 사업에 대하여 그 성과를 정량적으로 분석하고, 사업에 대한 개선사항을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 2010년 12월 6일부터 12월 10일까지 본 사업에 참여하고 있는 기업과 참가자의 근무현장을 실사하였고, 현장실사내용을 평가분석하고, 2010년도 성과를 정량적으로 분석하여 평가하였다. 당초 400명 파견이 목표였으나, 402명을 해외현장으로 파견하였으며, 월별, 전공별, 지역별, 기업유형별 인턴사원의 파견 실적과 취업취약계층에 대한 지원 실적을 분석하였다. 본 사업의 성공적인 진행을 위해서는 채용연계를 전제로 하는 인턴과정으로의 확대, 대국민 홍보 추진의 필요성, 참여 대학과의 지속적인 협력관계 구축, 그리고 참여기업과 협회 그리고 수료자들 간의 네트워크 강화가 요구된다.

간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Clinical Competence among Nursing Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the association of factors related to clinical practice training for clinical competence among nursing students, and to analyze those factors influencing clinical competence, providing recommendations for improving their clinical competence and clinical learning environment. This descriptive correlative study completed organized questionnaires from 557 nursing students. The data was analyzed by SPSS 19.0. The most important factor affecting the clinical competence among nursing students was teaching effectiveness (${\beta}=.22$). followed by critical thinking (${\beta}=.19$). and the professional self-concept (${\beta}=.19$). The explained variable for clinical competence was 45.2% in nursing students. Thus, the development of an effective clinical internship program is important for strengthening nursing students' clinical competence. We suggest that the capability of nursing students should be strengthened and effective clinical internship programs should be developed to improve the clinical competence of nursing students.

Kano 모델에 기반한 국내외 조리교육 서비스 품질속성 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis of the Educational Service Quality of Domestic and Foreign Culinary Schools using the Kano Model)

  • The purpose of this study was to use the Kano model to compare and analyze the educational service quality attributes of domestic and foreign culinary arts schools. For this purpose, a questionnaire-based survey was completed by 312 students who were studying in domestic and foreign culinary schools. The results of the study indicated that 23 of the total 25 attributes were significantly different between domestic and foreign culinary arts school.; the "minium 4 hour-kitchen class" and "mandatory internship program" were classified into "indifferent quality" for domestic schools and a "must-be quality" for foreign schools; "well-organized internship guidebook", "kitchen class limited to 20 students", "introducing the latest food or restaurant trends", "library with the latest publications related to major", "objective instructor's evaluation", "detailed instructor's evaluation", "instructor's field experience", and "decent communication skills on the part of the instructor" attributes were classified into "attractive quality" for domestic schools and "must-be quality" for foreign schools; and "kitchen classes operated by block system", and "foreign instructors for each ethnic cuisine" attributes were classified into "indifferent" and "attractive quality" for both domestic and foreign schools, respectively. Also, according to the Better and Worse quotient designed by Timko, there were more attributes for domestic school than for foreign school that scored over 0.5 in the Better category and fewer attributes for domestic than the foreign scored over 0.5 in the Worse category. The results also indicate that, students in foreign schools receive an educational service of better quality than students in a domestic school. As a result, this research suggests significant implications to develop culinary educational services.

도서관의 정보의뢰봉사에 관한 고찰 (A study on the information and referral services in libraries)

  • The overall goal of this study is to identify what I'||'&'||'R is, and what services should be offered as legitimate I'||'&'||'R actives. The gist of the study is as follows: 1. The shift of the clients targeted to receive the services from disadvantageous to every person. 2. Ambiguity in I'||'&'||'R definition. Because it is hard to distinguish I'||'&'||'R service from the traditional reference service, and shifting of clients, the establishment of the definition was very difficult. Instead of a definite answer, the criteria for "I'||'&'||'R Providers" was drawn. 3. Most provided services were simple and complex information giving based on resource file. Constructing resource file is a major component of I'||'&'||'R service. 4. From 1980s, many I'||'&'||'R providing libraries adapted computer a n.0, pplications. 5. Social work and library-internship was advised to conduct a cooperative project by NCLIS, I'||'&'||'R Task Force. 6. In the high technological era, there continue to be many people who need the su n.0, pportive relationship. I'||'&'||'R is to optimize both the service and clients. Librarian must learn from the principle of high tech/high touch.
