  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new class of rings containing the class of m-formally Noetherian rings and contained in the class of nonnil-SFT rings introduced and investigated by Benhissi and Dabbabi in 2023 [4]. Let A be a commutative ring with a unit. The ring A is said to be nonnil-m-formally Noetherian, where m ≥ 1 is an integer, if for each increasing sequence of nonnil ideals (In)n≥0 of A the (increasing) sequence (∑i1+⋯+im=nIi1Ii2⋯Iim)n≥0 is stationnary. We investigate the nonnil-m-formally Noetherian variant of some well known theorems on Noetherian and m-formally Noetherian rings. Also we study the transfer of this property to the trivial extension and the amalgamation algebra along an ideal. Among other results, it is shown that A is a nonnil-m-formally Noetherian ring if and only if the m-power of each nonnil radical ideal is finitely generated. Also, we prove that a flat overring of a nonnil-m-formally Noetherian ring is a nonnil-m-formally Noetherian. In addition, several characterizations are given. We establish some other results concerning m-formally Noetherian rings.

  • Skyline Query processing is important to wireless sensor applications in order to process multi-dimensional data efficiently. Most skyline researches about sensor network focus on minimizing the energy consumption due to the battery powered constraints. In order to reduce energy consumption, Filtering Method is proposed. Most existing researches have assumed a snapshot skyline query processing and do not consider continuous queries and use data generated in ancestor node. In this paper, we propose an energy efficient method called Bottom up filtering tuple selection for continuous skyline query processing. Past skyline data generated in child nodes are stored in each sensor node and is used when choosing filtering tuple. We also extend the algorithms, called Support filtering tuple(SFT) that is used when we choose the additional filtering tuple. There is a temporal correlation between previous sensing data and recent sensing data. Thus, Based on past data, we estimate current data. By considering this point, we reduce the unnecessary communication cost. The experimental results show that our method outperforms the existing methods in terms of both data reduction rate(DRR) and total communication cost.

  • As well as the strength check, fatigue life check is also mainly required for designing mooring lines of the floating structures. In general, forces which induce dynamic structural response significantly affect to fatigue design of the mooring lines. So, waves are mainly considered as the governing loading for fatigue design of the mooring lines. In this study, characteristics of the fatigue damage of the mooring lines for submerged floating tunnels (SFT) under irregular waves are investigated. For this study time domain hydrodynamic analysis is used to obtain motion of the tunnel and tension and stresses of the mooring lines under the specific environmental conditions. Also, the Rainflow-counting method, the Palmgren-Miner's rule, and S-N curves for floating offshore structures presented by DNV recommendation is applied to calculate the fatigue damage due to the fluctuating stresses. Referring to the design plactice of the tendon pipes for TLP (tension-leg platform), which is very similar structural system to SFT, it is assumed that a 100 year return period wave attacks the SFT systems during 48 hours and the fatigue damages due to the environmental loading are calculated. Following the analysis sequence, the effects of the tunnel draft, spacing and initial inclination angle of the mooring lines on the fatigue damage under the specific environmental loadings are investigated.

  • This study aims to examine the moderating effects of band circuit training for the mortality improvement of elderly women to provide an effective exercise moderating program for the enhanced quality of life of the elderly. To achieve the purpose of this study, the moderating effects of 8 weeks of band circuit training in the Senior Fitness Tests (SFT) and Sitting Rising Tests (SRT) of elderly women ages 65 and older in Y city were examined and the following results were gained. The functional fitness of elderly women according to the moderating effects of band circuit training (sitting down in a chair and standing up, lifting 2 kg dumbbells, walking in place for 2 minutes, sitting in a chair and bending forward, hand holding behind one's back, walking back and forth for 2.44 m) and the Sitting Rising Test (SRT) displayed statistically significant interaction effects among measurement times and groups and positive improvements were shown in the test group after band circuit training moderation. These research results show that band circuit training moderation has a positive effect on functional fitness and SRT, which are associated with the mortality rate of the elderly, and thus it can be applied as an effective exercise moderation program for the improvement of quality of life through the mortality improvement of the elderly.

  • Pleiomorphic adenoma gene-like1 (PLAGL1) encodes a zinc-finger (ZF) protein with seven ZFs of the C2H2-type which is a regulator of apoptosis and cell cycle arrest, and also regulates the secretion of insulin. In both human and mouse, PLAGL1 is a candidate gene for tumor suppressor and transient neonatal diabetes mellitus (TNDM). In this study, a 2,238 bp fragment covering the complete coding region was obtained and deposited to GenBank (accession number: DQ288899). The reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) indicated that PLAGL1 was expressed almost equally in heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, stomach, small intestine, skeletal muscle, fat, uterus and ovary. Comparing the sequences of Large White and Meishan pigs, a C-T transition in exon 6 was found. The polymorphism could be detected by TaqI and was genotyped in five purebreds (Large White, Landrace, Meishan, Tongcheng and Bamei). Association analysis was performed between the polymorphism and carcass traits in 276 pigs of a "Large White${\times}$Meishan" F2 resource population. As a consequence, significant associations of the genotypes with shoulder backfat thickness (SFT) and internal fat rate (IFR) were observed. Pigs with TT genotype had low SFT and high IFR compared with TC or CC genotypes.

  • In this study, physical experiments were performed in a two-dimensional wave flume to investigate the hydraulic and structural performance of a SFT model. The experiments were made by generating regular waves of different heights and periods under various conditions of buoyancy to weight ratio (BWR) and water depth as well. Through the analysis of the experimental data, it was clarified that the sway and heave motions of the tunnel body linearly increased with wave height and period. In contrast, the roll motion was rather insignificant unless wave height and period were comparatively large as the design wave. Similarly proportional relationship with respect to wave height and period was obtained in case of the maximum tensile force acting on the tension legs and the wave loads on the tunnel body. Regarding the change of water depth or BWR conditions, generally decreasing trend was obtained according to increase of water depth but decrease of BWR for both of the magnitudes of structural behaviors or wave loadings on the SFT structure.

  • Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is an uncommon spindle cell neoplasm that is usually presented as a pleural origin localized tumor. There are few cases, found in thyroid. Twenty six cases found in thyroid have been reported since 1993, and two of these were malignant. We report another malignant case in this study; a 55 years old man visited out-patient clinic due to palpable mass of anterior neck, and pathologically diagnosed as malignant SFT of thyroid after surgical resection. In this study, we focus on the clinical features of this uncommon disease along with other literature reviews.

  • In sensor networks, many methods have been proposed to process in-network aggregation effectively. Contrary to normal aggregation queries, skyline query processing that compare multi-dimension data for producing result is very hard. It is important to filter unnecessary data for energy-efficient skyline query processing. Existing approach like MFTAC restricts unnecessary data transitions by deploying filters to whole sensors. However, network lifetime is reduced by energy consumption for filters transmission. In this paper, we propose a lazy filtering-based skyline query processing algorithm of in-network for reducing energy consumption by filters transmission. The proposed algorithm creates the skyline filter table (SFT) in the data gathering process which sends from sensor nodes to the base station and filters out unnecessary transmissions using it. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm reduces false positive by 53% and improves network lifetime by 44% on average over MFTAC.

  • Concepts of submerged floating tunnels (SFTs) for land connection have been continuously suggested and developed by several researchers and institutes. To maintain their predefined positions under various dynamic environmental loading conditions, the submerged floating tunnels should be effectively moored by reasonable mooring systems. With rational mooring systems, the design of SFTs should be confirmed to satisfy the structural safety, fatigue, and operability design criteria related to tunnel motion, internal forces, structural stresses, and the fatigue life of the main structural members. This paper presents a feasibility study of a submerged floating tunnel moored by an inclined tendon system. The basic structural concept was developed based on the concept of conventional cable-stayed bridges to minimize the seabed excavation, penetration, and anchoring work by applying tower-inclined tendon systems instead of conventional tendons with individual seabed anchors. To evaluate the structural performance of the new type of SFT, a hydrodynamic analysis was performed in the time domain using the commercial nonlinear finite element code ABAQUS-AQUA. For the main dynamic environmental loading condition, an irregular wave load was examined. A JONSWAP wave spectrum was used to generate a time-series wave-induced hydrodynamic load considering the specific significant wave height and peak period for predetermined wave conditions. By performing a time-domain hydrodynamic analysis on the submerged floating structure under irregular waves, the motional characteristics, structural stresses, and fatigue damage of the floating tunnel and mooring members were analyzed to evaluate the structural safety and fatigue performance. According to the analytical study, the suggested conceptual model for SFTs shows very good hydrodynamic structural performance. It can be concluded that the concept can be considered as a reasonable structural type of SFT.

  • In this study, using an X-ray device (Drgem TS-CSP) and foot phantom (SFT-1556), the angle of the X-ray tube was changed to 30°, 35°, 40°, 45°, and 50°, and the image was evaluated by quantitative and qualitative evaluation. In the blind test, it was the highest at 4.34 points at 40°, and in the part calculation using the Image J program, the angle was the largest at 1750 at 50°. In addition, in the area evaluation excluding overlapping areas, the X-ray tube showed the largest value at 40° Therefore, it was found that the X-ray tube angle was suitable when the X-ray tube angle was 40° as a projection method for observing the calcaneus.
