problem of pedestrian localization using mobile nodes containing impulse radio ultra wideband (IR-UWB) is considered. IEEE 802.15.4a-based IR-UWB can achieve accurate ranging. However, the coverage is as short as 30 m, owing to the restricted transmit power. This factor may cause a poor geometric relationship among the mobile nodes and anchor nodes in certain environments. To localize a group of pedestrians accurately, an enhanced cooperative localization method is proposed. We describe a sequential algorithm and define problems that may occur in the implementation of the algorithm. To solve these problems, a batch algorithm is proposed. The batch algorithm can be carried out after performing the sequential algorithm to linearize the nonlinear range equation. When a sequential algorithm cannot be performed due to a poor geometric relationship among nodes, a batch algorithm can be carried out directly. Herein, Monte Carlo simulations are presented to illustrate the proposed method and verify its performance.
This study examined the effects of perceived discrimination on multicultural adolescents regarding feelings of This study examined the direct effect of socially prescribed perfectionism on interpersonal anxiety in upper elementary school students and the sequential mediating effect of dichotomous thinking and rejection sensitivity on this relationship. The sample comprised 306 upper elementary school students (grades 4 to 6; 149 boys, 48.7%) in Seoul, Incheon, and Busan. The Data were collected through an online self-report questionnaire completed by the participants and analyzed using SPSS version 27.0 and MPlus version 8.7 software. The analyses revealed three key findings. First the direct effect of socially prescribed perfectionism on interpersonal anxiety was not statistically significant. Second dichotomous thinking mediated the relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and interpersonal anxiety, whereas rejection sensitivity did not. Finally, socially prescribed perfectionism influenced interpersonal anxiety through the sequential mediation of dichotomous thinking and rejection sensitivity. In conclusion, although socially prescribed perfectionism does not directly influence interpersonal anxiety, children may experience interpersonal anxiety in situations involving dichotomous thinking due to socially prescribed perfectionism, leading to rejection sensitivity. These findings suggest that interventions for interpersonal anxiety in upper elementary school students should focus on psychological problems attributed to socially prescribed perfectionism.
Objective: The present study aimed to investigate the sequential mediation effects of creative home environment and preschoolers' playfulness on the relationship between mothers' play beliefs and preschoolers' happiness. Methods: The subjects of this study were 233 preschoolers between the ages of 3 and 5 and their mothers. The research for exchange relationship in customer's perspective is meaningful especially in service, considering distinctive characteristics of service operations such as customer participation in the process whereas most of the recent related researches have been focused on employee's interaction with organization, leader, team and customer. In this study for beauty art service, the exchange party's characteristic is defined with beauty salon's reputation, staff's professionalism and customer's self-esteem. Also the exchange relation perception is classified into symbolism and interaction, Then the directional relations on customer's perspective are empirically investigated in the sequential order of the exchange party's characteristics, the exchange relation perception, the relationship quality and behavioral intention. In addition, the study examined the meditation effect via relationship quality between the exchange relation perception and the behavioral intention. Followings are confirmed from the statistical test with structural equation modelling:Symbolism is significantly caused by all of professionalism, reputation and self-esteem in the descending order of effect size whereas interaction is significantly influenced by only professionalism. The exchange relation perception has significant effect on the relationship quality, in turn which significantly affects behavioral intention. The exchange relation perception shows the significant indirect effect meditated by relationship quality and the insignificant direct effect on behavioral intention. This paper concludes with contribution of this study, managerial implication of the research findings and further research issues.

This study aimed to examine the effect of adolescents' perceived parental blame (criticism) on learned helplessness and to examine whether maladaptive metacognitive beliefs and rumination sequentially mediate the relationship between parental blame and learned helplessness. The participants were 316 adolescents (Mean age=16.7, SD=0.75; 137 male, 179 female) attending grades 1st and 2nd in high school in South Korea. The participants were selected using a snowball sampling method, while the data was collected via an online self-report questionnaire. This survey was completed by the participants and analyzed using SPSS 28.0, Amos 26.0 (IBM Co., Armonk, NY), and PROCESS macro version 4.2 (Model 6; Hayes, 2022). The main results are summarized as follows. Firstly, the adolescents' perceived paternal and maternal blame indicated significant direct effects on learned helplessness. Secondly, rumination mediated the effect of paternal and maternal blame on learned helplessness. Lastly, paternal and maternal blame significantly affected learned helplessness through the sequential mediating effects of maladaptive metacognitive beliefs and rumination. This study elucidates the causal structure among the various factors influencing learned helplessness in adolescents, focusing on parental blame, maladaptive metacognitive beliefs, and rumination. Furthermore, considering the verified sequential mediating effects of maladaptive metacognitive beliefs and rumination in the relationship between adolescents' perceived parental blame and learned helplessness, these findings suggest that modifying maladaptive metacognitive beliefs may help to reduce learned helplessness among adolescents who perceive high levels of parental blame.
