  • 소형인공위성의 우주추진체로 사용될 홀방식 전기추력기의 서브시스템으로 제논연료공급장치가 개발되었다. 제논연료공급장치는 연료저장탱크에서 추력기의 양극과 음극에 낮은 압력으로 연료를 공급하게 된다. 추력기는 양극과 음극에서 독립적으로 정밀한 연료의 유량제어를 요구하고 있다. 연료의 유량은 양극과 음극에 각각 위치한 오리피스와 차단밸브를 통해 축압탱크의 압력을 변경함으로서 조절된다. 본 논문은 제논연료공급장치의 부품선정을 포함한 설계와 성능검증 및 기능시험에 대한 내용을 다루고 있다.

  • Follicular atresia is a universal and characteristic phenomenon of both non-mammalian and mammalian vertebrates. Generally it is estimated that greater than 99% of follicles become atretic in higher domestic animals and human. The number of selected follicles developing to the preovulatory stage are thus fewer. Follicles can become atretic at any stage of development. The previous studies emphasized on descriptive and retrospect aspects of a limited population of the fully grown preovulatory follicle. The main efforts in ovarian physilogical researches are focused on follicular development culminating in ovulation but recent advances have resulted in a better understanding of atresia. Nowadays, recent studies are concentrated on the induction of atresia in a selected population of follicles and of the associated cellular, endocrine, biochemical and molecular changes. The factors initiating atresia and follicle selections are worthy of investigations. Another intriguing question is whether one can predict when a follicle will become atretic, i.e., what biochemical markers indicate that a follicle is destined for atresia. It is generally agreed that atretic process may vary even in antral follicles at different stages of their differentiations and among species. The dicisive factors are follicular responsiveness and the hormonal milieu. Some generalizations can be made on the basis of experimental induction of atresia. Alteration of the pattern of follicular steroid production is associated with the initiation stage of atretic process. Atresia appears to be a process unfolding gradually and affecting progressively in increasing number of functions and components of the follicle. The oocyte may be the latest to be afflicted in the atretic process. The high steroidogenic activity of atretic follicles lends support to the notion that atresia is not necessarily a degenerative process and that atretic follicles may play an essential role in ovarian physiology. The simultaneous occurence of growth and atretic processes may render the search for regulatory mechanisms involved in atresia difficult extremely. The questions such as how follicles are selected to undergo ovulation rather than atresia or what the mechanism of atresia is remain unanswered. However, the factors regulating or modifying ovarian hormonal milieu for the initiation of follicular growth and maturation or of atresia are being elucidated.

양송이(洋松茸)의 단일담포자(單一擔胞子) 분리(分離)에 의(依)한 신계통(新系統) 선발(選拔)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Improvement of Cultivated Mushroom Agaricus bisporus by Means of Single Basidiospore Selections)

  • 앙송이 단일담포자(單一擔胞予)의 발아(發芽)에 가장 알맞은 배지(培地)는 water agar였고 이때 발아율(發芽率)은 26%였다. 단일담포자(單一擔鐵子) 6,372개(個)를 분리(分離)하여 1,622개(個)를 발아(發芽)시켰으며 이들은 균총형태(菌叢形態)에 따라 strandy type과 fluffy type으로 구분(區分) 할 수 있었으며 이중 전자(前者)는 균사생장(菌絲生長) 속도(速度)가 빨랐고 수량(收量)도 높았다. 발아(發芽)된 단일담포자중(單一擔胞子中) 퇴비추출배지상(堆肥抽出培地上)에서 strandy type 778개(個)를 선발(選拔)하여 생산력(生産力)을 검정(檢定)한 결과(結果) 1차(次)에서 공시(供試) 균주(菌株)의 89개(個), 2차(次)에서 19개(個), 3차(次)에서 9개(個) 균주(菌株)를 우수(優秀) 계통(系統)으로 선아(選芽)할 수 있었다. 이들중 No. 645 외(外) 8균주(菌株)는 수량(收量)이 5%이상(以上) 증수(增收)되었으며 그중 No. 1567, 1708 두 균주(菌株)는 수량(收量)이 10% 이상(以上) 증수(增收)되었고 품질(品質)도 양호(良好)하여 우량계통(優良系統)으로 선발(選拔)할 수 있었다. 따라서 단일담포자(單一擔胞子)의 계통분리(純系分離)에 의(依)해 양송이 신계통(新系統) 육성(育成)이 가능(可能)할 것으로 보인다.

2-Stage Optimal Design and Analysis for Disassembly System with Environmental and Economic Parts Selection Using the Recyclability Evaluation Method

  • Promotion of a closed-loop supply chain requires disassembly systems that recycle end-of-life (EOL) assembled products. To operate the recycling disassembly system, parts selection is environmentally and economically carried out with non-destructive or destructive disassembly, and the recycling rate of the whole EOL product is determined. As the number of disassembled parts increases, the recycling rate basically increases. However, the labor cost also increases and brings lower profit, which is the difference between the recovered material prices and the disassembly costs. On the other hand, since the precedence relationships among disassembly tasks of the product also change with the parts selections, it is also required to optimize allocation of the tasks in designing a disassembly line. In addition, because information is required for such a design, the recycling rate, profit of each part and disassembly task times take precedence among the disassembly tasks. However, it is difficult to obtain that information in advance before collecting the actual EOL product. This study proposes and analyzes an optimal disassembly system design using integer programming with the environmental and economic parts selection (Igarashi et al., 2013), which harmonizes the recycling rate and profit using recyclability evaluation method (REM) developed by Hitachi, Ltd. The first stage involves optimization of environmental and economic parts selection with integer programming with ${\varepsilon}$ constraint, and the second stage involves optimization of the line balancing with integer programming in terms of minimizing the number of stations. The first and second stages are generally and mathematically formulized, and the relationships between them are analyzed in the cases of cell phones, computers and cleaners.

걷고 싶은 거리조성을 위한 도심녹지 확보 방안 (Development of Urban Green Infrastructure by promoting Walkability)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose the methodology for introducing green infrastructure that can improve the health of citizens by promoting walkability. The methodology is composed of the following three phases: classification of the types of green spaces, selection of core green spaces with two separate analyses, and introduction of the framework of green infrastructure to promote walkability. In the first phase, the classification of the types of green spaces was carried out in order to understand existing distribution pattern of green spaces in study site. In the second phase, walkable blocks were selected by such methods as walkability value. Through these two analyses, all the blocks were divided into three groups according to the ranking figured up the second analyses' results. The blocks in the first group, the group involved in the top 30% and having the greatest ranking, were defined as walkable blocks. In the last phase, a basic frame of the green infrastructure in study site was introduced by connecting the walkable blocks with using other blocks and the green spaces over 1ha. In case study, 28 important green spaces and 35 walkable blocks were selected through the two analysis process. Then, the basic framework of green infrastructure based on the selected 28 important green spaces and 35 walkable blocks was introduced. The methodology applied to this study can be used to get the best selections of the proper green infrastructure in accordance with the purpose of the ecological and recreational local development. In particular, this study will suggest a specific analysis model to use for the ecological and walkable urban planning with green spaces existing in the city.

주단계(朱丹溪)의 사상(四傷)(기혈담울(氣血痰鬱))학설(學說)에 관한 연구(硏究) - 『격치여론(格致餘論)』과 『금궤구현(金匱鉤玄)』을 중심으로 - (A Study on Judangye's Theory of Sasang(four harms) -with a Focus on Gyeokchiyeoron and Geumgweguhyeon -)

  • Objectives : As there was no sufficient research done on Sasang (four harms: 氣[qi], 血[blood], 痰[phlegm], and 鬱[congestion]), which serves as a precept in treatment of miscellaneous diseases, in contrast with 'Yang is always teeming whereas Yin is always scarce' and 'Sanghwa-ron', which are Judangye's major theories, I have come to work on it. I expect that with this, we can understand Judangye's medical theory and therapy for a variety of diseases. Methods : To begin with, I take a look at the definition of Sasang. And then, I make selections of theories and therapy related to Sasang from Gyeokchiyeoron(格致餘論) and Geumgweguhyeon(金匱鉤玄), which are Judangye's writings. My study follows the order of energy, blood, phlegm, and congestion. Results : Through Gyeokchiyeoron, I have learned more about Judangye's theory on how energy, blood, phlegm, and congestion cause diseases. And as for therapy, I have tapped into Geumgweguhyeon to use sagunja-tang(四君子湯) for drained energy, samul-tang(四物湯) for drained blood, ijin-tang(二陳湯) for phlegm, and wolguk-hwan(越鞠丸) for congestion, thus verifying the originality of Judangye's theory. Conclusions : "Judangye for miscellaneous diseases" was confirmed through his treatments for energy, blood, phlegm, and congestion. And his idea of Yang-eum(養陰 'nurturing yin') is now reflected in therapy for miscellaneous diseases, now serving as a study that provides a comprehensive understanding of Judangye's medical theories.

음식물찌꺼기 소멸효율 재고를 위한 발효균 및 발효 공정 최적화 연구 (Studies on the Selection of Microorganism for Food Wastes and Optimization of Fermentation Process)

  • 186종의 후보미생물을 대상으로 우수발효(소멸)균 선발시험을 실시한 결과, Rhizopus sp., Galactomyecs sp., Pichia sp., Hyphopichia sp.로 구성되는 4종의 발효균을 선발하였다. 이들 발효균을 이용한 발효(소멸)공정 시험결과, 내용적 50L의 발효조에 대해서, BIO-CHIP Volume 25-30L, BIO CHIP입도 2.0-6.0mm, 송풍량 200-280L/min, 교반강도 24 rpm, 온도 $30-45^{\circ}C$가 최저 발효조건인 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 조건에서 1일 1kg의 음식물을 30일간 투입하면서 소멸기를 가동한 결과, 93%의 소멸율을 나타내었다. 소멸기 배출물의 재활용 가치를 평가하기 위하여, 발아율 시험을 실시한 결과, 배출물을 적절하게 희석하여 사용하면, 퇴비로서의 가치가 매우 양호한 것으로 나타났다.

적색 반겹꽃 절화용 거베라 '레드옥션' 육성 (A New Gerbera Cultivar, 'Red Auction' with Red Color and Semi-double for Cut Flower)

  • 경남농업기술원 화훼연구소에서 적색 대륜계 '01-120-195'를 모본, 적색 대륜계 '미스티레드'를 부본으로 인공교배를 실시하여 적색 대륜계 거베라 'Red Auction'을 육성 하였다. 특성검정 포장에 정식하여 2006년부터 2008년까지 3회에 걸쳐 생육 및 수량특성 검정을 실시하였다. 'Red Auction'은 선명한 적색(RHS 45-A)품종으로 화경이 강건하고 안정된 화형을 가진 반겹꽃 대륜화이다. 년간 주당평균수량은 약 49본 정도이며, 평균 절화수명은 약 12일 정도이다. 'Red Auction' 품종은 2010년 신품종으로 품종보호등록 되었다.

Selection of the optimal herbal composition of pomegranate concentrated powder from aqueous extracts of Eucommiae Cortex and Achyranthis Radix to treat osteoarthritis in rats

  • Objectives: We investigated whether a mixture of the main component of pomegranate concentrated powder (PCP) with appropriate proportions of Eucommiae Cortex (EC) and Achyranthis Radix (AR) could act synergistically as an effective treatment for osteoarthritis (OA). Methods: In order to evaluate the effects of PCP, EC, and AR against OA, knee thicknesses, maximum extension angle of each knee, anti - inflammation effects, the transcript levels of chondrogenic genes mRNA expressions in femur and tibia articular cartilage (AC) with synovial membrane (SM) were analyzed. In addition, the histopathology and immunohistochemistry of the femur and tibia AC or SM were performed. Results: The surgically-induced OA signs in rats were significantly inhibited by 28 days of continuous treatment of PCP, EC and AR single formulas, and PCP with EC:AR mixed formulas. Especially, PCP with EC:AR 4:1, 2:1 and 1:1 mixed formula treatment constantly showed significantly more favorable inhibitory activities, as compared with those of single formula of PCP, EC and AR treated rats. Conclusion: PCP and EC:AR 4:1 mixed formula showed similar OA refinement effects through potent anti-inflammatory pathways as compared with those of diclofenac treatment, and showed additional chondrocyte proliferating effects on the both femur and tibia AC.

Bioremediation of Diesel-Contaminated Soil by Bacterial Cells Transported by Electrokinetics

  • The electrokinetic technology was applied in bioremediation for the purpose of supplying a Pseudomonas strain capable of degrading diesel to contaminated soil bed, and their biodegradation of diesel was carried out after a desired cell distribution was obtained. Electrokinetic injection of the strain was made possible because the cells acted as negatively charged particles at neutral pH, and thus the cells were transported with a precise directionality through the soil mostly by the mechanism of electrophoresis and in part by electroosmosis. A severe pH change in the soil bed was formed due to the penetration of electrolysis products, which was harmful to the cell viability and cell transport. To achieve a desirable cell transport and distribution, the control of pH in soil bed by a recirculating buffer solution in electrode chambers was essential during the appliation of an electric field. The judicious selections of electrolyte concentration and conductivity were also important for achieving an efficient electrokinetic cell transport since a higher electrolyte concentration favored the maintenance of pH stability in soil bed, but lowered electrophoretic mobility on the other hand. With electrolyte solution of pH 7 phosphate buffer, a 0.05 M concentration showed a better cell transport buffer, a 0.05 M concentration showed a better cell transport than 0.02 M and 0.08 M. The cell under pH 8 were obtained, compared to the cells under pH 7 or pH 9 in a given time period Up to $60\%$ of diesel was degraded in 8 days by the Pseudomonas cell, which were distributed electrokinetically under the conditions of pH 8 ($1,800{\mu}S/cm$, a mixture of phosphate and ammonia buffers) and 40 mA in a soil bed of 15 cm length.
