  • The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of ego-resilience and compassion satisfaction on professor trust in nursing students. This was a descriptive survey that one hundred and sixty-one first- to fourth-year students of a university in D city who signed an informed consent form to participate in this study were enrolled. The collected data were analyzed using regression analysis. The regression was performed using peer relations, ego-resilience, and compassion satisfaction as the predicting variables. The results showed that peer relations (β=0.142, p=.020), ego-resilience (β=0.322, p<.001), and compassion satisfaction (β=.370, p<.001) predicted professor trust, and they explained 31.1% of the variance. Therefore, it is suggested to develop interventions to improve professor trust through school-year-specific counseling that enhances nursing students' ego-resilience and compassion satisfaction.

Using analysis ANOVA(analysis and variance) and post hoc test, significant mean differences in BDI, BAI, SES and conduct problem scores were observed among the three groups. High ER group showed that SES scores were significantly higher and BDI, BAI and conduct problem scores were significantly lower than that observed in middle and lower ER group. Using multiple regression analysis, the results showed that depression, low self-esteem were significant factors affecting ego-resilience in adolescents. Conclusion : Our findings indicate that depression, anxiety, behavioral problem such as conduct problems and low self-esteem are associated with low ego-resilience.

The factor that affected test anxiety was investigated. It was the school year in which the test anxiety of fourth-year students was significantly higher than that of second-year students. In addition, a positive attitude, which was one of the sub-factors of ego resilience, and support from friends and family, which were the sub-factors of social support, had a negative impact on test anxiety. Conclusion : The results of this study are as follows: First, it is necessary to conduct a study to verify the level of test anxiety of university students majoring in occupational therapy and the factors influencing them. Second, the operation and consultation of non-curricular programs that improve the ego resilience of university students should be conducted in universities and departments. Third, a measure to recognize support from surrounding environment and to ask for help from people around them should be required for university students majoring in occupational therapy.

  • This study was conducted to verify the mediating effect of ego-resilience when early childhood teachers' autonomy affects teacher efficacy. The subjects of the study were 316 early childhood teachers in J degree. For data analysis, SPSS 25.0 was used to conduct Baron & Kenny's 3-step mediation effect analysis using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation analysis, and Process Macro. As a result of the study, first, early childhood teachers' autonomy, teaching efficacy, and ego-resilience were found to have a positive correlation with each other. Second, when early childhood teachers' autonomy affects teacher efficacy, it was found that ego-resilience partially mediates. In other words, it can be interpreted that the autonomy of early childhood teachers has a meaningful effect when ego-resilience is added when it affects the improvement of teacher efficacy. Through this, it is intended to provide basic data for improving early childhood teachers' sense of teacher efficacy and preparing a direction for teacher education support.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors effecting the psychological well-being of adolescents who attend a community child center. Methods: The survey was conducted on 143 children attending a community child center in P city with a structured self-report questionnaire from August 20 to September 20, 2016. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression, using SPSS/WIN version 18.0. Results: There were significant differences in psychological well-being according to grade, one of the general characteristics of the subjects. There was a significant positive correlation between ego-resilience, social support, subjective well-being, and psychological well-being. From the multiple regression analysis, the most significant factors affecting psychological well-being were subjective well-being (${\beta}=.56$) and grade division (${\beta}=.19$). These variables explained 38.0% of the total variance in psychological well-being. Conclusion: Considering the results of this study, it is desirable to develop measures to increase adolescents' subjective well-being and provide support according to grade in order to improve the psychological well-being of the adolescents attending community children centers.
