Conditional Access Authentication and Management System for IPTV Service (IPTV 서비스를 위한 수신권한 인증 및 관리 시스템)

  • Currently broadcasting and telecommunication has integrated, And IPTV Service has appeared who called TPS(Triple Play Service) which integrated with broadcasting, telecommunication and Phone Service. IPTV provide broadcasting service and VOD(Video on Demand) service, and it must be satisfied digital content security. For this condition, IPTV Forum working on standardization of interface for digital content security. The Security solution for broadcasting and VOD are CAS (Conditional Access System) and DRM(Digital Rights Management). But these solutions manufactured by many vendors, so there is no inter-operability. And after finished standardization of interface for CAS and DRM system, the problem of inter-operability with them will be issued. For this reason, Rights management system which possible to operate independently with platform is necessary. In this paper, To protect multimedia digital content, we designed and implemented Conditional Access Management System.

The Effects of Service Quality and System Quality on Customer's Satisfaction and Continued Usage Intention of N-Screen Service Regarding Mobile Network Condition (무선망 환경에 따른 N스크린의 서비스품질과 시스템품질이 고객만족과 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper studied the effects of service quality and system quality that affect customer's satisfaction and continued usage intention regarding mobile network conditions. The hypotheses and research models were completed using research factors of service quality(reactivity, empathy) and system quality(connectivity, ease of use, channel-mobility) borrowed from previous studies on DMB and IPTV. The hypotheses and research models were verified through experiments and surveys. The key finding showed that customer's expectation on service quality and system quality under fast network(Wifi) was higher than that of under slow network(3G). Furthermore, it showed that users react more sensitive to service quality than to system quality such as network speed. Based on the results, this study has the implication for expanding the understanding of the factors used in previous DMB and IPTV studies by applying them in N-screen domain.

  • Presently, It is required to change convergence the role of hardware system and software technology that promoted trust of In-Vehicle for integrated complex system visibility evaluation. There is possibility for the period system can invoke unpredictable confusing blank state. The blank state systems have ecosystem characteristics that are supplied, maintained and operated through the complex interactions of technology and culture. Using universal middleware can support the life-cycle model and increase the visibility of complex systems and prepare for confusing situations. In this study, based on universal middleware, data and service dynamic standardized modules were evaluated to support stable system visibility platform. The system visibility module consists of Intelligent Pervasive Cloud module, Memorial Service module and Life Cycler connection module. In addition, the analysis results are supported by various network application service standards through platform independent system and architecture.

  • This paper provides a case for the comprehensive performance management system in Public Procurement Service. Public Procurement Service set up the BSC system at the beginning of 2006 by improving and complementing the earliest performance management system and made it possible to automatically connet the performance measurement and evaluation of the departmental and person by using CSF and KPI, which result from their mission and strategic assignments. Therefore, the public service of the adminstration is able to offer better customer service, as the private corporations do, apply the incentive and disincentive policies to the personnel and reward administration and contribute to changing the administration into an organization of competition and performance compensation. The application of the BSC system enables the strengthening of the individual evaluation system in the departmental, integration of various evaluations into one, and the establishment of a monitering system of achievement rate in the objective management in the periodic results. Such a case study of Public Procurement Service will determine the course of establishment of the BSC in other public institutions and suggest many successful methods and ideas for the performance management system.

  • Service engineering is a new discipline which aims at basically understanding of service and a concrete methodology using engineering approach for service design. In this paper is introduced the serviset graph [7] which is a comprehensive concept to represent service products, processes, and operation activities. The proposed concept is a degree of commonality index in a service product in order to deal with service mass customization using the input-output analysis in economic model.

  • Recently, It has enlarged various service requirements for the market of elevator with the environment of IT convergency. In this paper, we propose the information and control system of elevator based on media streaming service that is extended from the existing control system of an elevator. There is the service environments based on Internet for architecture of information communication in the framework of the suggested streaming service. We use this framework to operate and integrate the various services of elevator system. And also, we so apply to the user requirements easily that we can construct the smart elevator environment by convergence home network and various electronic devices based on IT.

  • The OPRoS (Open Platform for Robotic Service) framework provides uniform operating environment for service robots. As an OPRoS-based service robot has to support real-time as well as non-real-time applications, application of Windows NT kernel based operating system can be restrictive. On the other hand, various benefits such as rich library and device support and abundant developer pool can be enjoyed when service robots are built on Windows NT. The paper presents a user-mode component scheduler of OPRoS, which can provide near real-time scheduling service on Windows NT based on the restricted real-time features of Windows NT kernel. The component scheduler thread with the highest real-time priority in Windows NT system acquires CPU control. And then the component scheduler suspends and resumes each periodic component executors based on its priority and precedence dependency so that the component executors are scheduled in the preemptive manner. We show experiment analysis on the performance limitations of the proposed scheduling technique. The analysis and experimental results show that the proposed scheduler guarantees highly reliable timing down to the resolution of 10ms.

  • For the improvement of information service, users' transaction log can be stored to the system, and the log analysis should be included in the process of service improvement. Also there are differences within kinds of users' log records and methods of analysis according to the institution's strategy. This paper describes the kinds of log records from users' behavior on information system. And its goal is to consider the case of information center which operates log analysis, and to derive a plan for improvement of information services.
