This study developed subject guides for modern Korean literature materials that National Library of Korea owns. These were developed through processes such as domestic and foreign case studies, research on user's awareness, and theoretical investigation of modern Korean literature and subject guides in order to reflect characteristics unique to modern Korean literature which existed under special historical conditions. The results of acquiring actual data are as follows. First, this study acquired bibliographic data on 23,731 cases of works and information about figures regarding 117 authors of modern Korean literature. Second, this study covered raw data generated by the corresponding authors from 1894 to 1945 and the derived data generated by other authors until now on the basis of that. Third, an attempt was made to cluster the relevant information through arrangement system by author, genre and time period. The above-mentioned study results are regarded to be significant because an attempt is made to systematize and structure modern Korean literature existing in a complicated condition to such an extent that it was not possible for even the relevant academic world to find exact statistical data on author at that time.

This study aims to analyze features of topics about AI(Artificial Intelligence) which is gaining a massive attention these days. Newspaper articles published from 2016 to June, 2017 were selected to analyze key subjects. The reason why the period was selected is people started to get attention on AI since 2016 as AlphaGo came out and gave a shock. The number of coded main message was 1,210 in 525 newspaper articles in total. The messages were categorized as three subject categories: the seven major categories, 62 middle categories. and minor categories. The seven major categories contains issues such as AI research, AI application, AI business, AI era, AI argument, AlphaGo, and other topics. The first features of issues about AI found in the major subject categories is that they are various and complicate. Second, it is important that social and policy-level issues related AI, such as job losses, misuse, and error should be dealt with to utilize AI safely. Last, issues related the role of human and revolution of education system in the AI era were shown as subjects which are important but hard to discuss.

Research on software education and linking and convergence of other subjects has been mainly focused on mathematics and science subjects. The dissatisfaction of various preferences and types of learning personality cause to learning gap. In addition, it is not desirable considering the solution of various fusion problems that can apply the computational thinking. In this way, it is possible to embrace the diverse tendencies and preferences of students through the linkage with the English subject, which is a linguistic approach that deviates from the existing mathematical and scientific approach. By combining similarities in the process of learning a new language of English education and software education. For this purpose, based on the analysis of teaching - learning model of elementary English subject and software education, we developed a class model by modifying existing English subject and software teaching - learning model to be suitable for linkage. Then, the learning elements applicable to software education were extracted from the contents of elementary school English curriculum, and a program applied to the developed classroom model was designed and the practical application method of learning was searched.

Recently, since the risk on natural disasters is increasing due to abnormal weather such as the global warming, a need for a system on prior review on the influence of disasters has emerged in order to establish a solution by analyzing elements of disaster in advance. However, since the inherently destroying business namely the quarrying business is excluded from the range of subject business of Prior Review System on the influence of disasters, a correction for this is required. In order to actually explore how much risk it contains, actual outflow of soil and flood in the quarrying block where quarrying is being currently carried out was examined and the required undercurrent facility capacity which is also used as a grit chamber was investigated. In addition, by comparing the soil outflow of industrial complexes and golf courses which are current subject businesses of Prior Review on the Influence of Disasters and that of rock mountains relative risk level was examined. After investigation, it was found that the risk on occurrence of disasters was increased due to increase in outflow of soil and flood because of the change of land condition during and after development thus an adequate solution to decrease is required. In addition, after comparison with other business groups it was found that a significantly higher amount of soil is outflown in case of rock mountains thus it was analyzed that a solution to decrease is required. Therefore, a correction is immediately required in order to include quarrying business in the subject business of Prior Review System on the Influence of Disasters.

This study aims to examine both the theoretical framework and practical method for the building a subject-oriented collection of information resources form Internet. Through the study, a few conclusions as well as a suggestion were derived. 1. Conclusions : (1) The continuous learning and studying by the librarians working in the information society is required in order that they could have a broader recognition of the existence of various resources from Internet by subject, and that they could be armed with a greater ability to evaluate for the information filtering. (2) The use of a subject directory to collect needed information resources form Internet revealed the necessity for going through many steps linked by hierarchical indexes till arriving at the desired information, and accordingly the great time was needed to conduct the work. (3) In case of using various search engines, since the output of the relevant information largely depends on the adequate defining of the topic, the right selection of search terms and the accurate methods of inputting the keywords, systematic organization of the resources is not simple and easy. The classifying work of collected resources for the topic into the broader categories differs from that of the resources form other topics, for example, psychology, because of the idiosyncrasy of the contents of the each topic. (4) As one method to provide more revolutionary value-added service using Internet, it is necessary for the librarians to learn the skills to build the Web resource pages of subject-oriented collection of information resources from Internet on the specific subject. 2. A suggestion : Since the study did not complete the collection and organization of the information resources from the Internet on this topic, the remaining research and task should be the thorough collection of resources and the building the Web resource pages consisting of interconnecting links of indexes by spending greater time.

Today's society demands that Individuals need to acquire skills to select information they need, read critically that have been gathered and use them for their advantage. The ability to actively respond to information can be cultivated through reading which facilitates creative, critical thinking, and self-initiated learning. This research presents results from a study in which subject-centered approach to reading guidance was applied to elicit positive changes in reading attitudes and to contribute to the elevation of self-concept among adolescents. Using survey questionnaire, we compared the changes in reading attitude before and after treatment. The results indicate that subject-centered reading instruction brought positive changes in reading attitude among middle school students, contributed positively to the formation of self-concept and the improved student initiated learning.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect on the level of subject interest and interaction when supporting scaffolding considering learner characteristics in PBL. For the study, the participants were 86 college students. The research procedure was as follows. First, we divided the experimental group and the comparative group. A primary PBL was used to measure prior levels of subject interest and interaction. Secondary PBL was performed to verify treatment effect. In the second PBL, the experimental group received cognitive, metacognitive, and motivation scaffolding that reflected the learner's characteristics. The control group received random scaffolding. Subject interest and interaction were measured after the end of the second PBL. Collected data were analyzed using ANCOVA. As a result, the interest and interaction level of the experimental group was analyzed to be higher than that of the control group.

In this thesis, we performed research focusing on the following details: First, questions made in the information computer subject of the employment examination for the 2009 academic year were classified into each major field and the weight and distribution of marks for each field were analyzed; Second, using questionnaire, (1) the distribution of items for major fields and opinions of the verification of teacher's ability, (2) the opinions of difficulty of the examination, the allocation of time and the proportion of subject contents and subject pedagogy; and (3) the recognitions of instructor group and examinee group were examined and the results were compared and analyzed. According to the results of this study, questions were made evenly in the fields of each subject as the intention of making the questions. Also, for each result of the questions about first examination and second examination, there were not significant difference between professor group and examinee group.

To search based on the functional classification or provenance is not easy for users, and the key word-based information retrieval presents only simple words matching with the title of the records. The Presidential Archive of Korea developed a subject classification scheme to improve the convenience of searching for various records and came up with a subject thesaurus based on the scheme that utilizes the terms appearing on the title of the records and the terms used by the users who searched the portal or requested information disclosure. This research presents the development process of subject thesaurus. It also presents the utilization methods for records management work and services.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the tendency of Korean traditional textile studies to review the studies critically and to suggest the new directions. To do this, this study included 164 articles of Korean traditional textile studies published in five Korean major journals from the first issue to the 2009. The identified 164 articles were categorized and analyzed by five areas : study subject, study content, study method, the tendency through times and journals publishing Korea traditional textile articles. The results were as follows. First, in the study subject, the ratio of traditional motifs study was the highest in any other study subject and an actual textile pattern study and society culture historic study were also favored. And, the ratio of foreign textile study was the lowest in any other study subject. Second, in the fiber type of study content, the ratio of silk fiber was the highest in any other fiber type. Hemp, ramie and cotton fiber were followed by silk fiber. Also, the ratio of wool fiber was lowest in any other fiber type. In the weaving type, ratio of plain weave was the highest in any other weaving type. In the times of study, the ratio of the Joseon Dynasty period was the highest in any other times of study. Third, in the study method, the ratio of an actual proof study method was higher than that of literature study method. In the tendency of times, there were society culture historic studies from the time publishing the first edition in each journal, the ratio of an actual textile pattern study, traditional motif study and preservation science study has increased since the 2000. Fourth, in the characteristics of journals, Journal of Korean Society of Costume has published the most articles in any other journal publishing Korea traditional textile study.
