This research explores the scientific reasoning of pre-service elementary teachers in experimental design. The article focuses on pre-service teachers' responses to the questions in the worksheets which involve making their knowledge claims on extinguishing of a burning candle in a closed container, evaluating anomalous data, and designing experiment to test their ideas. Their responses are interpreted in terms of categories developed by Tytler and Peterson(2003, 2004). The interrelationship between conceptual knowledge and scientific reasoning is explored using the data. It is argued that coordination of ideas and evidence must be emphasized in the scientific investigations rather than fair test.

Puzzles of various types were made of wood. Children aged 3 to 5 were play directly into a wooden puzzle, then, mainly in adults, the survey was conducted. Comparisons of affinity for the children, teachers, parents, survey were compared with the rating. As a result, the preferred material of the puzzle was in the timber. The type of puzzle children, teachers and parents preferred picture puzzle. For colors, teachers and parents of the puzzle as unpainted wood was preferred. In addition, the favorite play was the difference in difficulty and number puzzles. Therefore, the preference for children and adults aware of the puzzle with a big difference has been clearly identified.

Recognition of Korean pre-service elementary school teachers concerning the factor for the environmental class was investigated and analyzed by the factorial analysis. Korean pre-service elementary school teachers are aware of the factor of 'participation in environment' as well as the factor of 'environmental knowledge' for the environmental class. Furthermore, they had a very positive attitude about the factor of 'participation in environment'.

In this study, collaboration of teacher librarians and subject teachers in school libraries has been investigated(tried, attempted, suggested) in order to improve the information literacy. The effective teaching-learning can be conducted by extending student's roles, which are essential elements in school education. Above all, the model. focused on direct exchange of knowledges in communications between teachers and students has been suggested with consideration of content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and technological knowledge.

This study investigated the effectiveness of teachers inquiry-discovery verbal interaction which was compared with expository-directive verbal interaction. Two teachers from two different kindergarten groups were trained and observed during conversation and science corner activities. Sixty children were observed during science corner activities and tested with a scientific achievement instrument. Teacher's inquiry-discovery verbal interaction had a more positive effect on children's scientific attitudes than teacher's expository-directive verbal interaction. Teacher's inquiry-discovery verbal interaction had a more positive effect on children's scientific achievement than teacher's expository-directive verbal interaction. Children's scientific attitudes and children's scientific achievement had a positive correlation.

This study is intended to develop the role plays on the moon's movement and to investigate how the preservice elementary teacher's concepts are affected by them. Subjects are 30 preservice elementary teachers. One instrument including 7 items was used for testing the preservice teachers' concepts on the moon's movement. Data were collected before using the role playing and after using them through the tests. As a result, the preservice elementary teachers' concepts on the moon's movement were improved by teaming through the role playing

This paper addresses the time and motion study on the woodworking in the primary school. Time study by stopwatch is performed for calculating the standard tie of woodworking. The operator process chart is developed for better illustration and teaching methodology. The purpose of this study is to present a good guideline for woman teachers or beginers(teachers), as well as to provide how much time units are adequate for a special woodworking unit of practice art. According to the result, the contribution of this paper is very much and it is very useful for both teachers and students.

The purpose of this study was to research elementary school on safety education in the subject of practical arts. The subject of practical arts of an elementary school have positive attitude about safety education and must prevent an accident to be able to happen during a class of a practical course previously. Safety education has further an interest on subject of practical arts of practice and must induce an aggressive interest of teachers in order to be able to prevent an accident previously. As the above results, to raise the perceptions of elementary school teachers on safety education in the subject of practical arts, it is necessary to search for ways to induce teachers' active interest in safety education and help them experience safety education in the subject of practical arts at teacher training centers.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemics, Romanian schools functioned online since March 2020, with more or less all school activities being implemented online, using the digital resources and technology. Although none of the key factors involved in education (teachers, pupils, parents) were prepared (emotionally, technically, economically etc.), online education was imposed ad a necessity to continue the teaching-learning-evaluation process, and teachers at all school levels were forced to rapidly adapt to online schooling. In this paper, we aim to investigate the perception of all three educational actors (pupils, parents and teachers) regarding the efficacy of online teaching and learning, based on a survey with 7701 respondents. Research data is relevant for online schooling in Romania between March 2020 and March 2021.
