We define a numerical invariant $row^*_j(A)$ over Cohen-Macaulay local ring A, which is related to the presenting matrices of the j-th syzygy module (with or without free summands). We show that $row_d(A)$=$row_{CM}(A)$ and $row^*_d(A)$=$row^*_{CM}(A)$ for a Cohen-Macaulay local ring A of dimension d.

We find the values of numerical invariants col(R) and row (R) for R=k[te, te+1, t(e-1)e-1] where k is a field and e$\geq$4. We also show that col(R) = crs (R) and row (R) = drs(R), but they are strictly less than the reduction number of R plus 1.

In this article, we investigate the finiteness of Auslander Index when a ring A has not necessarily a canonical module, or a Gorenstein module. We also study the relations between column invariants and row invariants.

We study the behavior of some invariants under completion. We also give a counterexample, which is the same as a counterexample to Ding's Conjecture, to Koh-Lee's Conjecture.

We define a numerical invariant $row_{CM}(A)$ over Cohen-Macaulay local ring A, which is related to rows of the presenting matrices of maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules without free summands. We show that $row(A)=row_{CM}(A)$ for a Cohen-Macaulay(not necessarily Gorenstein) local ring A.

We provide a complete proof that the existence of a system of parameters, which is a reduction of the maximal ideal, is essential in Koh-Lee's conjecture.
