간호사의 연명의료에 대한 태도, 역할 인식 및 간호 스트레스 (Attitude, Role perception and Nursing stress on Life Sustaining Treatment of Nurses)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호사의 연명의료에 대한 태도, 역할 인식 및 간호 스트레스에 대하여 조사하고 관련 요인을 파악하는 것이다. 연구 대상자는 P시에 소재한 G 병원에 근무하는 간호사 160명이며, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연명의료에 대한 태도는 5점 만점에 3.33점, 역할 인식은 3.94점 그리고 간호 스트레스는 3.78점이었다. 연명의료에 대한 태도는 근무 병동 그리고 간호 스트레스는 성별, 결혼 상태, 근무 병동에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 간호 스트레스는 역할 인식과 양의 상관관계가 있었으며, 간호 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성별, 내과 병동, 중환자실, 역할 인식이었다. 그러므로 간호사의 연명의료 간호 스트레스 감소를 위한 교육프로그램의 개발과 효과를 확인하는 연구가 필요하다.

경호무도지도자의 리더십행동이 역할 지각과 코칭 자신감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Security Martial Arts Leaders' Leadership Behaviors on Role Perception and Coaching Confidence)

  • 본 연구는 경호무도지도자의 리더십행동과 역할지각, 코칭자신감 간의 관계와 미치는 영향력에 대해 알아보고 특히, 리더십행동이 코칭자신감에 미치는 영향에 있어 역할지각의 매개효과를 중심으로 실증 조사, 분석하는데 목적을 둔 연구로써 현직 경호무도지도자 들을 대상으로 실증 조사를 통한 자료 수집을 통해 통계분석을 실시하였다. 전체적으로 연구 가설의 검증에 앞서 상관관계 분석을 실시한 결과, 모든 잠재 요인들 간에 유의미한 정(+)의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고(< p.01) 특히 코칭자신감 중 심리적 코칭자신감과 인간관계적, 심리적 코칭자신감, 운동지도, 운동처방, 봉사활동 간의 상관관계가 높게 나타났다. 구체적으로 다음과 같은 검증 결과를 확보하였다. 첫째, 가설 1에 대한 검증 결과, 리더십행동이 역할지각에 미치는 영향력은 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 리더십행동은 역할지각에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 가설 1은 지지되었다. 둘째, 가설 2에 대한 검증 결과, 역할지각이 코칭자신감에 미치는 영향력은 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 역할지각은 코칭자신감에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 가설 2는 지지되었다. 셋째, 가설 3에 대한 검증 결과, 리더십행동이 코칭자신감에 직접적으로 미치는 영향력은 유의한 것으로 나타났으며 리더십행동은 코칭자신감에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 가설 3은 지지되었다. 넷째, 최종적으로 리더십 행동이 코칭자신감에 미치는 총효과는 직접효과와 간접효과를 합한 역할지각의 간접효과와 직접효과가 모두 유의한 것으로 나타나 리더십행동이 코칭자신감에 미치는 영향에 있어 역할지각은 부분매개 효과를 갖는 것으로 확인 되어 연구가설이 지지되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 리더십행동을 통한 코칭자신감 함양에 있어서는 역할지각이 함께 병행되었을 때 그 효과가 극대화됨을 시사한 것으로 평가할 수 있다.

산욕 초기 어머니의 스트레스, 불안 및 신생아 지각 간의 관계 (A Correlation Study of Maternal Stress, Anxiety, and Perception of the Newborn in the Early Postpartum Stage)

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute to maternal nursing in early postpartum stage and to neonatal nursing. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires which were constructed to include parental role stress scale, state-trait anxiety scale, and perception of the newborn scale. The subjects consisted of 100 mothers in the early postpartum stage at three hospitals in the Kyoung-In area, from November 8 to December 26, 1997. The data were analyzed by an SPSS program. The results are as follows ; 1. The mean of parental role stress of mothers in the early postpartum stage was 10.70$\pm$2.63. The means of state anxiety and trait anxiety of mothers were 36.29$\pm$8.45 and 38.53$\pm$8.36. The mean of perception of the newborn was 2.65$\pm$5.05, and 59% of mothers rated their newborn as better than the average newborn. 2. The level of parental role stress correlated to the level of state anxiety and trait anxiety. The level of state anxiety and trait anxiety were also related. The level of perception of the newborn was related to the level of state anxiety and trait anxiety. 3. Mothers who did not want the pregnancy, whose newborns were girls, and who already had one child had higher state anxiety than those who did not. Mothers who already had one child, and whose newborn had no specific signs had higher trait anxiety than those who did not. Mothers who professed a religions had a higher perception of the newborn than those who did not. The above findings indicate that the levels of parental role stress, state anxiety, trait anxiety and perception of the newborn of mothers in early postpartum stage were correlated. Therefore nursing intervention for reducing stress and anxiety, and improving perception of the newborn should be provided for mothers in early postpartum stage.

사서교사의 역할에 대한 인식연구 (A Study of the Roles of the Teacher-Librarians as Perceived by Supervisors, Principals, Teachers and Teacher-Librarians in Korea)

  • The school library plays very important and central role for the fullfillment of educational objective in the process of implementing the school curriculum. And the media specialist known as teacher-librarian is. primarily responsible for the successful operation and effective management of the media center. It is true that effectiveness of the school library depends greatly on the cooperative coordination among teacher-librarian, teacher and principal in addition to the strong support and effective supervision of school district authority, specifically, supervisor of school library program. The successful program therefore is influenced by their perception of the teacher-librarian's role. The purpose of this study was to investigate the teacher-librarian's. educational role perceived by teacher-librarian, teacher, principal and school district supervisor. A standard task model describing both the management and educational functions and expectations of teacher-librarian was proposed after studying the relevant current standards of four countries. Serveral hypotheses were made regarding role perception and a survey instrument was designed based on this proposed task model and the results of the literature review to validate the hypotheses. The questionnaires were mailed out and the returned questionaires were analyzed by SPSS computer routine. The major findings are summarized as follows: 1) There was difference of the role perception among teacher-librarian, teacher, principal and district supervisor at the significance level of p<0.001 for both management and educational functions of teacher­librarian. The mean score of the teacher-librarian was highest among four groups and the score for the educational function tasks were lower than that of management function tasks. 2) The positive correlation exists at the significance level of p<0.001 between the role perception and the attitude toward changing social trends such as acceptance of new technology, need for better communication and information. 3) The positive correlation exists at the significance level of p<0.001 between the role perception and the view on the curriculum and teaching method.

어린이집 이용 부모의 역할 책임에 대한 부모의 인식과 실행 차이 (Differences Between Parental Perceptions and Practices of Parental Role Responsibilities for Children Enrolled in Preschools)

  • Objective: This study aims to examine the level of parental perceptions and practices on parental role responsibilities for children enrolled in preschools and to verify the differences. Methods: A total of 301 parents whose children were attending preschools participated in this study. The collected data were analyzed for frequency, factor analysis, and reliability. In addition, the t-test and the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) were performed. Results: First, there are relatively high levels of perception and practices of parental role responsibilities. Second, parental perception of parental role responsibilities is higher than the level of actual performance. Third, although parents were highly aware of their role responsibilities, there is a great expectation of the role of preschools for the development of the social competence of children. Fourth, parents value the level of practice of role responsibilities in preschools relatively high. Conclusion/Implications: Support systems are needed to reduce the gap between parental perception and practice of their role responsibilities for children enrolled in preschools.

초등학교 보건교사의 자기 역할 인식 (Self Role Perception of Health Teachers in Elementary Schools)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe and understand elementary school health teachers' role perception in their own perspectives. Methods: Data were collected from three focus groups composed of five participants for each group. Each focus group had an interview for two and a half hours on the average. The main question was "What is your perception on the roles of health teachers in elementary schools?" Qualitative data from transcribed notes and field notes were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results: Five main roles were identified from the participants. The participants perceived themselves as 'an expert of health education in school and community', 'a health service provider for school members', 'a health guardian for school members, the coordinator of healthcare related works in school, and the leader of school health. Conclusion: The participants have multiple role identities, which are very important for health management of school members. And the roles such as an expert of health education and a leader for school health are recently emphasized. The findings of this study can provide useful information to design orientation programs for newly appointed health teachers and continuing education programs for enhancing role performance of health teachers in elementary schools.

여성경찰관의 근무특성에 따른 역할인식차이에 관한 ANOVA분석 - 수사분야 등 경찰목표 달성을 위한 역할 중심으로 - (ANOVA Analysis on the Role Perception by Work Characteristics of Female Police Officers)

  • 이 연구는 여성경찰관을 대상으로 근무특성에 따른 여성경찰관의 역할인식 차이를 분석하여 수사분야 등 경찰목표달성과 관련된 역할정립을 새로이 하고자 시도하였다. 근무특성은 실무적 차원에서 분석적 의미가 있는 계급과 근무지역, 근무기간 등으로 하였으며, 역할인식은 과업역할과 집단유지역할 그리고 개인역할로 세분하였다. 그 결과 계급별, 근무지역별 집단간 차이는 과업역할과 집단유지역할에서 유의한 차이를 보였으며 계급이 높고 사건 발생율이 많은 지역에서 근무하는 여성경찰관은 과업역할인식과 집단유지역할인식에서 높은 평균값을 나타냈다. 근무기간의 경우에는 근무경력이 장기간인 여성경찰관이 과업역할과 집단유지역할인식에서 높은 평균값을 나타내었다. 이러한 분석은 그들이 경찰목표 달성을 위한 범인검거 및 예방 등에 대한 강한 과업역할 인식과 조직화합에 대한 높은 집단유지역할 인식을 갖고 있다는 의미 있는 시사점을 제시한다고 볼 수 있다.

암 전문병원 간호사의 간호역할 수행도와 중요도 (Nurse's Role Performance and Perception of the Importance of Role among Nurses Practicing in a Cancer Care Facility)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the nurse's role performance and the perception of the importance of role among nurses practicing in a cancer care facility. Methods: A descriptive study design was applied with convenient sampling of 175 nurses working at a cancer care facility in Daegu, Korea. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire from July 1, 2013 to July 5, 2013. Results: Cancer care facility nurse's role performance score was measured on average $3.23{\pm}0.64.$ Oral medication was the most frequently performed role, followed by encouragement, care related to medication, and pain management. The perception of the importance of nurse's role was measured on average $3.31{\pm}0.35$. Care related to medication was regarded as the most important, followed by transfusion, oral medication, and intravenous & intramuscular medication. Nurse's role performance was different according to nurse's age (F=3.21, p=.024) and current practice area (F=3.73, p=.012). The perception of the importance of nurse's role was different only in relation to current practice area (F=6.82, p<.001). Conclusion: Nurses practicing in oncology setting frequently involve encouraging patients and pain management. Training programs designed to facilitate frequently performed and highly regarded nurse's roles are required for nurses practicing in oncology setting.

신생아중환자실 간호사의 완화간호에 대한 지식과 태도 및 죽음에 대한 인식 간의 관계 (Relationship Among Nurses' Knowledge, Attitude Towards Palliative Care and Perception of Death in Neonatal Intensive Care Units)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among knowledge and attitude toward palliative care and perception of death for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with 110 nurses who work in NICUs in South Korea. The participants filled out a questionnaire regarding their knowledge, attitude towards palliative care and perception of death. The attitude scale was divided into 3 subscales: comfort level, nurses' role and nurses' involvement with family. Results: Comfort level regarding attitude towards palliative care was positively correlated with knowledge (r=.220, p=.016) and the perception of death (r=.194, p=.042). Nurses' role showed a positive correlation with perception of death (r=.395, p=.001). Conclusion: NICU nurses' knowledge of palliative care was below standard across the board, implying that there is a definite need for palliative care education for nurses. The education program for palliative care should include a section that focuses on fostering a positive perception of death as well as defining and delineating the role of nurses.

대전시 중·고등학생의 다문화사회 인식과 다문화교육 경험이 문화적 민감성에 미치는 영향: 다문화교육 필요성 인식의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Multicultural Society Recognition and Multicultural Education Experience on Cultural Sensitivity of Middle and High School Students in Daejeon: Focusing on the Mediating Role of Multicultural Education Needs Perception)

  • The objective of this study is to underline the important role of needs for multicultural education in the formation of middle and high school students' cultural sensitivity for the sake of coping multicultural society. This study focuses on how adolescents' multicultural society recognition and education experiences shape and influence their cultural sensitivity, with the mediating role of multicultural education needs perception. A survey 303 middle school students and 236 high school students Daejeon was conducted. The results of this study as follows. First, high school students' open minded and social participation were significantly higher than those of middle school students, while the latter multicultural education experience level was higher than the former. Second, it was found that multicultural society recognition and education experiences have an indirect impact on cultural sensitivity mediating multicultural education needs perception as well as have a direct effect. However, adolescents' cultural sensitivity was shaped by mediating role of multicultural education needs perception rather than by direct effect of multicultural society recognition and education experiences. A major contribution of this research is the identification of the role of multicultural education needs perception in fostering adolescents' cultural sensitivity.
