본 연구는 청소년 자원봉사활동경험의 양적인 측면과 질적인 측면을 모두 포함하여 자원봉사활동이 청소년의 공동체 의식발달에 미치는 영향력을 검증하고자 하였으며, 자원봉사활동이 공동체 의식발달에 미치는 직접적 영향력과 더불어, 자아존중감과 또래애착을 두 변인 간의 매개변인으로 설정하고, 이들 매개변인을 통한 간접효과를 함께 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 한국아동 청소년 패널조사(KCYPS) 중1 패널 자료 중 자원봉사활동 참여경험이 있는 청소년 1,426명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 자원봉사활동시간과 자원봉사활동에 대한 만족도를 각각 독립적으로 살펴보았을 때는 두 변수 모두 공동체 의식과 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 자원봉사활동의 양적 측면과 질적 측면을 동시에 고려하였을 때는 자원봉사활동정도나 활동경험 유무보다 자원봉사활동관련 만족도나 봉사활동 이후의 반성적 학습이 보다 중요한 자원봉사 관련 경험이 된다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 자원봉사활동에 대한 만족도는 청소년 개인의 자아존중감과 또래애착을 증진시키고, 이러한 개인적 특질의 변화가 다시 공동체 의식을 높이는 데 기여하는 것으로 나타나, 자원봉사활동이 공동체 의식 함양에 미치는 직접 효과 뿐 아니라 자아존중감과 또래애착을 통한 간접적 효과를 함께 검증하였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 우리나라 청소년 자원봉사활동의 관리 운영방안 개선의 필요성을 제기하였고, 자원봉사활동의 효과를 극대화시킬 수 있는 방향에 대한 구체적인 내용을 제시하였다.

Purpose: As environmental and social problems such as disasters caused by climate change and the rapid transition to an ultra-aging society are rapidly emerging, the voluntary participation of citizens in civil society is a good alternative to solve various social problems, and the necessity and role of volunteering is gradually being emphasized. Research design, data, and methodology: This study examined the motivation and satisfaction of volunteer participation and conducted a comparison analysis, focusing on the 2013 Beautiful Store Volunteer Satisfaction Survey and the 2021 Volunteer Satisfaction Survey data. Results: To summarize the main results of the study, first, the motivation to start volunteering was to respond that the individual's subjective disposition influenced the motivation to start volunteering. Second, volunteer participants were able to gain recognition and psychological comfort through volunteer activities. In addition, the satisfaction of the part that increases the confidence of volunteer participants can be seen as a positive change in volunteer work. Third, in relation to the continuity of volunteer work, it was found that problems related to managers and conflicts between organizations and individuals were largely emerging as factors that caused them to quit volunteering. Conclusions: Volunteers should be more interested in cooperation and communication and promote discussions on improvement for sustainable service in communication between other volunteers and managers.

The aim of this study was to examine the impact of the participation motivation of hospital volunteers, their awareness of hospital image, hospital management of volunteers, the organizational interpersonal relationship of volunteers and their satisfaction with volunteer activities on the continuance of their volunteer activities. The subjects were 480 volunteers who did volunteer activities in 37 hospitals in Busan, 399 subjects were responsed. This study is meaningful in that unlike relevant earlier studies of medicine, it attempted to make an integrative analysis of the influential factors for volunteer activities continuance and to make use of structural equation, a more advanced analysis technique. Besides, this study gave some suggestions on the customized management of hospital volunteers, its objects and related logical model.

본 연구는 노인들의 자원봉사활동 참여 동기를 알아보고, 그 동기가 자원봉사활동 만족에 미치는 영향관계를 분석하여 노인들이 자원봉사활동에 적극적으로 참여하는데 도움을 주고자 하였다. 설문지는 경기도 고양 및 파주지역의 노인복지관, 건강가정지원센터, 실버경찰대에서 활동 중인 60세 이상의 자원봉사자들로부터 297부를 수거하여 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈도분석, 요인분석, 그리고 회귀분석 등을 사용하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자원봉사활동 참여 동기는 자아실현, 사회적 활동, 사회적 책임감, 그리고 개인성취의 네 가지 요인으로 분류되었고, 이들 모든 요인은 자원봉사활동 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자원봉사활동 참여 동기와 활동만족도는 연령, 학력, 소득, 종교 유무 그리고 건강상태 등 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data to activate the operation of the volunteer activities. The specified subjects for this study are how different is it in the changes of the self-concept and the satisfaction and the intention of the continuance of volunteer activities according to the type of volunteer work and guiding organization for middle school students. For this study, 64 students, the homogeneous ability group, were intentionally assigned in the preliminary inspection of self-concept and 16 students were randomly allocated respectively for 4 groups. The consequences based on the result are as follow: First, it has more influence with the group activities than the individual on the changes in the self-concept. But, there isn't meaningful difference by each guiding organization. Therefore, the school has to provide with activating middle school student's activities by developing various weekly and monthly club volunteer activities. Second, for the satisfaction and the intention of continuance among the guiding organization, it has meaningful difference in the group activities only, not in the individual ones. It gives the ground for the government to provide intensified support to the leaders of the group and grant the incentives to the group of distinguished activities, in the perspective of developing sociality, promoting the group volunteer activities.

목적: 본 연구는 호스피스 자원봉사참여의 동기 및 결과에 대한 모형을 검증하여 자원봉사 참여활성화에 기여하고자 시도되었다. 방법: 조사는 2007년 한국호스피스협회 추계학술대회에 참석하는 자원봉사자 200명과 5개 호스피스 기관의 자원봉사자 132명을 대상으로 진행되었다. 결과: 연구결과를 요약하면 자원봉사참여도를 내생변수로 실존적 안녕감 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사참여도의 경로가 유의하였으며, 자원봉사지속성을 내생변수로 가치동기 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사지속성, 자원봉사참여도 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사지속성, 자원봉사만족도 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사지속성의 경로가 유의하였다. 또한 자원봉사만족도를 내생변수로 실존적 안녕감 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사만족도, 사회동기 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사만족도, 이해동기 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사만족도, 가치동기 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사만족도의 경로가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 간접효과의 경우 자원봉사지속성을 내생변수로 실존적안녕감 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사 참여정도 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사지속성, 실존적안녕감 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사만족도 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사지속성, 사회동기 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사만족도 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사지속성, 이해동기 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사만족도 ${\rightarrow}$ 자원봉사지속성의 경로가 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 호스피스 자원봉사자 들의 실존적 안녕감 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발, 이타적 가치추구 유도교육, 지적성장 격려, 친밀한 관계의 경험에 기초한 자원봉사활동, 지속적 봉사활동 유도에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 치위생과 학생들의 자원봉사 만족도와 자원봉사활동에 영향을 줄 수 있는 요인의 연관성을 찾아 내어 치위생과 학생들의 자원봉사활동을 활성화하기 위한 프로그램을 마련하는 방안 및 문제점을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 광주광역시에 소재한 2개 대학교의 치위생과 재학생 265명을 대상으로 2012년 11월부터 12월까지 자기기입식 설문 조사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 조사대상자의 일반적 특성은 1학년이 51.3%로 가장 많았고 과거 봉사활동 경험이 있는 학생이 74.3%였으며 자원봉사 활동분야에서 장애인 분야가 31.7%로 가장 많았다. 자원봉사활동 참여 동기는 '학점 취득 및 자원봉사활동실적을 쌓기 위해서' 가 56.2%로 가장 많은 분포를 나타내었다. 전공봉사활동에 대해서는 과거 봉사활동경험이 있는 경우가 경험이 없는 경우가 더 높게 나타났고, 봉사활동 참여형태에서 동아리나 소모임이 가장 높았다. 전공봉사활동에 대한 만족도는 주변인의 지지가 높을수록, 업무의 인식도가 높을수록, 업무의 적절성이 높을수록 가족의 지지가 높을수록 높았다. 따라서 치위생과 학생들이 전공봉사활동에 대한 만족도를 높여 자발적이고 지속적인 참여를 할 수 있도록 자원봉사자의 체계적인 교육 및 대학의 실정에 맞는 교과목을 개발하여 효과적인 프로그램의 개발이 시행되어 대학생들의 인식을 바꾸고 활성화 될 수 있도록 많은 연구가 필요할 것이다.

This study analyzed attitudes of primary school children about volunteer service as reported by 582 children, 267 parents and 236 teachers. It aimed to develop a program for the activation of primary school children's volunteer activities and internalization of the importance of continuous involvement in volunteer activities. Two 6th grade classes were sampled for participation in the experience-based preparatory education program. Questionnaires were distributed to subjects. Data were analyzed by SPSSWIN 10.0. Results showed that the experience-based preparatory education program elevated the level of children's motivation for volunteer activities and heightened their satisfaction with volunteer work. Recommendations were made further study.

The propose of this study was to investigate the influences of adolescent’s volunteer service activity on perception toward the elderly. The subjects of this study were 556 students who were selected at random from the second grade of high school in the city of Daegu. A questionnaire was used as survey method. Factor analysis and ANOVA were employed for data analysis and Scheffe test for post-hoc analysis. The main findings were as follow: First Adolescent’s perception toward the elderly was hardly different according to the adolescent’s overall volunteer service activity. The participation attitude, the whole participation time, and the voluntary participation time of the adolescent’s overall volunteer service activity had no effect on the adolescent’s perception toward the elderly. But adolescents who were high in the degree of the participation satisfaction with overall volunteer service activities had a more positive perception on social aspect of the elderly than those who were low in it. Second, adolescent’s who participated in volunteer service activities for the elderly showed a noticeable difference in their perception toward the elderly. adolescents who participated in volunteer service activities for the elderly, those who had a enthusiastic participation attitude over volunteer service activities for the elderly had a more positive perception of the family-relationship and social aspects of the elderly than those who had a passive participation attitude in it. Futhermore, adolescents who were high in the degree of the participation satisfaction over volunteer service activities for the elderly had a more positive perception of the family-relational and social aspect of the elderly that those who were low in it. Also adolescents, who spent a lot of time in whole and voluntary participation over volunteer service activities for the elderly, had a more positive perception of the social aspect of the elderly than those who spentless time.

Purpose: This study was to investigate the relationship between self-esteem and satisfaction with volunteer work in a population of health care center volunteers. Ultimately, the results from this study would help to find ways to keep volunteers continuing their work. Methods: The participants of this study were 179 volunteers who were affiliated with three health care centers located in Gyeonggi-do. Descriptive statistics and multi-stage regression were conducted to analyze data. Results: Self-esteem was significantly associated with the satisfaction with volunteer activity. In addition, the relationship with clients rather than volunteers' general characteristics was also significantly related to the satisfaction with volunteer work. Conclusion: Therefore, it is necessary to increase a volunteer's self-esteem so that the volunteer can keep continuing his or her volunteering activities. Also, in order to promote good relationships between the volunteers and the clients, it will be important to teach communication skills to volunteers.
