The purpose of this study was to investigate the variables related to the propensity of the residential mobility among the Rental Apartment Residents in Gwangju. A total of 303 housewives living in the rental apartment in Gwangju completed a structured questionnaire during Aug. 19-30, 2000. The major findings were as follows. 1. The Rental Apartment Residents were more likely to move rather that to stay. 2. The level of the general housing satisfaction was not high(2.92). 3. The significant variables that influenced on the propensity of the residential mobility were size of the house, satisfaction of the management services, duration of the residence, age of the housewives and general housing satisfaction. In future research, the variables related the housing satisfaction have to be sought respectively and the index of the housing satisfaction and the propensity of the residential mobility have to be made.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Quality of Life with a sample set collected from 37F residents in Seoul Metropolitan's countryside. Collected data were analyzed by means of regression analysis. Research results indicated that the predictors of Quality of Life had a relationship with'job satisfaction','self satisfaction','residential satisfaction','income satisfaction'and other variables(Ra= .48). The residents who strongly satisfied with those variables were likely to satisfy with their life. Also, the existence of toyon office and the educational level emerged as a significant factors for the life satisfaction. This means that the residents located at toyon office or educated higher level satisfied more on their life. Thus the personal characteristics and environmental attributes played a basic role on the life satisfaction. Implications for future research are discussed, and methodological and analytical weaknesses of this study are identified.

The purpose of this study is to find out the present conditions and the residents' satisfaction with the storage spaed and furniture in apartment smaller than 40 pyoun(132㎡). The following were investigated; 1. the rate of residents using beds and their future desire for using beds. 2. the rate of households that have built-in furniture, and residents' desire for having them. 3. types of storage furniture more needed. 4. residents' level of satisfactio with the present storage space. 5. the depths of wardrobes and the heights of racks inside wardrobes. 6. storing conditions of articles seasonal or seldom used.

The purposes of the study are (1) to explore relationships amongst attitudes to positive/negative tourism impacts, community satisfaction, government trust, and support for tourism development and (2) to provide practical implications for policy makers how they can gain residents' support by increasing community satisfaction and government trust, which are resulted from attitudes to tourism impacts. A questionnaire is self-administered to local residents using a systematic sampling method in Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam. The results indicate community satisfaction and government trust are core factors of support for tourism development. The study highlights that to attain community satisfaction and government trust, the policy makers should especially increase positive socio-cultural and environmental impacts and minimize negative economic impacts on the community simultaneously.

The purpose of this study is to suggest objective basic data for the apartment interior landscape project through the quantitative analysis of the apartment residents' satisfaction on the apartment interior landscape. 1. The major variables related to the interior landscape expert's satisfaction were the interest of the broadcasting of the interior landscape, garden belong to oneself, the intention of the modification of the apartment framework for the interior plantscape, the illumination for the indoor Plants, the season feeling through the int erior plantscape, the psychological effect of the indoor plants, income, the apartment framework and interior plants, the experience and knowledge about the indoor plants, floor space, utilizing veranda as a garden. 2. The major variables related to the general residents' satisfaction included the experience and knowledge on the indoor plants, veranda space, the season feeling through the interior plantscape, the illumination for the interior plants, the interest of the broadcasting of the interior landscape, the intention of the modification of the apartment framework for the interior plantscape. 3. According to the multiple regression analysis, the 'R2'of the major variables related to the experts' satisfaction has been obtained as 75.55%, and that of the varibles related to the general residents' satisfaction, 23.49 %. 4. Such variables as the season feeling through the interior plantscape, the Interest of the broadcasting of the interior landscape, and the intention of the modification of the apartment framework for the interior plantscape for the exports and the general residents are supposed that we develope new interior plants as well as the interior plantscape for the growth of the plants regarding the apartment framework. 5. The interior landscape experts were more positive than the general residents in using the interior landscape materials including indoor plants. 6. The feelings about building layout and the satisfaction in exterior spaces expended the interior landscape, visually, were reasons for the satisfaction of the apartment interior landscape.

이 연구는 군사훈련으로 발생하는 소음이 군사시설 주변에 거주하는 주민들의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 시행되었다. 2017년 군사시설 주변에 거주하는 성인 주민 904명을 대상으로 설문을 시행하였다. 대상자들의 삶의 만족도 점수는 총 5점 만점에 3.17점 수준으로 선행연구에 비해 낮은 수준으로 확인되었다. 삶의 만족도 영향요인을 분석하기 위해 종속변수로 삶의 만족도, 독립변수로 인구사회학적 요인과 신체적 피해 경험 요인, 그리고 정신적 피해 경험 요인을 선정하여 회귀분석한 결과 인구사회학적 요인으로는 월평균 가구소득(coef.=0.09, p<0.001), 정신적 피해 경험 요인으로는 정서불안(coef.=-0.34, p<0.001)과 스트레스(coef.=-0.05, p<0.001)가 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이 연구는 군사시설 주변 지역에 거주하는 주민들의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위한 정책 수립에 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Urban residents in crowded complexes are making increasing civil complaints about noise and demanding pleasant and comfortable residential environments. Because noise is one of the most important factors related to urban residents' dissatisfaction with their living environments, the present study investigates the direct and indirect effects of noise-related outdoor environmental factors on residential level satisfaction, using noise level data from 29 noise-measuring stations in Seoul. From 62 multi-family apartment complexes near these stations, the authors collected GIS-based environmental attribute data, as well as survey data including the residents' personal characteristics and indicators designed to measure latent psychological characteristics: noise sensitivity and residential noise level satisfaction. This study then utilized structural equation models to analyze the direct variables influencing the latent variables of noise sensitivity and residential noise level satisfaction, as well as the complex relationships among all variables. The result showed that residents who are exposed to less noise, possibly due to living in apartments facing relatively quiet roads, protected by soundproof walls, or surrounded by densely planted trees, tend to be less noise sensitive, which makes them more satisfied with the ambient noise level. Therefore, critical outdoor environmental variables can be used to reduce noise sensitivity and improve residential noise level satisfaction.

This study aims to verify the effects of the apartment office managers' servant leadership on the residents' satisfactions and housing management company contract renewal ratio, and to examine whether the number of apartment units and the apartments' average size have the moderating effects upon the relationship between servant leadership and the residents's satisfaction and housing management company contract renewal ratio. For the purpose of testing the hypotheses, the questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 1,000 apartment office staffs and 8,000 apartment residents of 200 apartment complex in the region of Ulsan, Kyungnam, and Busan, and the statistical analyses were carried out for the useful questionnaires of 961 apartment office staffs and 7,119 apartment residents. The main results are as follows: First, the higher the office managers servant leadership is, the higher the residents' satisfactions. Second, the number of apartment units and the average size have moderating effects on the relationship between the office managers' servant leadership and housing management company contract renewal ratio. Finally, the summary, implications, and limitations of this study, and the future research direction were discussed in the conclusion.

The purpose of the study was to identify the housing Plan responding to lifestyles of residents living in Center of Ulsan city. The survey used questionnaire from 230 households and analyzed using descriptive statistics. cross analysis, One-Way ANOVA, factor analysis, cluster analysis. The research centered on the possibility of categorizing life styles of residents based upon their living awareness and housing awareness. The results showed that there are two major categorizes of residents's lifestyles. According to classification of their lifestyles, This study tried to analyse the characteristics of residents about housing preference, housing development opinion, housing satisfaction, etc. The application of the lifestyles variable in classifying residents will be important in such activities as large-scale housing supply planning or in the preliminary research and understanding of actual conditions for the housing improvement industry.

This study aims to find out the differences of community satisfaction between rural and urban residents and identify factors influence community satisfaction. The secondary data designed and surveyed by Rural Development Administration in 2018 were used in this study. The total respondents were 3,929; rural 2,780 and urban 1,149 respectively. The major findings were as follows; First, the level of community satisfaction showed satisfactory in both region, however, level of urban residents were more high than rural. Secondly, perceive safety factor(4 variables) was the most influential in both area. The variances explained were 5.2% in rural and 10.5% in urban.
