To study the basic research of the lightning parameter for power system operation. LPATS(Lightning Position and Tracking System) has been introduced since 1995 in KEPCO. We have developed the lightning parameter analysis program. We obtained the various statistical distribution of lightning current parameters from 1995 by this program. In this paper, we describe LPATS system configuration. the algorithm of the program and the statistical distribution of lightning current parameters from 1996 to 1997.

The main purpose of Korea Space Launch Vehicle II(KSLV-II) Program is to develop a domestic launch vehicle that can deliver a 1.5ton class application satellite into a Low Earth Orbit(600~800km). The data management is an essential factor in systems engineering for success of large-scale complex systems development, and it systematically manages the information and technical data for the total life-cycle of a system. In this paper, data management policies and processes on KSLV-II program are presented, and product life-cycle management system for KSLV-II program is also presented.

The purpose of this study was to review foreign retrospective Drug Utilization Review(DUR), and so to suggest a development plan suitable for use with domestic situation. Literature review of foreign retrospective DUR program and domestic project such as DUR and prescribing analysis project were reviewed. To improve prescribing quality, developed countries such as US, Canada, UK, France, and Australia have implemented various forms of policy. Based on the review of foreign retrospective DUR program, we suggested to apply practical implementation of retrospective DUR program.

This paper is a review of a 13-year-old policy for university reform in Korea, the Brain Korea 21 Program, based on current theoretical frameworks. Current theoretical frameworks are classified into three groups: micro and macro perspectives on universities and discussion on world-class universities. The overall purpose of BK21 is to bring up high-level scholarship through manpower and achieve several targets of university reform. The program can be evaluated as a success in terms of following a research university model but not the entrepreneurial university model. However, the fact that a 13-year old policy developed under a research university model had features of the entrepreneurial university shows the direction of change that the research university is currently undergoing.

The Smart UAV Program was motivated by a huge potential market, a various application and future core technologies. The Smart UAV system is defined as the advanced air vehicle with the smart technology such as collision awareness and avoidance, healthy monitering and self-recovering, intelligent active control. Due to the broad interest by government, industry and academia, Smart UAV development center and government steering committee were established. The organization of the Smart UAV program consists of domestic/international companies and academia. In this paper, the process and application of system engineering was introduced for Smart UAV development program.

It is expected that an intelligent broadcasting service (IBS) will be able to provide broadcast programs based on user preference and program-associated information (metadata) in order to assist users in easy navigation of the program content being broadcast. In this way, users will be able to access program content anytime, anywhere, and in the manner they wish. This type of IBS will be a basis for future broadcasting services such as customized broadcasting or personal casting. In this paper, we introduce an agent-based multimedia broadcasting framework using the Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents (FIPA) and MPEG-7 technologies within MPEG-21. We use a FIPA implementation called FIPA open source as a platform for exchanging user preferences and program information as FIPA messages between a server and its clients. The user preference is modeled as the User Preference description scheme in MPEG-7 multimedia description schemes. We discuss a framework structure and implementation for the IBS.

This paper describes a research for activation of diect load control program in competitive electicity market. A direct load control program after the restructuring of electric power industry will evolve to the bilateral information system to derive a voluntary participation of demand side resource. Therefore, this paper presented a right way of direct load control program for the foreign market research.

Recently, rapid increase in electricity demand, tremendous financial need for new power plant construction, and environmental problem have led to search for more efficient energy production and energy conservation technologies. Due to the potential energy and cost savings to electric utilities, DSM plays an important role in the electric resource planning. However, implementation of cost-effective DSM program requires appropriate analysis methodologies and procedures. In this study, we present the cost-effectiveness analysis model for DSM program evaluation. We also present a case study to analyze DSM program.

The purpose of this research is to provide the apparel companies with a successful business strategy by analyzing the concept, function and current status of mileage programs; and examining how customer's attitude, recognition, experience, compensation method of the mileage program in apparel companies affect its brand loyalty. In this research simple random sampling was performed. The sample pool was based on 494 people which included college students and employed men and women in their twenties and thirties living in Seoul and in the metropolitan area. The data analysis was completed on the basis of SPSS package, using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, factor analysis, variation, Scheffe test, regression, t-test, and X/sup2/. The following results were found in this research: It is effective to maintain brand loyalty through continuous relationship with consumers as fierce competition increases in apparel companies. A mileage program is a win/win strategy that allows clothing companies to increase its sales and brand loyalty while consumers feel greater satisfaction.

본 연구는 국내에 보고된 대학생 대상의 인성교육 프로그램에 관한 연구를 살펴보고, 그 의미 있는 결과를 통합함으로써 대학생 대상의 인성교육 프로그램의 특성을 고찰하고자 시행되었다. 연구방법은 통합적 문헌고찰이며, 연구대상은 2000년부터 2015년까지 3개의 검색 데이터베이스에서 '대학생', '인성', '프로그램'으로 각각 조합하여 검색 후 선정된 논문 13편이다. 연구결과, 대학생 인성교육 프로그램은 자기이해 및 사회성 향상을 목적으로 한 연구가 가장 많았으며, 이에 대한 효과변인으로 자아존중감을 확인한 연구가 가장 많았다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 인성의 다양한 측면을 포함하는 프로그램의 개발이 필요하며, 인성교육은 단기간의 일회성 교육이 아닌 가정, 학교, 사회 전 분야에 걸쳐 협력하여, 장기적으로 이루어져야 할 필요가 있겠다.
