Cooperative teaching emerged as one of the interesting topics on curriculum administration and teaching-learning method in BSA(Busan Science Academy). The purpose of this study is to do research on social studies learning with respect to cooperative teaching, and to develop the model of cooperative teaching. The results of this study are as follows: First, We surveyed both the concept of cooperative teaching in all aspects and the methodological application on cooperative teaching. Second, We searched all teaching-learning methods in BSA in terms of cooperative teaching. Third, We studied cooperative teaching system on social studies considering current environmental factors. Forth, We performed seminar class which is constructed as one of the cooperative teaching models. The topic of seminar was 'The distortion and falsification of Koguryeo history in China'. The participants of seminar were volunteer students and social studies teachers whose subjects were geography, history, social studies, and ethics. And the participants conducted the research and cooperative learning based on teacher's subjects and subtopics. Fifth, The interactions between teacher and teacher, student and student, and teacher and student in the process of seminar preparation and publication were conducted very excitedly. Especially we found the possibility of cooperative teaching by the interaction between teachers. Finally, students developed the mind-frame to participate in social studies learning actively, and learned the method to research social affairs for themselves, and extended the eyes to approach social affairs with different opinions.

This seminar outlines the technology involved in the backlighting of TFT LCDs. It covers basic terminology, lighting requirements, lamp types and optical techniques. These will be reviewed and compared. Optical factors will be covered and related to space constraints. The spectral requirements, luminance levels, system efficacy, power requirements, lamp temperature, as well as other parameters affecting system performance will be discussed.

It is important to consider not only audio/video but presentation way, in video conferencing, seminar, lecture based network communication. The method to transmit image of a chalkboard used in traditional seminar, conference, lecture are one of difficulties for remote environment since it requires techniques high-resolution transmission and talking films. In this paper we implemented real-time multimedia shared board system for shared effective multimedia presentation using connection-oriented socket of TCP. In this system, decreasing cost of related system construction, improve of data reliableness and interaction, presentation delay time be able to minimize.

Objective: This study aimed to show and analyze the flow, content, and meaning of (prospective) early childhood educators reflective thoughts entailed in the process of planning, implementing and evaluating storybook reading by analyzing reflective journals written by technical college students enrolled in an advanced major curriculum after they completed a storybook reading assignment. Methods: The subjects of this study were 39 technical college students enrolled in an advanced major curriculum that participated in a 15-week-long 'storybook seminar' course. This study analyzed journals on storybook reading written by the students as an assignment for the storybook seminar course. Results: As a result, four categories of selecting a storybook, planning the reading of the selected storybook, actual reading of the storybook and subsequent activities were extracted according to the implementation process of storybook reading. Through this series of experiences, (prospective) early childhood educators had a childt-centered view of reading picture books, changed the method of reading picture books, re-recognized the importance of early childhood literature education, and developed a will to develop professionalism through reflective thinking. Conclusion/Implications: This study finds its meaning in showing the reflective thinking that occur within early childhood educators that plan, implement and evaluate storybook reading.

The Government of Mongolia approved establishment of the Mongolian LTER network in December 1997. In June 1998, a seminar was organized by the Mongolian Academy of Sciences to initiate the program. Dr. James Gosz of the US LTER program keynoted the seminar. A Mongolian LTER Steering Committee was established to organize the network and to develop guidelines for its management. This Committee designated Hovsgol National Park in northern Mongolia as the first Mongolian LTER network site. Other potential sites are presently being considered. including study sites in steppe grassland and desert locations. The primary goals of the Mongolian LTER Network are to study human impacts on Mongolia's environment; with a focus on short-term impacts of nomadic grazing on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems and long-term climate change impacts on more pristine environments in the protected areas. There are at least two additional goals: to provide information and advice on how best to protect Mongolia's pristine environments, and to train Mongolian students to work on environmental problems to encourage the growth of expertise for making sound environmental decisions.
