미분변환법과 일반화 미분구적법을 이용한 가변단면 원호 아치의 진동 해석 (Vibration Analysis for Circular Arches with Variable Cross-section by using Differential Transformation and Generalized Differential Quadrature)

  • 구조물과 같은 아치의 진동해석은 많은 산업분야에서 다양하게 적용되기 때문에 공학적 문제에 중요한 주제이다. 특히 변화하는 단면형상을 가지는 아치는 질량이나 강도를 최적화 하거나 특별한 구조물이나 요구조건들을 만족하기 위해서 폭넓게 사용되어 진다. 최근에는 일반화 미분구적법(GDQM)이나 미분변환법(DTM)은 각각 Shu와 Zou에 의해서 제안이 되었다. 연구에서는 변화하는 단면형상을 가지는 아치의 진동해석이 일반화 미분구적법과 미분변환법을 적용하였다. 변화하는 단면형상을 가지는 아치에 대하여 지배방정식이 유도되어졌으며, 미분변환과 일반화 미분구적법의 개념이 간단히 소개되었다. 변화하는 단면형상을 가지는 아치의 무차원화된 고유진동수가 다양한 경계조건에 대해서 구해졌으며, 이러한 방법들에 의해서 얻어지는 결과들은 선행연구와 비교 되어졌다. 일반화 미분구적법과 미분변환법은 변화하는 단면형상을 가지는 아치의 진동문제를 해석함에 있어서 빠른 수렴, 정확도, 효율성, 유효성을 보인다.

고속도로 터널부 도로 용량 감소율에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Road Capacity Reduction Rate of Freeway Tunnel Section)

  • 본 연구에서는 고속도로 VDS 검지기 데이터를 활용하여 터널 구간과 일반 구간의 도로용량을 산정하여 비교하였으며, 터널 특성 요인에 따라 분류된 터널유형별 터널 진입 전 대비 터널 내부 도로용량 감소율을 분석하였다. 터널 구간과 일반 구간의 도로 용량을 비교하기 위해 5분 단위 VDS 검지기 데이터에 Product Limit Method(PLM)을 적용하였다. PLM으로 도출된 터널 구간 및 일반 구간의 도로 용량을 비교한 결과, 터널 구간은 일반 구간 대비 도로 용량이 약 6.5% 감소하였다. 터널 유형 분류를 위해 터널 연장과 터널 내 차로수를 변수로 활용하였으며, 각 기준에 의해 분류된 터널 집단별 도로 용량 감소율에는 차이가 있었다.

광혈류량 신호의 움직임 훼손 보상 기법 (A Method for Motion Artifact Compensation of PPG Signal)

  • 자율신경계 및 중추신경계 반응 신호는 취득 시 피험자의 움직임이 있는 경우 노이즈가 첨가되어 의도한 분석이 불가능하게 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 생리신호 취득시 피험자의 영상을 동시에 촬영 및 분석하고 움직임을 감지하여, 생리신호의 노이즈 구간을 정의하는 방법을 제안한다. 움직임 감지를 위해 시계열에서 영상 프레임간 1차 미분하고 임계치 이상 움직임이 발생했을 때를 해당 신호의 노이즈 발생 구간으로 정의하였다. 또한, 영상을 사용하지 않는 방법으로써, 수집된 신호를 주기 단위로 분석하여 길이와 높이를 특징으로 한 정상 신호를 2차원 가우시안 확률밀도함수로 모델화하여, 신호의 훼손 구간을 정의하는 방법을 제안한다. 두 방법으로 정의된 훼손 구간은 가우시안 함수를 기반으로 보간하였다. 광혈류량 신호에 적용한 결과, 심전도 신호에서 추출된 평균 심박간격에 가까운 수치로 복원됨을 확인하였다. 또한, 영상기반 방법은 정상구간을 훼손구간으로, 신호기반 방법은 훼손구간을 정상구간으로 잘못 인식하는 경우가 나타남을 확인하였다.

대단면 터널의 선지보네일 보강에 따른 아칭특성 연구 (Study on Arching Characteristics of a Grand-Section Tunnel with Pre-Steel-Rib Nail Reinforcement)

  • 본 연구에서는 상부 토피고가 낮거나 지반조건이 불량한 터널의 경우 기존 터널의 보강공법과 다른 선지보네일 보강공법을 적용한 터널의 설계 및 시공사례를 조사하였다. 신기술 신공법인 선지보네일 보강공법을 대단면 터널 상부지반에 보강하여 기존 터널 보강공법들에 비하여 보강효과 및 안정성 측면의 실효성을 확인하였다. 선지보네일 공법에 대한 설계, 현장시공 사례 및 계측 데이타를 조사하여 그 보강 결과를 확인하였으며, 터널 상부지반 선지보네일 보강에 따른 대단면 터널의 아칭 특성에 대하여 유한요소 수치해석 프로그램인 MIDAS/GTS를 이용하여 연구하였다. 이와 더불어 터널 상부지반에 선지보네일 공법을 적용함에 있어서 적절한 설치간격과, 적용시 공법의 보강효과를 극대화하기 위한 방법을 제시하였다.

중년기 여성을 위한 슬랙스원형 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Basic Slacks Pattern for Middle-Aged Women)

  • This study was performed to develop a basic stacks pattern for middle-aged women reflecting the characteristics of their lower body types. Anthropometric measurements using sliding guage method were carried out for 4 women 40's For the analysis of the lower body types horizontal and vertical section maps obtained by sliding gauge method and 2 indices were produced. Based on the slacks construction components produced by the drafts of their lower body surface experimental slacks pattern was designed. Multiple comparison test was used to compare 3 existing slacks patterns with the experimental pattern. 1. The results of the body section map analysis were as follows: 1) In the frontal view silhouette of vertical section maps there were less individual differences in items with skeleton landmarks than those without them. 2) In the shape of horizontal section maps waist section represented more round shape than the others and thigh maximum width section had the flattest shape. Flat ratios(depth/width) of subjects were much higer than those of young women which clarified the change of depth was bigger than that of width with aging process. 2. The slacks construction components for pattern drafting were as follows: 1)Ease amount of waist was 0.5cm and front and back waist girth difference was 1.2cm Ease amount of hip was 1,8cm and front and back hip girth difference was 0.7 cm 2) The amount of dart intake incresed in the order of side(4cm) back(3,6cm) from (2.8cm) The length of dart leg incresed in the order of front side back.

환경규제가 지역경제에 미치는 파급효과 분석 (Impact Analysis on the Regional Economy Affected by Environmental Regulations)

  • Since the 1990's, the most important environmental issue on the earth is characterized by "global worming problem". The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) plays an significant role to solve this problem on a worldwide scale. The main purpose of this paper is to analyse the impact of $CO_2$ reduction on the Daegu regional economy through 1995 regional input-output coefficients derived from the 1995 national input coefficients table by using non-survey method. The sectoral impacts on output, income, and employment were computed under the decline-unequalized assumption in final demand influenced by $CO_2$ reduction. This article has six main sections. Section 1 is an introduction to this paper. Section 2 explains briefly the derivation method of the regional technical coefficients. Section 3 describes the model building through input-output multipliers. In section 4 regional data on output, income, employment and final demand are computed to estimate the regional impacts. Section 5 deals with impact analysis on the Daegu economy. Section 6 contains a brief summary and concludintg remarks. The research findings of this study can be summarized as follows. In 1995, under the assumption of 10% decrease on an average in final demand sectors, the economy of the region studied decreased \3600 billion of output, ₩1114 billion of income, and 49919 man-years of employment. The percent ratios of each value to the total showed 9.4%, 9.7%, and 9.2%, respectively. The dominant sectors associated with impact analysis within the region are chemicals and chemical products, paper, printing and publishing, and textiles and leather, etc; nevertheless, the least dominant sector is non-metallic mineral products. products.

General Purpose Cross-section Analysis Program for Composite Rotor Blades

  • A two-dimensional cross-section analysis program based on the finite element method has been developed for composite blades with arbitrary cross-section profiles and material distributions. The modulus weighted approach is used to take into account the non-homogeneous material characteristics of advanced blades. The CLPT (Classical Lamination Plate Theory) is applied to obtain the effective moduli of the composite laminate. The location of shear center for any given cross-sections are determined according to the Trefftz' definition while the torsion constants are obtained using the St. Venant torsion theory. A series of benchmark examples for beams with various cross-sections are illustrated to show the accuracy of the developed cross-section analysis program. The cross section cases include thin-walled C-channel, I-beam, single-cell box, NACA0012 airfoil, and KARI small-scale blades. Overall, a reasonable correlation is obtained in comparison with experiments or finite element analysis results.

Alternative Sample Preparation Method for Large-Area Cross-Section View Observation of Lithium Ion Battery

  • Drastic development of ubiquitous devices requires more advanced batteries with high specific capacitance and high rate capability. Large-area microstructure characterization across the stacks of cathode, electrolyte and anode might reveal the origin of the instability or degradation of batteries upon cycling charge. In this study, sample preparation methods to observe the cross-section view of the electrodes for battery in SEM and several imaging tips are reviewed. For an accurate evaluation of the microstructure, ion milling which flats the surface uniformly is recommended. Pros and cons of cross-section polishing (CP) with Ar ion and focused ion beam (FIB) with Ga ion were compared. Additionally, a modified but new cross-section milling technique utilizing precision ion polishing system (PIPS) which can be an alternative method of CP is developed. This simple approach will make the researchers have more chances to prepare decent large-area cross-section electrode for batteries.

영역분할에 의한 격자세분화기법을 사용한 철도차량 마루부재 압출공정의 3차원 유한요소해석 (Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis for Hollow Section Extrusion of the Underframe of a Railroad Vehicle Using Mismatching Refinement with Domain Decomposition)

  • In order to reduce weight of a high-speed railroad vehicle, the main body has been manufactured by hollow section extrusion using aluminum alloys. A porthole die has utilized for the hollow section extrusion process, which causes complicated die geometry and flow characteristics. Design of porthole die is very difficult due to such a complexity. The three-dimensional finite element analysis for hollow section is also an arduous job from the viewpoint of appropriate mesh construction and tremendous computation time. In the present work, mismatching refinement, an efficient domain decomposition method with different mesh density for each subdomain, is implemented for the analysis of the hollow section extrusion process. In addition, a modified grid-based approach with the surface element layer is utilized lot three-dimensional mesh generation of a complicated shape with hexahedral elements. The effects of porthole design are discussed through the simulation for extrusion of an underframe part of a railroad vehicle. An experiment has also been carried out for the comparison. Comparing the velocity distribution at the outlet with the thickness variation of the extruded part, it is concluded that the analysis results can provide reliable measures whether the die design is acceptable to obtain uniform part thickness. The analysis results are then successfully reflected on the industrial porthole die design.

Image Analysis of the Luster of Fabrics with Modified Cross-section Fibers

  • We have investigated the luster of modified cross-sectional fiber fabrics as one of the essential quality estimates for clothing development. We have confirmed an objective evaluation method, and have determined the experimental luster char­acteristics of modified cross-section fibers. The cross-section of the fibers in a fabric affects the appearance of a textile. We used the image analysis method to investigate the luster to determine the critical factors influencing the appearance of modi­fied cross-section fiber fabrics. For similarly structured textiles in a component fabric, clear differences were observed in the fabric weave, density, percentage, and total area of blobs, which is image region. Color played a decisive role in the luster of the textiles, and luster was not significantly influenced by the modified cross-section fabric weave. In addition, the degree of luster did not increase in the order plain to twill to satin for modified cross-sectional fiber fabrics. All the split-type microfi­bers exhibited higher numerical luster values (percentage of pixels, and number and total area of blobs) than sea-island microfibers did. The degree of luster of the modified cross-sectional fiber fabrics was not high at specular reflection angles.
