차량용 에어필터 Sealing 및 상.하 Cap의 신기술 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on New Technology Development of Air Filter Sealing for Vehicles and Upper-under Cap)

  • An air filter is a device to remove dust from the air supplied to the automotive engine. A requirement for the optimum air filter is to improve the capability to remove particles from the air it takes in, that is the efficiency and amount of dust collection. By removing dust from the air, the air filter prevents the engine cylinder from wear, reduces ventilation resistance, and thus improves engine output and guarantees intake performance. In order to guarantee such air filter performance, it is very important to properly seal the air filter. For passenger cars made in Korea, the air filters are fabricated with steel caps as their frames are large and their engine capacity is big. Recently however, European countries and Japan started using urethane for manufacturing the air filter, so that all foreign-made cars now have urethane filters. The urethanes used for air filters are applied in two ways: One is to use soft urethane for both top and bottom of the air filter and the other is to use soft urethane for the top and hard urethane for the bottom. Each of these method has unique problems. In this study, hard urethane is used for both top and bottom of the filter in order to improve those problems and increase the sealing efficiency. Especially for the top, NBR (rubber mold) is pre-settled in tough urethane and then the urethane is solidified through foaming, which makes it possible to develop a solid and double-sealed filter.

  • Pump cap is a product that is widely used due to its ease of use and simple operation. These pump caps are applied to heterogeneous functional cosmetics and are being developed as dual pump caps. However, the conventional dual pump cap has a problem in that it is inconvenient to use and leakage occurs. In addition, it is formed of a plurality of materials, and there is a problem that is difficult to recycle. Lately, since the problem of environmental pollution is getting serious, the dual pump cap, which is difficult to recycle, cannot be used. Currently, eco-friendliness has been considered in Korea, and there are no dual pump cap containers with excellent sealing performance. Therefore, in this study, a dual pump cap container made of eco-friendly material was designed. In addition, finite element analysis was performed to verify the design feasibility of the product.

  • 본 연구에서는 RF-MEMS소자의 웨이퍼레벨 패키징에 적용하기 위한 밀봉 실장 방법에 대하여 연구를 하였다. 비전도성 B-stage에폭시를 사용하여 밀봉 실장하는 방법은 플립칩 접합 방법과 함께 MEMS 소자 패키징에 많은 장점을 줄 것이다. 특히 소자의 동작뿐만 아니라 기생성분의 양을 줄여야 하는 RF-MEMS 소자에는 더욱더 많은 장전을 보여준다. 비전도성 B-stage 에폭시는 2차 경화가 가능한 것으로 우수한 밀봉 실장 특성을 보였다. 패키징시 상부기관으로 사용되는 유리기판 위에 500 $\mu\textrm{m}$의 밀봉선을 스크린 프린팅 방식으로 패턴닝을 한 후에 $90^{\circ}C$$170^{\circ}C$에서 열처리를 하였다. 2차 경화 후 패턴닝된 모양이 패키징 공정이 끝날 때까지 계속 유지가 되었다. 패턴닝 후 에폭시 놀이가 4인치 웨이퍼에서 $\pm$0.6$\mu\textrm{m}$의 균일성을 얻었으며, 접합강토는 20 MPa을 얻었다. 또한 밀봉실장 특성을 나타내는 leak rate는 $10^{-7}$ cc/sec를 얻었다.

Time Serial Concentration of Phthalate Esters and Bisphenol-A Contaminated from Spring Water Container's Cap and Seal Film

  • Industrial plasticizers such as phthalates can induce peroxisome proliferation. A growing concern among environmental and health groups has arisen because phthalates such as di-2-ethy1hexy1 phthalate (DEHP) and DBP may cause hormonal disorders, reproductive toxicity, hepatocellular tumors, genital disorders owing to a capacity to bind estrogen receptors, and a low-dose toxic action during certain periods of fetal development. Phthalate esters are used extensively as a plasticizer for plastic manufacture such as PVC bags and medical devices. This study investigated the effects of leached components from spring water container's cap and seal film. Phthalates, e.g. dimethy1 phthalate (DMP), diethy1 phthalate (DEP), di-n-buty1 phthalate (DBP), benzy1buty1 phthalate (BBP), di-(2-ethy1hexy1) phthalate (DEHP), and bisphenol A (BPA) were measured in the spring water. The bisphenol A was not detected or below the detection limit on the leaching from cap, sealing or spring water. DEHP were detected 90-116 ppb on the leaching from seal after 2 weeks, and 0.48-0.51 ppb from the spring water after I week. BBP were measured from seal within 1 week 25.4-66 ppb and below 0.12 ppb from spring water within 2 days. DMP were detected from seal within 2 weeks 51-68.5 ppb and 0.12 ppb after 2 weeks. DEP were measured from seal within 2 weeks 48.1-141 ppb and the concentrations were increased by the time from 0.10 to 0.31 ppb at spring water. DBP were detected from the seal within 2 weeks 92.3-5100 ppb and the concentration were decreased by the time from 0.24 to 0.10 ppb at spring water. These results indicate that some phthalate esters contaminated with spring water using the intact cap and seal film. It is concluded that the measured levels of phthalates leaching from these materials might in vivo only be slightly less than 1/10 of the LOAEL.

  • The chief advantage of polymer arrester, from a handling viewpoint, design of pressure relief, anti-contamination, electrical failuer was reduced by polymer arrester. The life expectancy of polymer arrester depend on a number of design factor. This paper introduced and study : new material housing (silicone composite, EPDM, EPA...), cap type sealing structure, knuckle type electrode, stress relief housing, supporting insulator and sub parts, of polymer arrester.

  • Polyvinylchloride(PVC) is variously used to produce food packaging, wrap film, sealing compound of drinking bottle cap. Safety of these PVC food package is controlled by Food Code, PVC regulation. This study was carried out researches on manufacture process, physical, chemical properties and monomer(CAS No., common name, molecular structure) of PVC to help the understanding of PVC material. Also, this study helps us the understanding of regulation through researches on the foundation of PVC regulation, the purpose of test and the comment of test method. It is considered that these informations of material properties and explanations of test method are very useful to PVC producers, users and analyzers of them.

  • In this paper, polymer housing arrester has very good characteristics in design versatility as well as excellent resistance to moist ingress and pollution performance. For the presented of the characteristics evaluation and technology of disk spring and knuckle structure of FRP to filament winding seems to protect the arrester elements from moisture absorption. The achievement in the research and technology will contribute to the showed very good characteristic in adhesion of terminal cap and FRP cylinder for outdoor arresters and domestic products of high voltage power distribution arrester.

Au/Au-Sn 이종접합 적용 레이저 패키징을 통한 Vapor Cell 신뢰성 연구 (Study on Reliability of Vapor Cell by Laser Packaging with Au/Au-Sn Heterojunction)

  • As packaging processes for atomic gyroscope vapor cells, the glass tube tip-off process, anodic bonding, and paste sealing have been widely studied. However, there are stability issues in the alkali metal which are caused by impurity elements and leakage during high-temperature processes. In this study, we investigated the applicability of a vapor cell low-temperature packaging process by depositing Au on a Pyrex cell in addition to forming an Au-Sn thin film on a cap to cover the cell, followed by laser irradiation of the Au/Au-Sn interface. The mechanism of the thin film bonding was evaluated by XRD, while the packaging reliability of an Ne gas-filled vapor cell was characterized by variation of plasma discharge behavior with time. Furthermore, we confirmed that the Rb alkaline metal inside the vapor cell showed no color change, indicating no oxidation occurred during the process.

고로슬래그 미분말 다량치환 콘크리트의 탄산화 억제를 위한 기밀성 향상재 부착효과 (The Surface Sealing Performance of Film, Air cap and Polystyrene foam for Preventing Carbonation of High-Volume Slag Concrete)

  • 친환경 건설 재료의 일환으로 고로슬래그 미분말을 다량치환한 콘크리트에 대해 재생골재를 이용해 잠재수경성 반응을 활성화 시켜 콘크리트로서의 활용방안 모색과 탄산화를 저감시킬 목적으로 다양한 기밀성 향상재를 표면에 부착하여 탄산화 저감효과를 측정하였다. 재생골재의 사용은 표면의 모르타르 및 미수화 시멘트로 인해 고로슬래그 미분말을 다량 치환한 콘크리트에 양호한 영향을 미친 것으로 판단되었다. 콘크리트 표면의 기밀성 향상재에 따른 탄산화 저감 효과는 기밀성 향상재 종류와 상관없이 콘크리트 표면에 효과적으로 부착되어 있는 경우라면 모두 양호한 탄산화 저감 성능을 나타내었다. 그러므로 시공이 용이하고 취급이 간편하며 콘크리트 표면에서 장기간 양호한 내구성을 발휘하는 기밀성 향상재로 선시공 1중 에어캡이 가장 양호한 방법으로 판단되었으며, 추가적으로 단열성능을 고려하였을 때에는 선시공 2중 에어캡이 효율적인 방법으로 생각해 볼 수 있었다.
