The integration of WLAN and beyond 3G mobile networks offers the possibility of achieving anytime and anywhere Internet access. Moreover the requests for seamless multimedia services and the Quality of Service (QoS) support have been one of key issues in wireless networks. Therefore the researches relative to seamless multimedia service and QoS over heterogeneous wireless networks have been progressing rapidly. In this paper, we propose inter-working architecture for supporting seamless multimedia service and QoS over WLAN and WiBro networks. Based on the proposed inter-working architecture, we also provide both the seamless handover architecture such an inter-network vertical handover and the QoS-aware wireless Medium Access Control (MAC) scheme. In addition, we evaluate and compare the performance by Network Simulator-2 (NS-2) simulations.

최근 인터넷의 확산과 더불어 디지털 비디오 라이브러리(DVL : Digital Video Library) 서비스에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 그러나 현재의 통신망 대역폭과 스위칭 환경 하에서는 종단간 QoS 보장하는데 많은 제약사항이 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 비디오 스트림 처리를 효율적으로 수행하여, 지연-처리율 특성을 만족할 수 있는 스트림 스위칭 구조를 제안하고 이에 대한 성능을 분석하였다. 제안된 ATM-기반 스트림 스위치는 각각 다중화되는 CBR(Constant Bit Rate) 및 VBR(Variable Bit Rate) 스트림의 QoS(Quality of Service)를 보장해야만 한다. 성능분석 결과는 제안된 스위치의 처리율이 r=4일 때 약 0.996의 값을 보였으며, 지연시간도 부하가 0.7 이하일 때 2미만으로 특정되었다. 이 결과는 제안된 구조가 적당한 입력 스트림의 그룹핑을 통하여 비디오 응용을 위한 처리율 및 지연 요구사항 QoS를 보장할 수 있음을 보여준다.

최근 B2C 서비스산업에 있어 기업 간의 경쟁이 심화되고 새로운 비즈니스 가치 창출을 위한 필요 성이 증대되고 있는 상황에서, 기업들은 비즈니스 프로세스 관리 기술에 많은 관심을 기울이고 있다. 프로세스의 최적화를 통해 지속적으로 서비스 품질을 개선하기 위해 비즈니스 프로세스 재설계의 근거로 사용될 수 있는 비즈니스 프로세스 마이닝이 중요한 개념으로 인식되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 프로세스 마이닝에 관한 연구에서는 완성되어 있는 프로세스 로그를 기반으로 워크플로우 기반의 프 로세스 모델을 추출하는 단조로운 형태였기 때문에 다양한 형태의 비즈니스 프로세스를 표현하는데 한계가 있었다. 본 논문에서는 컨벤션, 대학,병원등 광범위한 지식서비스 분야에서 적합한 Prototype 기관을 Test bed로 다양한 프로세스 마이닝 기법으로 분석하여 해당 조직의 문제 프로세스를 발견하 고 개선점을 제안하다. 또한 B2C 서비스 산업에서 적절한 Test bed를 선정하여, 실제 프로세스를 기 존의 legacy system의 event log file에서 분석하여 bottle neck process를 찾아내고, 문제 프로세스를 개선하는 과정을 자동화된 모델링 및 분석 툴을 사용하여 실증적으로 보여준다.

This study analyzes the influence of the career plateau perceived by food service industry employees on their turnover intention. The perception of career plateau is classified as either structural or content-driven. This work also examines how organizational support (formal and informal) for career development affect turnover intention in their interaction with career plateau (structural and content-driven). The research hypothesis was objectively verified based on an analysis of the data on 255 employees. As a result, the structural and content-driven career plateaus perceived by employees were observed to have a positive overall effect on their turnover intention. Aslo, informal organizational support for career development moderates the relationship between career plateau and turnover intention but not formal organizational support.

After Yahoo Korea opened up the Internet portal market in Korea in 1997, the Korean portal market has experienced fierce competition in the beginning of 2000s. After that period, however, Korean portal market looks relatively stable with top five rankers forming oligopoly and shows that Arthur's claim of network externalities can be applied to the portal industry. In this paper, based on case study of the Korean portals we empirically examined how portals have developed and evolved. In this course, we also investigated the sources of portal's competitiveness. The findings of the research suggest that portals develop and evolve through the reflexive four stages in which they compete over different goals: 1) service quality, 2) critical mass of customers, 3) interpersonal interactivity, and 4) innovative service. According to this framework of portal's evolution, we show that top ranking portals in the present have succeeded in accomplishing the goals of each stage.

This is a user experience study of factors that should be considered in designing home appliances experience service. Untact services are emerging, but the development of home appliances sector is in early stage. Based on the six factors of Stephen P. Anderson's Creating Pleasurable Interface Model, this study conducted surveys, 1:1 in-depth interviews, and participation observations to measure and analyze user experience. In this study, I compared 4060s and 2030s's user experience in that the untact services raise the digital alienation among middle-senior-aged. As a result, there were significant differences between the two, including the opposite satisfaction in terms of reliable, usable and pleasurable factors. I hope that this study will be of strategic help in designing future home appliance experience services.

As demand for the application in multimedia networks is increasing rapidly, it is important to provide these services in Mobile Environments (ME). Obtaining to multimedia services which satisfy synchronization constraints in ME and improving the delay time and Quality of Service(QoS) between media streams to be presented, new specification model has to be proposed. In this paper we propose Mobile Synchronization Model(MSM) as a new specification model for describing efficiently the QoS and the delay time. Also, we propose the multimedia synchronization algorithm where is a dynamic synchronization method that minimizes the effects of adaptive transmission delay time. The proposed model has higher the guarantee of QoS such as the loss rate and the playout rate than it of the previous work.

This is a descriptive study to investigate influencing factors of job satisfaction among nurses of comprehensive nursing care ward. The participants were 114 nurses working in comprehensive nursing care ward. Collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that professional self-concept and teamwork were influencing factors of job satisfaction. Therefore, in order to improve job satisfaction of nurses in comprehensive nursing care ward, education and policy support to improve professional self-concept and teamwork. are needed.

기업용 데이터 서비스는 이제 음성, 화상, 데이터의 통합 패러다임과 전자상거래 등의 상거래 패러다임의 변화에 따라 기업의 주요 자산으로 인식되고 있다. 즉, 얼마나 기업망을 효율적으로 구성, 이용하고 또한 이를 생산 요소로 활용하느냐에 따라 기업의 생산성뿐만 아니라 수익성에도 커다란 영향을 미친다. 따라서 많은 기업 이용자들은 그들의 미래 데이터망에 대한 이전(Migration)에 신중을 기할 수밖에 없으며 이제 단순한 비용효율화 방향의 대체 서비스 모색이 아닌 기업 가치사슬상의 핵심 요소로 인식의 변화가 일고 있다. 이에 데이터 서비스 제공사업자들은 그들의 요구에 부응하는 미래 데이터 하부구조 투자와 서비스 개발을 서두르고 있으며, 이용자들의 자연스러운 Migration Path를 전략적으로 구성하고 있다. 본 고는 이용자들의 Migration 개념 변화를 고찰하고 미국 3대 사업자들의 전용회선, 프레임릴레이, ATM 서비스를 대상으로 Migration 전략을 유형화하여 비교 분석한다. 또한 이러한 분석을 통하여 국내 사업자들을 위한 전략적 시사점을 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 응용 계층 멀티캐스트 방식을 이용하여 미디어 스트림 데이터를 실시간으로 전송할 수 있는 서비스망을 구현하고자 한다. 일반적으로 IT 멀티캐스팅 서비스를 구현하기 위해서는 멀티캐스팅 라우터를 이용한다. 그러나 멀티캐스팅 라우터를 이용하여 멀티캐스트 서비스를 구현할 때, 사업적, 기술적 측면에서 많은 문제점을 가지게 된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 애플리케이션 레벨에서 중계 기능을 수행하는 모듈을 이용한다. 기존에 있는 네트웍망을 그대로 이용하면서, 멀티 캐스트 서비스를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 애플리케이션 레벨 멀티캐스트 서비스를 지원하기 위하여 세션망 가입, 세션망 탈퇴, 각 프로토콜에 대해서 정의한다. 정의된 방식을 이용하여 토폴로지를 형성하고, IT 멀티캐스팅 서비스와 응용 계층 멀티캐스트를 이용 하였을 때 패킷 손실의 차이를 NS2를 이용하여 알아본다.
