A Study on the Strategies for Improving User Satisfaction and Continuous Usage of Social Network Service (SNS(Social Network Service)의 사용자 만족과 지속적사용 향상을 위한 방안)

  • SNS provider's biggest interest lies in enhancing user satisfaction through user request analysis and developing services to induce continuous use of those devices. In particular, setting up management directions to develop SNS at maturity is important and it is also important to identify the functions which SNS users are pursuing for and identify what's considered unsatisfiable among the services currently provided in light of user expectations. To this end, this study further presents sociality quality and personal emotional quality reflecting the characteristics of SNS to the existing quality factors and expands to Expected Confirmation Model. This study further took into account of sociality quality and personal emotional quality reflecting the characteristics of SNS and approached to them from the perspective of quality in a comprehensive way, analyzed the degree of impact on recognition factors, and presented the factors that had an impact on the satisfaction with usage and intention to use continuously.

  • Social Network Service (SNS) emerged to become a major platform for consumers' social activities, affecting their choice behavior. With rapid increase in SNS adoption among consumers, firms actively apply SNS into their marketing activities and use it as an important communication medium with consumers. Particularly SNS marketing become increasingly prevalent in Chinese restaurant sector as they provide promotional information to consumers through SNS. It is urgent for firms to understand the extent of SNS impact on consumers' choice behavior, and to understand consumers' response toward SNS in order to develop more effective SNS marketing strategies. The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of four SNS characteristics on brand equity and purchase intention and to determine the relative importance among these four characteristics on brand equity and purchase intention. Results show that all of the characteristics have significant influence on consumers' brand equity, and also, brand equity affects consumers' purchase intention.

  • Social network services can be defined as an individual web page which enables online, human-relationship building by collecting useful information and sharing it with specific or unspecific people. Recently, as the social network services(SNS) such as Twitter and Facebook have been paid attention in many fields of the society. SNSs are also one of the fastest channels to get news which people may not be able to see on TV or newspaper. The number of people who feel they are benefiting from social network services are increasing dramatically. A number of researches about SNS are underway. The study based on the Technology Acceptance Model empirically investigates the relationship between characteristics of SNS (system, service, information, and emotional) and user satisfaction of SNS. The study also analyzes how the relationshipa between SNS characteristics, satisfaction and user acceptance are moderated by country type of SNS users and inclination toward SNS acceptance. To achieve these research purposes, the study conducted various statistical analyses using questionnaire of the Korean and Chinese SNS users. The results of the study are followings. First, SNS characteristics have a positive effect to the user satisfaction. Second, SNS satisfaction have a positive effect to the user acceptance. Third, the relationship between SNS characteristics and user satisfaction is moderated by the country type of SNS users and inclination toward SNS acceptance. The study results could provide some implications to researchers who have interest in studying SNS, also could help business managers to operate and develop their SNS site more effectively.

  • A new communication revolution such as social networking service (SNS) has been transforming the way of interaction between people in both of individual level and organizational level. Recently many people have switched to closed type SNS such as Naver Band and Kakao group due to the several reasons. The purpose of this study is to investigate the usage motivation and satisfaction of SNS based on use and gratifications perspectives. Based on prior studies on use and gratifications of Internet-related media and SNS, information motivation, relationship motivation, pleasure/entertainment motivation, self-expression motivation, work motivation were identified as usage motivation of SNS. This empirical study explores how these motivations vary between open type SNS(facebook and twitter) and closed type SNS(band and kakao group). This study contributes to provide the base of activation strategies and practical implications for companies using SNS as a marketing tool.

  • This paper proposes a making study model using Ajzen's Theory of planned behavior (TPB) and established hypothesis and then analysed propensity of conflict resolution according to the types of SNS users, usages and conflicts. The results of study, active users of SNS have propensity of resolution for their own conflicts through SNS. The users having conflicts between person and person are same with active users. The results of this study could be referenced to other researches for resolving conflicts in or between people in the future.

  • Social network service (SNS) using mobile or web is growing rapidly, and the emergence of various platform services is causing innovative changes in social network service (SNS). This study is to identify the target relation factors of social network users and to empirically study the causal relationship of how much these factors affect user satisfaction through pleasure and self-efficacy. To present an effective and efficient development plan in. In order to empirically verify the research model of this study, a survey was conducted with the general public who had experience using social network services (SNS). Path analysis was performed. As a result, it was possible to verify the correlation of the object relational factors on user satisfaction through pleasure and self-efficacy.First, non-excluded had a significant effect on pleasure, but did not significantly affect self-efficacy. Second, stability attachment did not significantly affect both enjoyment and self-efficacy. Third, social ability did not significantly affect both enjoyment and self-efficacy. Fourth, self-centeredness did not have a significant effect on both enjoyment and self-efficacy. Fifth, pleasure had a significant effect on both self-efficacy and user satisfaction. Sixth, self-efficacy had a significant effect on user satisfaction.

  • 21세기의 인터넷은 통신기술의 진보에 따라 정보의 전달과 상업적인 거래의 플랫폼부터 점점 사람들의 생활과 밀접하게 연관된 일상적인 공간이며, 공동체를 형성하고 자기정체성을 표현하는 사회활동 공간으로 발전하고 있다. 이와 함께, 사이버 공간에서 개인화, 상호작용, 참여, 사회성 등의 특징으로 대별되는 소셜 네트워크 서비스(Social Network Service, SNS)가 전 세계적으로 확산되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존문헌 연구를 바탕으로 바람직한 SNS가 갖추어야 하는 특성(시스템특성, 서비스특성, 정보특성, 감성특성)을 도출하고 이러한 특성과 서비스 채택의도간의 관련성이 있는가를 파악하고자 하였다. 또한, SNS 특성과 서비스 채택의도간의 관련성이 개인의 성향에 따라 차이가 있는가를 검토하고자 하였다. SNS 이용자를 대상으로 설문지를 의뢰하여 통계분석을 실시한 결과, SNS 특성이 서비스 채택의도에 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있으며, SNS 특성과 서비스 채택의도간의 관련성이 개인적 성향에 따라 차이가 존재하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다.

  • In recent years, Social Network Service (SNS) have increasingly gained popularity and have simplified and amplified social interaction between online users. This paper mainly discusses the user satisfaction and intention of continuous use. Based on the literature review, two hypotheses were developed and research model is built for testing. Data was collected through questionnaire survey from 260 SNS college student user. The empirical results shows a significant mediating effect for user satisfaction in the relationship between SNS' quality factors and intention to continued use.

A Study on the Cost-Effect Analysis between Portal-Based and SNS-Based Advertisements (e러닝에서 소셜커머스 기반의 광고와 포털사이트 기반의 광고 간 투자비용 대비 효과에 관한 비교 연구)

  • Recently, the social commerce on Facebook.com and Twitter.com, which is represented by SNS (Social Network Service), has been expanding in the form of a combination of SNS market. This study attempted to examine the cost-effect analysis between portal-based advertisement and SNS-based advertisement in order to establish an effective advertising strategy for e-learning content providers. The results showed that portal-based advertisement is more effective than SNS-based advertisement in terms of advertising effectiveness against cost. According to these empirical research results, this article discusses the practical implications for e-learning content providers in an attempt to enable them to take competitive advantage.
