로봇학습에 기반한 제니보 프로그램이 유아의 정서발달에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Genibo Program Based Robot Learning on a Pre-Schoolers' Emotional Development)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 로봇학습에 기반한 제니보 프로그램이 유아의 정서에 미치는 효과를 밝히는 데 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 Y시 소재 유치원 2개 학급(교사 2명, 유아 44명)을 각각 실험집단과 비교집단으로 나눈 후, 실험집단을 대상으로 제니보를 이용하여, 5개의 메인메뉴로 구성된 20개의 하위 콘텐츠를 적용하였다. 두 집단을 대상으로 정서지능 평가검사를 사전 사후로 실시한 후, SPSS 18.0 통계분석프로그램을 이용한 t-검증과 관찰이 이루어졌다. 연구결과 첫째, 제니보는 유아의 정서에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 정서지능의 4가지 영역(정서인식 및 표현, 사고 촉진, 지식의 활용, 반영적 조절)에서 모두 유의미한 변화를 보였다. 둘째, 생체모방형 로봇은 동물이 수업에 친근하게 사용되는 것과 같이 유아에게 친근하게 다가갈 수 있었다. 셋째, 남아가 여아보다 로봇을 선호하는 경향이 강하다는 기존의 연구들과는 달리 제니보는 남녀유아 모두의 정서에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구결과는 유아를 위한 새로운 교육방법으로서 로봇의 도입을 긍정적으로 검토를 할 수 있고, 친숙한 동물형태의 생체모방형 로봇이 효과적으로 활용될 수 있으며, 로봇의 활용은 유아의 성별보다 개인적인 성향과 발달수준 등에 의해 고려되어야 함을 시사한다.

컴퓨터 소양능력의 신장을 위한 동료교수법의 활용 (The Application of Peer Tutoring for Computer Literacy Education)

  • 초등학생의 컴퓨터 소양능력을 신장시키기 위한 동료 교수법은 학습자가 교사가 구안한 컴퓨터소양교육내용을 다른 학습자에게 돕고 가르치면서 학습하는 방법으로, 학습자들이 서로 결과를 공유할 뿐만 아니라, 그 결과를 얻기 위한 과정도 함께 진행하며 협력한다. 본 연구에서 동료교수법을 적용한 결과 컴퓨터 소양능력이 신장됨을 알 수 있었다. 부차적으로 컴퓨터 소양에 대한 흥미가 높아져 학습 이후에 발전적으로 학습하였고, 상호간의 신뢰가 두터우며, 조력하는 학습 분위기가 전 교과에 확산되었다. 꾸준한 연구가 지속되어 전 학년 컴퓨터 소양교육에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

응급실 방문 환아에 대한 임상적 고찰 (A Clinical Study of the Pediatric Patients Visiting Emergency Center)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic data of nursing intervention through understanding disease pattern of pediatric patients. Data were collected from 3,016 patients who visited emergency center of I university Hospital during one year period from January to December, 1997. The results were as follows : 1. The most common type of disease was respiratory disease (26.7%). 2. According to the developmental age, toddler (35%) ranked first followed by preschooler(22.1%), infant(18.5%), schooler(16.0%), adolescent (5.6%), neonate (2.7%). 3. The proportion of males to females, male patients(59.8%) outnumbered female(40.2%) by the ratio of 1.48 ; 1. 4. Visiting patients were seasonally more frequent in spring(29.8%) and summer (29.3%) than fall or winter. 5. Comparing weekly distribution, week end involing holiday outnumbered week day(48.5%). 6. The visiting time predominattly high from 8 : 00 PM to 0 : 00 AM(29.8%) during a day. 7, The majority duration of stay at Emergency center was 1-6 hours. 8. Most patients dischrged from the emergency center in good condition(76.5%).

동요방송을 활용한 창의적 활동이 초등학생의 인성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of creative activities using multimedia materials of children's songs to personality in elementary school)

  • 본 연구는 올바른 창의 인성 함양을 위한 동요지도를 멀티미디어 자료로 개발하여 효과를 살펴보고자 했다. 이를 위해, 초등학생을 대상으로 인성 함양에 적합한 동요를 선별하고, 애니메이션이나 다큐멘터리, 합창이나 무용 공연, 인터뷰 등 다양한 영상 자료를 포함한 멀티미디어를 제작하고, 제작된 자료를 초등학교에서 동요방송으로 운영하였다. 무엇보다, 교사들이 학생들에게 동요를 쉽게 지도할 수 있도록 교수 학습안과 활동지를 프로그램으로 고안하여 재량활동 시간을 통해 '창의적인 교수 학습 활동안'으로 프로그램이 진행되었고, 학급 홈페이지를 통해 가정에서도 연계할 수 있도록 제시하였다. 그 결과, 동요방송을 통해 초등학생의 인성변화가 긍정적으로 나타났고, 초등학교 시기에 가장 강조되어야 할 창의 인성 함양을 위한 실제적인 활용방안을 통합적인 접근방법에서 논의하고자 했다.

국내 임상에서 실시된 아동간호중재 연구논문(2000-2011년) 동향 분석 (The Analysis of Research Trend on Pediatric Nursing Intervention Studies in Korea, 2000-2011)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analysis the research trends of pediatric nursing intervention studies in Korea form 2000 to 2011. Methods: A literature search was conducted from the databases. RISS and 'Infant', 'Toddler', 'Preschooler', 'Schooler', 'Adolescent', 'Child', 'Effect', 'Program', 'Intervention' and 'Nursing' were used for keyword searches to find relevant studies. A total of 37 published articles and dissertations in Korea from 2000 to 2011 were reviewed using a structured analytical frame. Results: A quasi-experimental design was more common at 91.9% with a true experimental design at 2.7%. The portion of studies in which theoretical framework was suggested was 27.0%. Only 8.1% mentioned International Review Board (IRB) approval and 78.4% received only the participant's agreement. The participants' developmental stage was mostly preschool stage, and 37.0% of the child's health problem was a chronic disease. Sensory interventions made up 45.9% of the types of intervention and most of the sensory interventions were distraction interventions. The contents of intervention outcomes were physiological (54.0%) and psychological (28.0%) categories mostly. Conclusion: This study will help in identifying current research trends of pediatric nursing intervention studies in Korea and provide basic data for the direction of developing pediatric nursing interventions.

업사이클링 주제의 가정과 의생활 영역 융합교육 프로그램 개발 (The Development of Convergence Teaching-Learning Program for the Clothing Section of Home Economic Focused on Up-cycling)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an educational program designed to allow students to experience 'up-cycling' first-hand during class and understand its significance by helping them improving their practical problem-solving abilities. Teachers of home economics, Korean, and social studies to third grade middle schooler were asked to analyze the curriculums of their subjects. The analysis results were then used to identify common elements among the units, reconstruct the curriculums, and develop an integrated lesson program to offer integrated activities. Based on these, a lesson program was developed to make an eco-bag and running shoes under the theme of 'up-cycling' in the unit of 'environmentally-friendly clothing and mending of clothes' in the home economics subject. The results were as follows: First, a topical fusion lesson program was developed to integrate three subjects together. The development process involved the integration of the topic of up-cycling, a program model for integrated lessons, and a teaching and learning process plan for topical integrated education. Secondly, a lesson program for home economics was developed that was applicable to actual home economics lessons based on the topical integrated lesson program. The lesson domains were divided into large, medium, and small to create a ten-lesson teaching and learning process plan needed for the lessons, teaching materials that could be put to actual uses in lessons, and activity and evaluation logs for learners.

생애주기에 따른 스트레스 관리 프로그램에 대한 고찰 -1993년부터 1996년까지의 외국문헌을 중심으로- (Literature Review on the Stress Management Programs throughout Life - span: By foreign research for 1993-1996)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the kind, the frequency, and the type of Stress Management Program(SMPs) throughout life-span used foreign, recent research. The period of this study was from July 1 to Dec. 10, 1997. The data were collected through Medline using two concepts: stress management programs and life-span. The number of these research were 106 and thirty-one experimental researches that were tested the effectiveness of SMPs throughout life span were selected. The data were analysed by the kind, frequency, and life-span. The results were as follows: 1. The kind and frequency of SMP : The total number of the kind of SMP were twenty-two. The most used SMP was relaxation therapy, 22 out of 31. The second biofeedback was 10, the third, cognitive behavior program was 9, the fourth, nutrition and diet, and education were 7. The others were coping skill(4), cognitive therapy(4), breathing(4), imagery(3), autogenic training(3), sleep and rest(2), meditation(2), information(2), desensitization(2), hypnosis(2), behavior therapy(1), time management (1), visualization(I), yoga(I), diversion(1), and problem solving skill. 2. Throughout life-span: Most SMPs were applied to adolescents, young adults, and middle-adults. Other subjects could not be found under the schooler. 3. The type of SMPs : 28(90.3%) out of 31 research used combined-SMP : two-combined SMP, 5: three-combined SMP, twelve: four-combined SMP, seven: five-combined SMP. 4. Afterward, further study such as meta-analysis are needed in order to identify effective ness of the SMPs.

암 환아 가족의 질병에 대한 불확실성과 대처양상에 관한 연구 (A Correlational Study on Uncertainty and Coping in Families of children with Cancer)

  • For most parents their child's illness and hospitalization is strssful. Internal stress and over anxiousness leads to uncertainty. Parents have a variety of ways of coping when faced with such stress factors, especialy when the child has cancer. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between uncertainty in illness and mastery and coping styles in parents of pediatric cancer patients, and further to identify differences between three groups of subjects. A cross-sectional descriptive correlational design was used in this study to investigate the relationship among the three groups. The sample was composed of 59 parents of children with cancer in pediatric wards in three hospitals in Seoul : 21 in Group 4 with a child newly diagnosed with cancer : 25 in Group B, with a child under treatment and rehospitalized with a relapse : and 13 in Group C, with a child with a terminal cancer, A formalized questionnaire which included demegrapic information and consisted of 75 items was used in this study ; The Parent Perception of Uncertainty Scale(PPUS) adapted form Mishel’s Uncertainty in Illness Scale, Pearlin & Schooler's Mastery Scale(MS) and Folkman & Lazarus’s Ways of Coping Checklist(WCC) were used to measure the variables : uncertainty in illness, mastery, and coping styles. A pretest was conducted on the questionnaire items for reliability. The results gathered were analyzed using SPSS /PC/sup +/. Data analysis included descriptive correltional statistics such as ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, amd chi square test. The conclusions of this analysis are summarized as follows : 1. A higher level of uncertainty was seen among parents of children with terminal cancer. 2. The first hypothesis that uncertainty in illness would differ among the three groups was supported(F=4.182, P=.020). The second and third hypotheses that mastery and coping styles would differ among the three groups were not supported. There was a correlation between uncertainty, mastery, and coping styles which was positive, also there was a positive correlation between mastery and coping style(r=.3744, P<.001) but a negative correlation between uncertainty md mastery(r=-.4749, P<.01). From the above results, it can be concluded that prediciting and controlling uncertainty in illness by considering coping styles and mastery are necessary for improved, efficient nursing interventions.

대구지역 일개 초등학교를 대상으로 한 소아 수면문제에 대한 예비연구 (Preliminary Study of Children's Sleep Problems in an Elementary School in Daegu)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of sleep problems in Korean elementary school children and the differences in sleep problems elated to their school grade and gender. Methods : One public elementary school in Dae-gu, Korea as randomly selected. And, parents who agreed to participate this study were asked to complete a modified version of Tucson Children's Assessment of Sleep Apnea screening questionnaire (TuCASA). Results: The most common sleep problem was 'falling asleep in vehicle (44.2%)' and the prevalence rate of this problem differed by school grade. The prevalence rate of falling asleep while watching TV before 8 P.M. (8.0%), daytime fatigue (21.9%) and nocturnal enuresis during the past 6 months (5.3%) were significantly differed by school grade. The prevalence rate of falling asleep while doing home work, falling sleep during a lesson, snoring and bruxism were 12.6%, 1.0%, 26.7% and 13.2% respectively. Although these rates did not show any differences between grades, snoring as more in boys and daytime fatigue was more in girls. Conclusion: This study demonstrates that many elementary school children may have various sleep problems. Lower grade elementary schoolers had sleep problems which related to euro-developmental factors, whereas higher grade elementary schoolers had sleep problems related to sleep deprivation and stress. Finally, more female schooler showed signs of fatigue or sleepiness than male schoolers.

학령 전 아동에서의 추락 손상의 특징 : 예방적 측면 (Fall-Down Injuries in children in Treated at the Emergency Department; Preventable Aspects)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted in order to evaluate the epidemiological characteristics of?children with fall-down injuries according to age groups and to analyze the major trauma groups that were treated at the emergency room (ER). Methods: Among 1,222 children under age 6 who were treated at the ER from January 2008 to December 2009, a retrospective study was conducted through examination of medical records. The children were classified by age into 3 groups: infant, toddler, and pre-schooler. In each group, the differences between the causative factors that led to the fall-down injuries were analyzed. Also, ISS (Injury Severity Score) score above 4 was classified as major trauma, and an ISS score 0-1 was classified as a minor trauma. The relationship between major trauma and age group was also analyzed. Results: Through an analysis of child fall-down injuries, men (56.6%), toddler (47.3%), head-related symptoms (72.9%), furniture-related traumas (80.2%), and falls from less than a 1-m height (69.9%) were found to be common factors. Furthermore, in radiological studies, fractures and brain hemorrhages accounted for 16.9% of major traumas, and simple skull fractures were the most common (21.4%). Distributed according to age group, the factors relevant to fall injuries were fall height and head-related symptoms for infants, accident site, fall height and head-related symptoms for toddlers, and accident site for pre-schoolers (p<0.05). Also, headrelated symptoms and fall height were independent factors of major trauma in all age groups. However, major traumas (17.3%) were related to dumped trauma, fall height and accident site (p<0.05). Conclusion: This study was mainly about head-related injuries, and toddler were most common victims. The relevant factors for the major trauma were falling height for infants, accident site and falling height for toddlers, and accident site, falling height for pre-schoolers.
