This paper addresses the issue of current sampling in a high performance AC drive system fed by a discontinuous PWM inverter. The effect of the sampling error due to the measurement delay produced by an input stage low pass filter and an A/D converter is described in the case of discontinuous PWM. To compensate for the sampling error, a method to estimate the delay time of the whole measurement system based on the measured current is proposed and its effectiveness is verified by experimental results. The proposed algorithm can automatically estimate the system delay introduced by the low pass filter and the A/D converter at the commissioning stage. By delaying the current sampling by the estimated value, experimental results indicate that more than 50% reduction of current ripple can be achieved.

As the current shape of SRM is of pulse type and changed by the motor parameters and drive conditions, the influences on the drive efficiency by control method are more than other types of motors. In this paper, a proper excitation condition to drive a SRM with high efficiency is proposed and tested. It is derived from the conditions that the phase current of a SRM is to be flat-topped at various drive. The saturation effect of magnetic circuit is accounted for more accurate analysis. Experimental tests are executed to verify the proposed excitation method. This drive system is easy to commutate and also advantageous in reducing torque ripple. (author). 6 refs., 10 figs., 1 tab.

Detent force produced in permanent linear machines generally causes an undesired effect that contributes to the output ripple of machine, vibration and noise. This paper analyzes detent force and thrust in Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) by using various detent force minimization techniques. A two dimensional Finite Element Analysis(FEA) is used to Predict detent force and thrust due to structural factors and non-linearity.

Main reasons for causing vibration in a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) are torque ripple and radial force harmonics, and hence, both of them are undesirable in high-precision machine tools and accurate motion-control actuators. Recent research on radial force is the prediction of major vibration frequencies and modes in terms of motor design such as different winding types and a fractional slot number per pole in the stator. Also, proper phase current has been investigated for minimizing radial force harmonics. During the previous studies, all the motors are assumed to be ideally built up in terms of mechanical dimensions, but it is impossible due to dimensional variation within or outside tolerance in production. Therefore, in this paper, the effect of several key factors on radial force is examined and compared regarding manufacturing imperfection.
This study has been performed to consider how to support to be effectively linked hiring of skilled human resources that were discharged through actually related education programs, as demand of they are recently being increased due to the expansion of the logistics market, and effort to train them is being propelled. That is associated with the Busan region, and field of logistics service is 3PL that is seriously considered the area of professional services at the last logistics market. Through the methodology of System dynamics, this study has been modeled about dynamic mechanism considered the growth of logistics marker and relation to employment, and has been estimated about ripple effect within logistics market of major policies related with them.
The severe problem in improving the positioning precision of a permanent linear synchronous motor(PMLSM) is the large detent force caused by the PM. It is generally an undesired effect that contributes to the torque ripple, vibration and noise of machine. In this paper, the method to reduce detent force according to the mover skew is studied and analyzed using the analytical method. The analytical results are validated by finite clement analyses.
The purpose of this study is to technology impact assessment uncertainties and influences of factors for the coexistence technology in MR and to derive the ripple effect of the target technology in many different application fields. This survey is to evaluate the impact of new technologies on economy, society, culture, ethics and environment in advance and to reflect the results in policy research. As a result, we analyzed the positive and negative impacts predicted by the coexistence technology in MR in edutainment field by word cloud analysis. The purpose of these study is to strengthen the intrinsic intent of technology assessment on the edutainment fields to strengthen positive impacts and minimize adverse impacts by identifying the various factors affecting society when the coexistence technology in MR was commercialized as well as by evaluating the positive and negative impacts from a more balanced view.

This paper addresses the current measurement issue of all digital field oriented control of ac motors. The p paper focuses on the effect of low-pass filter and also on the sampling of the fundamental component of the m motor current. The low-pass filter, which suppresses the switching noise of the motor current, introduces v variable phase delay according to the current ripple frequency. It is shown that the current sampling error c consists of the fundamental component and high frL'quency ripple components. In this paper, the dependency of t this current sampling e$\pi$or on the reference voltage vector is investigated analytically and a sampling technique i is proposed to minimize the error. The work is based on the three phase symmetry pulse width modulation l inverter driving an induction machine. With this technique, the bandwidth of current regulator can be extended t to the limit given by the switching frequency of the inverter and more precise torque regulation is possible.
This study analyzes the ripple effects on the national economy of the flood damage using a perfect foresight dynamic CGE model for 2010 as the base year in case that the flood damage reduces the capital of the relevant industrial sectors. The analysis is limited to the items of physical damage such as agricultural land, ships and public facilities, for which statistical data can be obtained. As flood damage scenarios we adopt the minimum, maximum and average value of flood damage's historical data over the period 1991~2010 for each item. The results show that the largest production decline happens to the industry of fishing and transport and the next largest to the agricultural and forestry industry. The GDP reduction in the base year turns out to be from 0.001 to 0.057 percent compared to the benchmark and 11 percent compared to the exogenous shock to capital stock. Dynamically, the GDP gradually decreases until the year of 2030, which shows the long-lasting impact on the national economy of flood damage via the chanel of the capital damage.

Ion beam irradiation induces self-organization of nanostructure on the surface of polymer film. We show that the incident angle of Ar ions on polyethylene naphthalate(PEN) film changes self-organized nanostructure. PEN film was irradiated by argon ion beams with the ion incident angle of 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 80°. Nanostructure was altered from dimple to ripple structure as the angle increases. The ripple structure changed to pillar structure after 60°due to that the shallow incident angle increased the ion energy transfer per depth up to 50 eV/Å, which value could induce excessive surface heating and oligomer formation reacting as a physical mask for anisotropic etching. And quantitative analysis of the nanostructures was adapted by using ABC model and fractal dimension theory.
