토목섬유를 이용한 확대기초의 설계법 연구 (Design Method of Spread Footing Reinforced by Geosynthetics)

  • New design method about the spread footing was developed using only soil and geosynthetics. This footing will be able to replace the concrete footing at constructing the foundation of small structures. As shown in Fig-3(b), after excavating the ground in semicircular shape, geosynthetics is layed on the semicircular shape of ground and let the soil filled. Geosynthetics of upper side are fixed tightly each other It can be thought to be a kind of great bag with semicircular shape. We performed two kinds of experiments to investigate the deformation and the failure shape of spread footing reinforced by geosynthetics. First, after making model ground with aluminium rods, the lattice point of 1cm ${\times}$ 1cm size of the side of aluminium rods have been painted with various kinds of colors. We have observed the movement of painted rods during loading. Second, we have taken pictures about failure process using B-shutter method. Analysing the behavior of model ground reinforced in a semicircular shape, we could know the reinforced one has much greater and wider plastic area than unreinforced one at failure. Based on the experimental results, new design method was proposed, which has a possibility to apply at the field works.

터빈 기익 내부관 열전달 증대를 위해 설치된 요철의 형상 효과 (Effects of Rib Cross Section Shapes on Heat Transfer of a Rib-Roughened Duct)

  • Heat transfer in a duct is augmented remarkably by rib turbulators. However, increasing friction loss is accompanied due to ribs disturbing flows. Hence, pressure drops and heat transfer are considered simultaneously to decide heat/mass transfer performance in a rib-roughened duct. In the present study, the effects of rib cross section shape on pressure drop through a duct are investigated as well as those on heat transfer characteristics. The results show that the characteristics of heat/mass transfer and friction loss in the duct roughened with triangular ribs are similar to those with square ribs, while significantly different from those with semicircular ribs. The best performance in the duct is obtained by using semicircular shaped ribs among three types of ribs for the large rib angles of ${\alpha}{\geq}63^{\circ}$.

방어구조물 형상에 따른 토석류의 유입특성과 위험도 평가 (Inflow Characteristics of Debris Flow and Risk Assessment for Different Shapes of Defensive Structure)

  • This study analyzed the inflow characteristics of debris flow according to shape of defensive structure and computed risk index. In order to simulate debris flow, two shapes of defensive structure were considered. Initial mass distribution was set with a rectangular shape and defensive structures were set semi-circular shape and rectangular shape, respectively. It was found that a defensive structure with semicircular shape was more vulnerable to debris impact compared with rectangular shape because the flow mass became concentrated in quadrant part of the inner circle. If the velocity of the debris flow was less than 1 m/s, the risk assessment by FII (Flood Intensity Index) was much appropriate. However, when the movement of debris runout was faster than 1 m/s, the risk index of FHR (Flood Hazard Rating) provided improved classification due to its subdivided hazardous range.

금동당초문과대의 제작기법 연구 (The Production Techniques of a Gilt-Bronze Buckle with Arabesque Design)

  • 고려시대에 제작된 것으로 추정되는 금동과대의 제작기법을 규명하였다. 도금층은 형광X선 분석기를 이용한 mapping 결과, 아말감 기법에 의해 만들어지고, EDS 성분분석 결과 도금층은 금 뿐만 아니라 구리를 포함하고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 과대 뒷면에 고착된 섬유는 미세구조 관찰 결과 대마로 판별되었으며 그 직조방식은 나직이었다. 시문에 사용된 정은 삼각형 정과 반원형 정이고, 삼각형 정으로 문양의 테두리를 두른 후, 반원형 정으로 마무리를 지었다. 정의 시문철차를 조사하고 그 형상에 대해서 추정을 하였다.

반원형 단면을 갖는 광도파로의 고유모우드의 벡터해 (Vectorial Solutions of the Eigenmodes of the Waveguide with Semicircular Cross-Section)

  • 도파로의 전자기장을 Bessel함수와 삼각함수로 급수전개하고 코어와 클래드간의 경계면에서 유한한 갯수의 점들을 선택하여 각 점에 전자기장의 경계조건을 적용함으로서 반원형 단면을 갖는 광도파로의 벡터해를 구하였다. 그리고 각 고유모우드들의 전파상수와 에너지 분포를 구하여 그 특성을 토의하였다. -H가 E로 바꾸어지는 것을 제외하고는 odd인 모우드와 거의 같았으며, 코어와 클래드의 굴절률 비가 1로 접근함에 따라서 even과 odd 모우드는 서로 축최됨을 볼 수 있었다.

피로하중을 받는 표면균열재의 관통거동 및 지연거동 (Retardation Behavior and Crack-Through-Thickness of a Surface-cracked Specimen under Cyclic Load)

  • Fatigue life and retardtion behavior after through-thickness were examined experimentally by using a CT specimen and surface-cracked specimen. The material used was 3% Ni-Cr-Mo steel. The fatigue crack shape before through-thickness is almost semicircular, and the measured aspect ratio is larger than the value obtained by calculation using the K value proposed by Newman-Raju. It is found that the crack growth behavior on the back side after through-ghickness is unique and can be divided into three stages a, b and c. A retardation parameter has been used successfully to predict the growth of cracks in specimen, and in this time, retardation factor is 4.3. By using the crack propagation rule considering on retardation state and the K value proposed by the authors, the remarkable crack growth behavior and the change in crack shape can be evaluated quantitatively.

  • The production technologies of free-form concrete panels are emerging to satisfy the need of modern complex shaped in architectural design. This study aims for introducing and improvising the innovative technique called Rod type mold that overcomes the difficulties in some extent by enabling the mold to be used many times, making the shape of the mold adjustable in a flexible way and describing its production process to provide the alternative solution for the construction of free-form mold with considering the features including reusability and optimization cost across its production process. In this study, the freeform concrete panel shape was designed and experiment was done using computerized numeric control machine and rod type mold. The problems appeared on achieving desired shape while operating on rod type mold. The process of identifying all the root causes and contributing causes that may have generated an undesirable condition were done. Consequently, the conical or semicircular shaped was proposed for the end of Numerical control rod and replaced it with the existing flat shaped end to avoid the detachable problem and to improve rod type mold performance.

접착 보강된 노치 균열판의 응력확대계수 산정을 위한 비등매개변수 모델 기반의 3차원 가상균열닫힘법 (Three-Dimensional Virtual Crack Closure Technique Based on Anisoparametric Model for Stress Intensity Factors of Patch Repaired Plates with Cracks at Notches)

  • 본 논문에서는 V형 노치 및 반원형 노치 균열을 갖는 패치보강 적층판의 응력확대계수 산정을 위하여 수치해석적 방법을 사용한다. p-수렴 비등매개변수 모델이 고려되고, 이와 같은 비등매개변수 모델의 결과를 활용한 3차원 가상균열닫힘법에 대한 식이 표현된다. 1차원 로바토 함수로부터 확장된 3차원 계층적 형상함수를 가지고서, 임의의 요소에서의 변위장의 변위-변형률 관계와 3차원 구성방정식이 표현된다. 원형경계의 기하형상을 나태내기 위해 초유한사상기법을 사용한다. 응력집중계수, 응력분포, 자유도, 그리고 무차원 응력확대계수 등의 항목에 대해서, 제안된 모델의 정확도와 단순성이 기존의 결과들과의 비교를 통해 설명된다. 균열 적층판의 폭, 높이, 노치근입부의 반경, V형 노치의 경사각, 균열길이 등의 변화에 따른 응력확대계수가 산정된다.

긴 균열을 갖는 알루미늄판재의 관통전후 피로거동 (Fatigue Behavior of Before-and-After Penetration of Aluminium Plate with Long Surface Crack)

  • 알루미늄합금(5083-0)의 표면균열시험편의 관통전후의 피로거동을 조사하였다. 관통전의 피로균열형상은 거의 반타원형이며, 측정된 형상비는 Newman-Raju식의 K를 이용하여 계산한 값보다 더 크다. 관통후의 뒷면에서의 피로균열성장거동은 거의 유사하였으며 3영역으로 나누어졌다. 표면균열길이가 긴 경우, 피로균열전파법칙을 사용함으로서 표면균열재의 판두께 관통후의 피로균열 전파특성을 정량적으로 평가될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.
