가스질화처리 적용을 통한 스마트무인기 머레이징강 로터허브 부품 품질개선 (Quality Improvement of Smart UAV Rotor-Hub Part Through Gas Nitriding of Maraging Steel)

  • Feathering spindle is one of the critical parts of the rotor system in the Smart Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(SUAV) that it was manufactured with special material, Maraging C300. During the initial ground and tie-down flight tests of the SUAV, surface of the feathering spindle contacting to the needle-roller bearings showed excessive wear and dent due to high vibrating loads transferred from the rotating blades. Gas nitriding process was applied to the bearing contact surface of the feathering spindle to increase surface hardness so as to improve the surface defects. This paper briefly presents the gas nitriding process adopted and the spindle quality improvements including wear and corrosion resistance.

표면 Rolling시 가압력이 표면 조도에 미치는 영향 (An effect of load on surface roughness in surface rolling)

  • The surface rolling method which is one of the plastic deformation processes increases the surface roughness with reduction of diameter and hardness. In this study, three NACHI 6000 ZZ bearing were used for surface rolling tool on a mild steel The following results have been obtained with the mild steel. 1) The load is major factor in getting fine surface roughness of roller finishing after grinding The optimal surface roughness of SS41 steel can be obtained at the contact pressure of 210 kgf/cm$^{2}$. 2) At the contact pressure range of 200kgf/cm$^{2}$-210kgf/cm$^{2}$ for optimal surface roughness, The surface hardness increased to Hv200-Hv240 from Hv 125 before surface rolling. 3) Within the diameter variation of 13 .mu.m the surface roughness and the surface hardness were increased, but out of variation of 14.mu.m. The surface roughness become worse and the surface hardness was increased.

  • 저고도 비행으로 접근하는 적 비행 체계를 신속한 대응 사격으로 제압하는 대공화기용 특수 차량에 차체와 포탑의 회전동력 전달에 선회 베어링이 적용되고 있다. 특수 차량의 전투 임무 수행 과정에서 포탑 하중과 사격 시 발생되는 충격 하중 등이 복합적으로 작용할 때 구조적 안정성이 확보되어야 성공적인 기능 발휘가 가능하다. 선회 베어링의 구성품 중 링기어, 롤러 및 와이어 레이스의 형상과 소재 특성을 고려하여 차량의 포탑 구동과 사격에 의해 작용하는 복합 하중에 대한 구성품의 안정성을 평가하고자 하였다. 안정성 평가를 위한 연구 방법으로는 공학 이론을 바탕으로 구성품의 강도 특성을 수치적 계산을 통해 살펴보고, 다음으로 상용 해석 프로그램인 ANSYS를 이용하여 구성 부품들에 대한 유한 요소 해석을 수행하였다. 이론적 해석과 유한 요소 해석 결과의 상호 비교 결과 매우 유사함을 확인할 수 있었다. 해석 중심으로 수행된 선회 베어링에 대한 구조 안정성 평가 결과로 보아 국산화 개발초기 예비 설계 단계에서 결정한 선회 베어링의 설계 강도가 충분함을 확인하였다.

  • The rotation accuracy of the main spindle that determines the accuracy of CNC machine tools is closely related to the quality of production because it directly affects the shape error and surface roughness of the workpiece. Therefore, the main spindle requires high rotation accuracy, rigidity, and rotation technology. This rotation accuracy is greatly affected by the bearing, center alignment between rotating parts, assembly tolerance, and unbalance of the rotation mass. In this study, the effects of the unbalance of the rotation mass of the main spindle on the rotation accuracy were investigated experimentally. In particular, we tried to study the technical reasons for improving the unbalance of the main spindle and maintaining the rotation accuracy as we verified the correlation between the vibration characteristics of CNC machine tools due to the specifically set unbalance amount and the surface roughness of the workpiece.

현장파쇄 재생골재의 동상방지층 및 빈배합 콘크리트 기층 시험시공연구 (Application of Recycled Aggregate in Job site as Anti-freezing and Lean Concrete Base Materials)

  • 고속도로 건설 및 유지관리 과정중 발생되는 폐콘크리트를 현장파쇄하여 생산한 재생골재를 도로 포장용 재료로 활용하기 위한 시험시공을 실시하였다. 동상방지층의 경우 재생굵은골재, 스크리닝스 및 모래를 소요입도로 혼합하였을 때 양호한 지지력을 나타내었으며 강도가 약한 모르터가 진동 및 전압에 의해 파쇄됨에 따라 재생골재 2$\sim$20mm 통과율이 5$\sim$13%정도 증가하였다. 재생골재를 사용한 빈배합 콘크리트의 강도는 천연쇄석에 비하여 71$\sim$85% 강도를 나타내었으나 배합강도 $57.5kgf/cm^2$를 크게 상회하였으므로 현장적용에는 문제없음을 확인하였다.

쌍롤법에 의한 Al-Sn합금 Strip의 제조 및 특성에 관한 연구 (A Stud on the Fabrication and Characteristics of Al-Sn Alloy Strips by Twin-Roll Process)

  • Twin-roll process is a relatively new continuous casting process which can produce high-quality strip products directly, and solidification rate can reach $10^3$ to $10^4$ K/s, leading to fine and uniform microstructures with enhanced mechanical properties. The strip casting condition for producing fine Al-Sn alloy strip was obtained experimentally, and defects appearing on the strip was examined. Crack formation and surface quality of the strip was found to depend mainly on process parameters such as melt temperature, roller gap and rolling speed. Sn structure of network type was observed in Al-20Sn and Al-40Sn alloy strips, and cell spacing of Al-40Sn alloy was smaller than that of Al-20Sn. Banding strength of the heat treated specimens increased with increasing of soaking time and temperature, and bonding strength of Al-20Sn alloy was more superior than that of Al-40Sn alloy. However wear resistance of Al-40Sn alloy contained large amount of soft Sn which possess good anti-friction characteristics was superior than that of Al-20Sn alloy.

But, Better surface roughness can not be expected, Due to flaking phenomena at more than 300 kgf/cm of contact pressure. 2) At the contact pressure range of $200kgf/cm^2{\sim}210kgf/cm^2$ for optimal surface roughness, The surface hardness increased to Hv 200~Hv 240 from Hv 125 before surface rolling. 3) Within the diameter variation of $13{\mu}m$ the surface roughness and the surface hardness were increased, but out of variation of $14{\mu}m$. The surface roughness become worse and the surface hardness was increased.

  • In this construction case study, Crushed stone under 100mm diameter was carried out a test compacted construction for subgrade in the 3rd. runway of the 2th Incheon International Airport Construction area. Conforming to specification needs a minimum rolling compacted number 10 for upper subgrade 100% compaction degree indicated in Federal Aviation Administration and $K_{30}{\geq}20kgf/cm^3$ in plate bearing test. $K_{30}$ to be acquired 100% compaction degree of upper subgrade is confirmed to about $31kgf/cm^3$ from correlation $K_{30}$ vs relative compaction degree.

자동 닫힘 기능을 갖는 마찰힌지 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Friction Hinge with Automatic Closed Function)

  • A friction hinge system which moves without power was designed and developed using the principle of friction force, which is caused by interference between the inner diameter of a silicon cap and the outer diameter of a cylindrical roller bearing with one-way rotation in a counterclockwise direction. The system was applied to the lid of buffet ware, which moved up by external force and moved down by gravitational force. However, design conditions which included a rotation angle of the hinge of more than 80 degrees and a closing time of more than 20 seconds were required when the lid of the buffet ware closed due to gravitational force. The design safety of the friction hinge body connected to the lid of the buffet ware from the hinge system was checked on the basis of structural, fatigue and thermal analyses. The material of the shaft, cap and flange among the hinge elements was changed to polyethylene from steel to reduce the weight of the friction hinge system. An injection molding simulation was performed and injection molds of the shaft, cap and flange were created. The weight of the hinge system was decreased from 805g to 219g.

전외측 대퇴부 감각 유리피판을 이용한 전족부 탈장갑 손상 재건 (Reconstruction of Forefoot Degloving Injury with Innervated Anterolateral Thigh Free Flap)

  • The forefoot reconstruction is a challenging field for plastic surgeons. Weight bearing tolerability and stability are important factor of choosing reconstruction methods, but cosmetic aspect has to be considered. 51 year old man visited our clinic with extensive degloving injury on right forefoot by roller. The soft tissue defect started from metatarsal area to the toe tip including nails. We harvested the anterolateral thigh flap and transferred it to the forefoot defect area with nerve coaptation. The flap was successful without skin necrosis or other complications. Secondary flap debulking surgery was performed after ten months from initial operation. Patient was satisfied with functional and cosmetic outcomes. The patient was able to wear shoes and walk with adequate sensory recovery. As there is few report about reconstruction of forefoot soft tissue defects, we report a unique case of the anterolateral thigh innervated free flap reconstruction in degloving injury.
